Hi All,

Just wanting some help. One of the games we plan on having at my friends baby shower is a pass the parcel. I need some ideas for the last gift (the centre of the parcel) to give to the mum2be as she will be the last one to open the parcel.

As I will be getting the mum2be a proper present from myself I dont want the parcel present to be too expensive as I cant really afford it (I'm due only 3 weeks after her). Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated!!

I was thinking maybe something for her (a lavender eye mask or similar) or something for the baby.... Not really sure what to do as I said suggestions would be greatly appreciated!

Maybe a foot treatment like a foot soak, scrub and cream, or just one of them.

I loooved feet treatments when I was pregnant

Ear plugs.

I am not joking, I would have given anything for a pair of ear plugs when I was in the hospital. Slamming doors and nurses yelling from one end of the hall to the other.

Can you get her partner on board?
Perhaps a book of 'vouchers' or just a couple of 'vouchers' from her hubby in the iddle?

You know things like 'I owe you the changing of 10 dirty nappies' or 'I owe you one foot massage', or 'I owe you one home cooked meal depending on what you are craving' - you know, that type of thing....

a tea party, not one where call and make an appointment, but actually set up a tea party in your dining room or something. Invite all her good friends and get out the china. If you wanna get bigger you can make little nut cups for nuts, little mints and stuff like that.

That's a really good idea, otherwise I'd go for the DIY foot treatment type things, those are LUSH when you're preggie!
