:( I have no idea where to post this so I thought general will have to do...

Bath time- 3 days ago loved it splashing, sucking on the flannel, shampoo, bubbles, toys. No worries. Full adult bath or 2 inches of water. Whatever.. good as gold. :)
2 days ago. wants to stand up get out of lay down chair- fine growing up no worries- things to do, buy non slip sticky things for bath base

today- clamouring to get out of bath, scprapig nails up my arm to get out, ditressed when wash hair, water on face freaks her out, fully freaked out bubba- and yes the temperature was same as usual.

What happened?

Oh I know this one!!!:p

DS has a seat (one of the round things where they can sit in it) but we went overseas and he didn't have it and he kept trying to get out of the bath within a minute or two. I think its a security thing. Perhaps try a bath seat rather than a lying back one.

Hope that helps

Yeah id maybe try a bath seat otherwise go back to what is normal for her. Ive heard so not sure if its true  that they can get freaked out really easily by change when it has to do with bathtime that even when you think splashing it ok they freak out over it next time & hate water.
So yeah try the old routine & see how she goes but otherwise be really gentle otherwise you could make it worse.
Good luck !

Sounds like a security thing to me. You could try putting a baby bath inside a big bath for a few weeks and bath her in that. You can also buy a blow-up duck that is a little bath that sits inside a normal one (not sure where to get them from though). Maybe also a new bath toy might entice her to liking her baths again.

aaaaaahhhhhh. The joys of parenthood.

Hi Jess

I bought a Safety First round bath seat from Target, I think it was around $30. It has been a lifesaver! Bath time is much easier because he is confined to the seat, but can still have fun splashing with toys etc. I can even do my hair / makeup etc and can see him in the mirror behind me.

I have been using it since he could sit up very well (6 months) and I hope to get many more easy bath months out of it.
