but I have decided to accept DP's offer to get married...
we have set the date for Mikaylas 1st birthday which will be on Jan 25th 2008

So I am not single anymore and I am engaged...

Not sure how this thread will go though.. with all of you hating my DF already :laughing:

I haven't read your other posts so am just here to say congrats, but also to be a bit of a 'mum' and at the risk of sounding like a wet blanket perhaps if this engagement is coming after relationship problems then getting married on your daughter's birthday is not very fair on her if (and I say IF) things don't work out in the future. You will have taken that one day that is supposed to be all about her and made it a shared day.
JMO.
As I said, Congrats on the engagement and I wish you all the best for a long and happy marriage, but please think of your daughter before taking her day.:)

Yes that was me... we had a long talk about what he said and he explained to me.. we spoke for about 3hrs about it and it's all sorted now
