i bought the ingredients to make a caramel slice but forgot grease proof paper to line the tray. How else can i line it? I have alfoil

Do you have any brown paper bags i guess if you use alfoil you will be picking it off the base
Otherwise give its a good coat with flour and oil...sacrifce a few pieces to get a hole there to get the rest out nicely without making them look too hacked into :D

Use the alfoil, then grease & flour the alfoil, then you will be able to lift the whole lot out of the tray but the alfoil shouldn't stick :)
dammit! now I feel like making caramel slice:D

:no: I do it all the time, should be fine.
tjfaz85 - I think I saw a thread about that recipe here somewhere over the weekend...I didn't see the show tho.

You should buy one of those bendy pans.........no greasing...........the slice just bends right out of it :D
