that will look amazing! hope you dont mind but im gonna steal your ideas so please feel free to post more hehe!
for M's scrapbook i did a page for every 2weeks for her first year.. and extras when special pics were taken and what not..
NO PROBS! I did some more today when E FINALLY went down for a sleep for more than 5 mins! I have done the title page, 13 wk scan, 4D scans, & baby shower.
:hugs: Hope you feel better hun!
I have ordered my BH pram ribbon twice and still have not got it - it was AGES ago. What is the go with these??
Mine took ages but eventually came! I got 2.
WHO IS COMING TOMORROW? I'll PM Brisbane mums my mobile number so please text me & let me know tonight or early tomorrow if you can so we know how many ppl are coming.
Nic, we could still have lunch at Sizzler even if just you & me if you want? I wouldn't know what else to suggest?
Last 2 nights Ella has been screaming & screaming blue murder since around 5pm, won't have her bottle or anything even after her shower like normal & eventually cries herself to sleep. I wish she'd decided to drop a late night bottle instead of dinner time bottle!!!
Grr ... Is Ella the only one not sleeping much during the day? I know she's about the only one not sleeping all night ... Not fair
Ok Look fwd to seeing you girls tomoz!
Hey Carrie- Kestrel still only sleeps for a few minutes here and there during the day (unless I'm carrying him and walking, he'll sleep for hours in the HugABub). He either wants me to look at him so he can smile at me (cute, but don't get a great deal done...) or needs his dummy put back in every few minutes
Every so often he falls asleep with the dummy and I cross my fingers it will last so I can actually do something around the house!
DH has just made a cuppa (sweet man) so off to drink it hot as Kes has fallen asleep! :o
poor little thing. atleast i can verbalise how i feel. having it as a bub mustve been so terrible. im glad your dr was quick to act and they got on top of it. they say children/babies are the most high risk. any idea how she caught it though?? sorry if tmi but did she get red marks on her face or any pus spots?? mine have actually got worse.. not sure about this but hoping my results are in tomorrow.
Shezi, I noticed a red spot on the left side of her cheek which looked like a mozzie bite when doing a 1am feed, didn't think anything of it. She wasn't herself and cried and couldn't really sleep all night. In the morning there was another bite mark, then when I was at mum's house she started getting hot so mum gave her a cool bath and she cracked up then all of a sudden a bruise appeared on her face and she was burning up really bad. It looked like a hickie, blood raising to the surface of her face and it was a really hard lump no pus though. Her temp was 39.6 and the bruise kept spreading and getting really hard. I think she caught it by scratching herself on the face then when we were out during the day at the park she must of came in contact with the nasty germ. I hope you are going to be ok, I am surprised you are not in hospital. Best of luck Shezi, thinking of you!
Carrie, I am coming tomorrow still. If it is just us we can still go to lunch and hang out - I am sure we will find something to do, even if it's a long chat and the girls can have a play - I am sure Madi will try and attack Ella again - hehe
Enjoy your cuppa BG, that is sweet of your DH. Madi is asleep too, peace and quiet until her next feed.
Thanks Nic, I got 2 sips while it was still hot! LOL, he has been awake ever since... fed, changed, hiccough attack... hehe, maybe I'll get a full cup later...
that cellulitis sounds horrid, hope it clears up soon Shezi!
well, DH has gone back to work. worked out well for the airport drop-off as my brother flew in from Dubai at the same time, i could easily pick him up but get this...! his passport was stolen on the plane or at the airport in Dubai or Chennai (he went via chennai to bangkok and then realised it was gone from his bag!). he said it felt like his worst nightmare. they let him leave thailand and come back to perth tho :D
so he will stay here a couple more nights then moving in with a mate. i will miss him but he has to sleep in the lounge here coz the spare room is full of sh!t. and i'm sure he will prefer living with another young guy than MY little guy lol
H asleep on the sofa next to me, he is getting nice and predictable at night, will wake up in a little while for a feed, change and cuddles then he pulls a nice long sleep from 9 til 2/3. then about 6.30. trying to give him the dummy in the early AM so he starts to skip that feed - fingers crossed...
wish i would learn to go to sleep earlier tho, i still go to sleep at 11ish which isnt smart really! i watch tv in bed :o
Ohhhhhhhhh huge post..
Ok.. Nai nai was in hospital RNS mothers day and yesterday - problems breathing then bronchitis with a strain of something I cant pronounce - burst into tears when they put her into a hospital cot in the peadiatrics unit- long story but she is still v sick so please excuse lack of viewing all posts.
hi ladies, just a quick one with photos of our new 'harp for Harper' tattoos!
Love it!:yelclap:
Caithi, how you feeling? Have you been to Doc?
yep... saw oncologist.. had biop, was supposed to see him this morning - nai nai too sick to leave her but Dr rang to ask me to come in to discuss options so I know its no good... can I delete the phone call from memory and pretend all is well??:fingerscrossed:
Hello my names bernie just thought I'd pop in and say g'day.
HI!!
Toadlet didn't cry once on the plane there and back. Very proud. He was perfectly behaved wherever I took him.
Getting lots of smiles now and he replies when you goo and gaa at him.
Are all five of us Sydney mums turning up to the meet?
Our feb/March bubbas are extremely advanced and beautiful - so much more than the "other" babies he he!
Yes still keen to catch up! xoxo
Shezi - big :hugs:
Hope you feel better soon babe!:hugs: :hugs: :hugs:
:hugs: Caithi you poor darling, hopefully Anais is feeling a better now that she is home with you, it must be so hard to see her sick.
So sorry to hear about the doc's message, :fingerscrossed: it just sounded bad the way he said it and that you get good news soon.
Thinking of you matey, and looking forward to hearing how you two are, I'm sure noone would mind you just popping in with updates if you don't have time or energy to read posts!

hi gals, only popped in for a minute, not on my computer cos not at home, so only have a second to say SHEZI - cellulitis is VERY serious - i had it when a wound on my leg infected and i spent 7 nights in hospital on IV antibiotics then had one month of daily nurse visits at home, and i was off work for a long time. i got golden staph. YOU MUST take your antibiotics.
i was told that if the infection goes into your bone you can get osteomylitis (sp?) which is bone infection which stays for life.
i am not trying to scare you, but worst case scenario is that it can be bad news.
i know how cr@p you must be feeling
sick buuby on mothers day... still all smiles, although a different colour (white!!! ) and slightly swollen :)

It is $20K start up but I dont know if that includes a kiln or not. I spoke to brenda today and she is sending me some info. Might email her tonight and ask about the kiln.
im pretty sure that would include it.. only reason mum couldnt get that amount was coz my dad and brother went halves in a beachfront apartment near us a few years ago before they were even built and somehow mum got roped into signing lol. she's going to look into it again once they sell the unit.. hopefully only a couple of months away. my brother is living there now and loving it! its like 200metres, if that, to the nite clubs! hahahaha
Shezi, I noticed a red spot on the left side of her cheek which looked like a mozzie bite when doing a 1am feed, didn't think anything of it. thankyou for that! i hope you dont mind me asking questions.. once madi started to get better did anymore redness appear? only asking coz i feel better but just had a shower and saw that my hand and arm is covered in the redness in small patches in a trail(where the pain has been) but other than it feeling bruised i feel much better.. just thinking maybe this isnt normal..
Ok.. Nai nai was in hospital RNS mothers day and yesterday - problems breathing then bronchitis with a strain of something I cant pronounce - burst into tears when they put her into a hospital cot in the peadiatrics unit- long story but she is still v sick so please excuse lack of viewing all posts.
huge :hugs: to you and little nai nai! poor little chicken. is she home now?
i hope all is well with you too. not nice for everything to hit at once.:hugs: :hugs:
firsttime im definitely on my antibiotics.. been sick for like a week now.. im craving feeling normal. your post will make sure i dont miss any tablets tho! can i ask how big your wound was that bacame infected? also same q for you as i asked m2b.. did you have more redness once you started to feel better? my body is confusing me..
Anais is beautiful:D i really hope she's feeling better now.
not the best way to spend your first mothers day..

wish i would learn to go to sleep earlier tho, i still go to sleep at 11ish which isnt smart really! i watch tv in bed :o
LL im the same as you.. Always awake when i should be asleep lol! I have always been a night owl though, best time for reading lol!
Caithi - BIG :hugs: babe!! Oh i really hope that both you and Anais are ok. I am very prone to getting bronchitis and it feels horrible for me so i can just imagine how bad Nai must be feeling! I really hope that everything is all good with you and that the doc just wants to see you in person rather than telling you everything is ok over the phone.
Shez - I hope you're feeling better hun! I dont know how you keep going! You have 3 little kids AND you still manage to get up to them every morning. I take my hat off to you! :yelclap:
Umm.. cant remember much else lol (im so tired) Just got back from my craft night at a girlfriends house. A group of us all catch up on a Tuesday night and do our own crafty things over a cuppa or glass of wine plus a chat. I have just started knitting the teddy bear for Griffin!
Ok, i gotta go to bed now. Im absolutely buggered! Night all!
thankyou for that! i hope you dont mind me asking questions.. once madi started to get better did anymore redness appear? only asking coz i feel better but just had a shower and saw that my hand and arm is covered in the redness in small patches in a trail(where the pain has been) but other than it feeling bruised i feel much better.. just thinking maybe this isnt normal..
That's ok Shezi, ask as many q's as you like. When Madi was getting better the redness faded to an old bruise colour - IYKWIM? But she is still scared today with the mark on her face, when she cries it highlights on her face. I think you should go back to the doctor 'cause to me it sounds like it's spreading.
Caithi, poor Nai Nai, I hope she is better soon. I hope you are ok too, maybe call your doc to check what the news is and exlain that you can't get in to see him. Thinking of you and Nai Nai. :hugs:
BG, hope you got that cuppa in the end! K sounds too cute.
Lana, that's a great idea about a craft night. Good luck making the teddy!
Carrie and Brissy girls, Madi is a bit off today so don't think I am going to make it. I don't want to risk her getting sick again. I really wanted to meet up, I am free next week if anyone wanted to meet up with us?

I know - I was so excited to have a girl cause there are such cute little dresses and things out there - although I have not bought her a thing because I had so much given to us when she was born.
Oh and yes it is still very much hot up here!! Thats the beauty about living so far north... she gets so much more wear out of her clothes!

LOL, though it took Kes 3 days to reach her weight... I'd say he's twice her size now!
Lana-great to hear the bear is coming along well!
LL-I'll bet we suffer for it when they're toddlers and they start swinging from the curtains! LOL, maybe I should nickname him lamb...;)
The other animal name he has is 'chook', I'd kind of forgotten he was a sheepish-pig!
LL - Are you still up for catching up tomorrow?? If not thats cool.
sure am! will be over about 10, i'll text you if i'm running late. see ya then :)
Hey girls,
Just super quickly checking in. Haven't read much as Leah is awake and hasseling DH.....
BG - That is EXACTLY my little miss!!! You described her perfectly.
Had my ECHC appt today. Apparently Leah is an extremely alert, stubborn, high maintenance little miss. I could have told her that. Anyway, nothing major to report. Been flat stack this week with appt.
My Pap smear result aint looking so good. Should be non-melignant but theres a reasonable chance it isn't. Will find out in 6 months I guess when we get a better idea of whats going on.
Gotta go, madam needs food.
Shezi, hope you are feeling better hon.
Caithi, hows bubs doing? Its so hard when you baby goes to hosptial isn't it. I had that with Sam at 11 mths.
Have a good night girls.
Anna, sorry to hear about the abnormal result. Let's hope the 6 month check is clear!
I really should go for my check up and pap, not doing myself any favours avoiding it :shame:
Love the description the nurse gave of Leah, I can't believe how similar our two are... though I seem to remember us both hanging around here waiting for them to come out for quite some time, maybe they were in there plotting our downfall eh? ;) :p
Oh, and Shezi- the 'me' posts are necessary so that we can hear how you are! Has the doc called you back yet with the results? :fingerscrossed:
any other animal nicknames out there? i sometimes use 'fishy' and 'piggy' too for his starsign and chinese year
Turtle - because she holds her head up with this long neck and her face goes from fatty boom ba lah to skinny mini - v cute lol
Caithi, Nai Nai, and Shezi hope you are all on the mend today. Caithi hopefully the news is not too bad.

R&T's Mum/Mumtoryan/Harrison's mum/Tazzy and to anyone else I've missed - beautiful photos girls! Love seeing all your bubs .... so cute!
What is it with the March Mummas - why are we all so poorly? I have a bad case of the flu and have been out of action since Monday and now Cal is getting all snotty which is bad news.
I took him to the pediatrician today and all is good there except he told me to watch this cold and to see a dr if it goes to his chest.
Do all of your babies have a lot of lower wind? Cal farts non stop and they are really realy loud..worse than the ones his daddy does LOL!
Also are your bubs pooing less? Cal is 7.5wks and is now not even pooing once a day. He used to poo at every nappy change. Is this normal?

Hello!
Anna - I hope your papsmear results are gonna be ok - how annoying you have to wait that long! I have everything crossed for you!
Caithi - I'm so sorry babe, I hope the oncologist visit goes as well as it can - I have everything crossed for you too. Anais looks so sick in those piccies but she'll pull through!
Tazzy - Gorgeous pics! I want that dress for Ella? Where did you get it from? I luv bum covers, lol. Also, could you please pm me your ceremony for the naming day? And other tips would be nice - I HAVE NO IDEA WHERE TO START!!!
Gemma - Gorgeous girls - you included!!!
Perthies - Hope you enjoy the Tim Tams! We want some pics!
Shezi - How are you today? Hope dp is pulling his weight with the girls!
Ella - seems to be more & more alert & interactive every day! I was so tired yesterday after getting home late Tues night from mum's then Ella hardly slept that night & Bris meet fell through so I went & paid rent in person (by money order - they don't accept cash! Grr), got some dvd's - The Holiday, Pursuit of Happyness, Mary Antionette & Charlotte's Web (Pursuit of Happyness is fantastic btw) - & got Maccas & watched 2 dvd's & cuddled Ella all afternoon!
DH slept on the couch last night & Ella and I slept in our bed. She didn't have a bottle til 2.30am - she'd been stirring but wasn't really awake & I was sick of her wanting her dummy - then 6.30 & 9.30 so we had a nice sleep. When I woke up this morning she was awake looking at me smiling! Awww ...
Today I haven't done anything either - just watched other 2 dvd's :) It's nice ...
I should do some housework tomorrow - I am used to doing it every day & having everything perfect but maybe cos I have other things to do? I dunno ...
ME - Well I have just found out my grandma now has bone cancer. She had breast cancer 2 yrs ago (at Easter) & around the same time my grandpa's bowel cancer came back. As it is grandpa prob doesn't even have 12 months left (although he has survived longer than we thought as the exy chemo drug he had was stopping the progression or slowing it down - it's in his liver & his whole body).
Grandma's had been in remission & for last couple of months she has been so sore & hardly been able to move. She had the scan and it is bone cancer & is in her spine & pelvis. She will have radiation for 2 weks more for pain relief than anything else I think.
She made me that cushion i showed you before she got too sore & this is pretty much 'it' for both of them so that makes it extra special.
To top it off my aunty who I'd always been really close to hadn't spoken to me since I had Ella & dad (her bro) eventually got it out of her that she has a brain annurism (sp?) & she has been travelling here to take Grandpa to chemo every 2 weeks & saying she's meeting a friend or something & going to specialists & having MRI scans! Dad made her see a dr last week or this week & they found she has a blood clot in her leg also! She hasn't told my grandparents as they have enough on their plate & wouldn't handle it - they are already writing my grandpa's eulogy (sp?) and planning funerals instead of just living their time they have left.
When i found out about my grandma I just said what i always do - 'Everything always happens for a reason' and I believe that maybe it is so that she doesn't have to live on her own without my grandpa for long & they will die together or close together.
I just don't want anything to happen to my aunty who is only 47 ... She can't have surgery as when yuo have an annurism you can't have a general. She also has appendix probs but mustn't be serious enough to get out - I am sure they can get it without a general but aren't atm.
SORRY FOR THE LONG DEPRESSING 'ME' POST ... I HAD TO WRITE IT DOWN ...

Hi Sarah,
Sorry, mega busy with work, just gained 4 new clients this week. plus doing some new developments for my calculators etc, so jam packed!!
Also been selling off my nappy material stash so had to cut up heaps for that. And making something for the MCN swap.
Monty is great, he has a bit of a cold though, we have both had one for over a week now. Not effecting his eatig.
Has anyone stoped wrapping their babies? Monty gets too sweaty and feels restricted so I do't wrap him during the day now, he seams to be ok with it. Except he's great at wriggling up the cot!
I bought him some toys , the fisher price 3 in one gym xylaphone thingy.. DP calls it the Arc de Triumph. also some building blocks with alphabet on them and something inside each one.
He isn't keen on toys in the loynge but I told him to accept the fact we have a kid now and there WILL be toys around.
Love the froggy prints too~
Shezi, how are you feeling?
RTC Mum.. those pictures are lovely, you have a beautiful family.
Animal Nicknames for Monty: Toadlet, Squeaky Pig and Rodent

Hi Girls,
Just a quickie as Sams about to wake.
Carrie, so sorry to hear about your Gran. :hugs:
Hi girls!
Anna - why are they making you wait 6 mnths?? I would just stress the whole time which is not healthy! Big hugs to you :hugs: hope everything turns out ok....I'll have everything crossed for you!
thanks for your wishes girls. Frangi, they have to wait so long to see if there are any further changes and how quickly things are changing. If I get a 2nd abnormal smear then its straight onto treatment.
Had to get Sam a blood test today. Ever tried getting blood out of a 2 year olds arm? Not fun.
Met up with a friend for morning tea - it was nice. Brought Sam some more shirts and a DVD and just had a nice morning out.
Nothing much else going on. Leah went 9 hrs between feeds overnight (didn't sleep for 9 hrs though mind you).
Her stats are :
Length 56cm
Weight 4.7kg
H.circ 38 (big head - thank goodness it wasn't at birth  )
So shes still just a wee bub.
Need to take more photos. Haven't taken any for weeks.
Ok, gotta go get Sam up.

Frangi~ pooing less is totally normal if his bf, Iris does one once a week...its HUGE! had to throw out her jumpsuit last time as it stained terribley:eek:
Carrie~ so sorry to hear things arent good hun,
Hugs to your gran its horrible, dh had to watch his mum go through that too and it really broke his spirit (he was only 16 when she was diagnosed:crying: )
My gran though si a proud cancer surviver this horrible disease can be beaten:thumbsup:
Hugs to your aunty too, annerisims (sp) are very serious my dads mum and my cousin both died after having a severe one, not meaning to scare or upset you BUT they are serious and hereditary so we all had to get tested, maybe a thought for your family to think about...testing that is
thinking of you hun
Hollie~ to frog's 'no toy' policy lol he'll soon get over run with toys hahahaha
Iris loves her play gym, finally got the mozart to work and she sings along to it lol very cute
plus when she kicks this thing it plays animal sounds very educational d'oh ahahahahahaha
Caithi~ you'll have to give me christening event tips hun I am clueless O's godmother organised his so i have no idea!
sometimes i hate the laptop, if you touch the touchpad wrong, it goes 'back' and loses my reply!! can i remember what i wrote??...
Carrie - sorry to hear about your grandparents and aunt :hugs:
Hollie - i didnt want toys in our loungeroom but we don't have a games room so i've gotten used to it. i have a corner where i keep his playmat, rocker and a basket of toys.
we met Griffin today! he is super-cute, lovely chubba-cheeks. Amity gave Harper some kisses, very sweet. i took some photos on my phone coz i forgot my camera but i need to find the cord! Lana took some pics too so she'll post them later...
the talk of aneurysms reminded me of a sad story. last weekend, my friend was driving one of his footy mates home and he had an aneursym and died in the car. he was only 23 :( and my friend was so upset, it was a horrible experience for him, nothing he could do. he went to a counsellor and i think he is feeling a bit better but not something he will forget in a hurry :crying:

Griff slept for 9.5 hours last night and has had his two day naps today! What a good boy!
Our little meet was good, although i forgot to get the tim tams! Amity scared Harper so much with her loud voice that she made him cry! Poor little man! I got some gorgeous smiles out of him too! In the end, Amity went to her room for being naughty, and the bubs went to sleep so Michaela and i got to relax and chat! Thanks for a great day!!
Perthies - Was thinking og having the next one on a Tuesday. Maybe the 22nd or 29th??

Okay - now I have caught up...
Grr ... Is Ella the only one not sleeping much during the day? I know she's about the only one not sleeping all night ... Not fair
Carrie - Sorry to hear about your auntie and grandparents. Cancer is nasty stuff. My Dad has just been diagnosed with Prostate cancer and is going into hospital next week to have it removed completely. They live in the country so Mum will be staying with me while dad is in hospy and then they will both stay with me for a few days until he is well enough to travel back home. Scary stuff!!!! :gloomy:
Re day sleeps - no you are not alone. Matt never sleeps for more than about 45mins at a time during the day. Althought I do get at least one of these between each feed and he is doing well at night: Feeds genearlly at 7pm, 10:30, then 3-4ish (sometimes wakes earlier but I just pop dumy in with no feed) then 7 again (although usually awake from 6). I am hoping the 4ish one stretches out soon.
well, DH has gone back to work. worked out well for the airport drop-off as my brother flew in from Dubai at the same time, i could easily pick him up ...
H asleep on the sofa next to me, he is getting nice and predictable at night, will wake up in a little while for a feed, change and cuddles then he pulls a nice long sleep from 9 til 2/3. then about 6.30. trying to give him the dummy in the early AM so he starts to skip that feed - fingers crossed...
wish i would learn to go to sleep earlier tho, i still go to sleep at 11ish which isnt smart really! i watch tv in bed
You sound just like me... I should be going to bed between the 7 and 10:30 feed but just can't seem to do it!
What does you DH do? Is he away a lot? Sorry you have probably said before but I have forgotten. My hubby is away for days at a time and whlie he has been home for the last two months :smiliedance: it is also kinda good to see him go again after so long at home. Still looking forward to him being home on Tuesday though.
sick buuby on mothers day... still all smiles, although a different colour (white!!! ) and slightly swollen
Caithi - Poor nai nai, its just soooo sad to see them unwell. I hope she is starting to feel better. Hugs to you too - I don't blame you for putting your head in the sand either but be careful cause then it just will eat at your subconscious. Maybe its not as bad as you think?
Shezi - big hugs to you too babe. I hope you are starting to feel better. I havent heard of that skin thingy before but it sounds scary!!!! Take care of yourself and don't take any chances please!!!
Anna - also big hugs to you and I hope everythying is normal on your next smear. I guess you just got to try and forget all about it for the next 6 months. Lucky you have got your beautiful kids to keep you busy ;).
Taryn - Logan and Jacey are sooooo gorgeous!
Gemma - You and your girls are sooooo beautiful.
I just love all the piccies.
Nic - Re Brissie meet - next week may not be good for me because of Dad's operation. Maybe the week after? Tuesdays and Thursdays are great as Ryan is in childcare. If we want Ryan there then Mon or Fri is better du to his swimming on Wednesdays.
Nicknames - Matthew sometimes gets "Matty Matty Moo Cow" from me at the moment although my mum thinks (coz I am BFing) it should be Matty Matrty Potty Calf! Ha ha.
Sorry for the looooong post! Big Hugs to all you that need them :hugs: xxx.

LL and Elmo.. your boys are gorgeous!
LL, why not give harper water in the morning instead of a dummy? I give Monty water if he wakes up early so he doesnt hang out for a feed too much.
He wants food exactly every three hours and is now sleeping about 1 hour 40 between each feed and I play with him when he wakes up until his next feed.
Night times he's doing 5 - 7 hours then 3 hours after that so we get a good block of sleep. Also feeding heaps quicker too.
Caithi, hope turtle gets better soon, Monty was sick one day last week and it broke my heart. I sobbed like a blithering idiot.
I had a fantastic climb tonight after a **** one last saturday cause of a bad back from carrying a fat rodet.
Sleepies time!
Hello Everyone
Carrie :hugs: sorry to hear about you Grandparents and Aunty. My Nanna had bowel cancer a few years ago and the doc's thought it went away but now she has it back in her liver. She's on Morphine tables? I'm not sure I dont really understand it to well.
Shezi, hope you are felling better.
Anna, :fingerscrossed: everything will be okay in the six 6mths check up.
Caithi :fingerscrossed: to you as well, hope everything will be okay and hope Nai Nai is feeling alot better.
Lana & LL, sounds like you both and the bubs had a lovely time. And gorgeous photos too.
Hope everyone else is well.
Cooper's been so good with sleeping through the night. He probably goes down around 8:30-9:30pm and doesn't wake up till about 6-7:30am. His been a little sick after each feed for about a week but just little spews so I think it might be reflux. Dh bought Cooper his first little Baby Bible. It's very cute.
Here's some pics of Cooper

My sister just bought a new car yesterday and today she hit someone with it  thankfully the girl was okay. The girl said to my sister 'I hope you are going to give me a lift home now?' LOL. Oh well.
Anyway better head off. Night
:hugs: Carrie, that's a lot to handle, I hope your aunty and grandparents are doing OK.
Lana, you'll never guess what my inlaws bought us today... an apple P&T sport :o, I'm sorry sweety, they heard that I was so upset at not being able to buy yours and ordered me one (pretty generous, they are a kind pair). I wish I'd been able to get yours so that we both won!
I must say, I am pretty chuffed with it so far! Picked it up from the shop and took it straight to the market for a trial run. Amazing! I've only ever pushed him in an umbrella style one with teensy wheels so this was quite different, LOL
Great too having the storm cover, it was raining heaps and he was warm and dry
Great photos by the way, amazing how such young tiny little humans can be such individuals! Surprised how old Amity looks, haven't seen a pic of her since I think the Christmas ones? Looking just beautiful Lana.
Sharon-Glad to hear you've got the house to yourself, it must be quite relaxing after him being home so long (that sounded kind of bad, I hope you know what I mean!)
Oh Frangi, Kes has started pooing a little less too. I've noticed that he has stopped going overnight, though generally still poos after day feeds (and they're bigger too :o)
He was so tuckered out after the trip today (we then visited my parents) that he slept for over 4 hours in his bassinet! He was then only up long enough to be changed and fed, now back down for an hour and counting. Yay!
LT- not sure if I posted yesterday (I intended to, but can't remember, LOL) but I got the pattern in the mail! Yay!!! Thanks heaps for that, I have some fleece and bamboo so it's awesome to have the pattern too!

Hehehe thats great!! And dont be sorry, you didnt do anything wrong! I understand that some things just cant be helped, trust me. So very nice of your in-laws (and they even got the right colour lol!) Did i tell you that i sold my one?? A lady in NSW bought it and i posted it to her on wednesday. Postage was cheaper than originally quoted (only $30).
Yep they are all individuals hey! Its great when they are around 6 - 8 months old and they really start to get more personality. Lol yeah Amity is growing up so fast! She is changing heaps at the moment and she has gotten taller again. Oh, and she has just started to get a bit of a sense of humour lol. She now play jokes on us sometimes!
Emma - How cute that your DH bought Cooper his first little bible?? How long will that one last him? They have different ones for different age groups dont they? (I remember my best friend had a teen study bible (her dad was a pastor)).
Well i have finished the body of the teddy i just have to be shown how to cast off now. I think i remember but dont want to stuff it up. Then i get to start the legs... Oh hang on, i just remember that i need to do TWO bodies!! Doh!
BlueGin you inlaws sounds great.

Haven't seen Scoob around lately, hope she's doing well.

Tazzy - Gorgeous pics! I want that dress for Ella? Where did you get it from? I luv bum covers, lol. Also, could you please pm me your ceremony for the naming day? And other tips would be nice - I HAVE NO IDEA WHERE TO START!!!btw) -
Girls the dress that jacey had on is from Pumpkin Patch and the bum cover came with it. I LOVE bum covers too and I have a few dresses that came with them so it will be great cause I can use them with others as well. I'm finally starting to dress her in things other than one pieces!! Yesterday she had really cute overalls (white with pink butterflies) on, until she pooped and it went out the side of the nappy!! My mum bought me boxes of snuggler nappies yesterday from BigW - very cheap. Got a small pack which has 132 nappies I think, for $30!! Jacey wears these or babylove through the day and huggies at night. Oh and yesterday when she pooped through her nappy it was a huggies
CarrieB, PM me your email address and I will send you the naming ceremony stuff cause its too long to put in a PM. Basically we booked the celebrant, picked out the cake (same lady who did our wedding cake - it was only $30 too - bargin), booked the place through council as it was at Queens gardens here. Then ordered some platters through wollies deli!! It was great - mum got some seafood platters too. Thats was it basically. Oh and we do this thing where we had a chest made for Logan and for his naming day we asked people to put things into the chest for him to open when he is 21!! We did the same with Jacey but I had to use my wedding chest cause I didnt think to get an extra one made at the time! Had things like, a newspaper, CDs, alcohol, a ring handed down to him, people wrote things to him and then I put lots of things from his first year in there! So thats an idea for you. Kinda like a time capsule but you just keep it up in the cupboard - it does have a lock on it though.
CarrieB, sorry about your grandparents and Aunty, thats sad :hugs:
Well I'm forever bragging about Jacey sleeping great so thought I should brag about a bad night too!! She woke at 2.20am, stuck dummy in and she get spitting out so was up a few times. Woke at 3.50am so fed her but she only had one boob, woke at 6am!! WTF!! This never happens...... fed her again, back to sleep at 7am and Logan woke at 7.05am!! I was sooo tired!! Just heard her again then...... nooooooooooo

LL and Lana~ how cute, best buddies!
Lana~ Amity looks exactly like you only shes got totally different colouring (or did you have beautiful hair like that too when you were lil?)
I expected her to have dark locks like yours hahahaha shes adorable!
Emma~ Coops and Renae sure do look alike huh:yes: very cute!
Gin~ congrats on the apple p&t hun, its a fab pram to push and very durable perfect for the next lil bubba;) hahahah
BTW i keep meaning to say how different Kes looks in your new ava! His changed heaps as his grown! gorgeous:kiss:
I had to beg Iris to take the second boobie this morning as it had been almost 12 hrs again so they were like rocks and she only wanted one!
She kept smiling at me and licking it (TMI LOL) as if teasing em while I was in pain!!!
She finally took it after ten mins of me coaxing her lol i should have put O on hahahahaha JJ hahahahaha
Cant believe its raining...its been beautiful alllllll week!
S= depressed
Carrie - sorry to hear your bad news :fingerscrossed: everything works out for the best.
Anna - 6 months seems like such a long time ! How do you feel about waiting that long? Also Leah's stats are similar to Chloes its nice to have little sweet ones isnt it.
LT - how is Monty now all over his cold I hope, poor little thing.
Sarah - dont worry about the rain I am sur the photos will be beautiful anyway
Bluegin - great news about the pram, very generous
Emma80, LL and Lana - gorgeous boys you have there and Amity is very cute.

Tazzy there must be something in the air because Chloe did this last night as well!! I had to have a word to her as I am not used to getting up any earlier than 5:30 so the 2:30 wake up almost killed me. She then wouldnt settle so I put her in bed with us but then she woke again at 5am for another feed. By the time I got her back down at 5:30 I didnt bother going back to bed so had a lovely long shower and washed my hair before the other two woke at 6am. Need another coffee!!
Lana- great to hear you sold it! I'm surprised at the postage, that's so cheap!
I'm getting all sad at how fast Kes is growing up, so it's good to hear about the positives like their personality. So cute that Amity is getting a sense of humour, that must be fun.
I had a little laugh when you said you'd just realised you needed to do another half of the teddy body... but only because I've just done the same thing with his long pants! LOL, took me ages to finish, was all excited, then realised I'd only done 1 leg :o
BlueGin you inlaws sounds great.
Even greater because they live interstate, absence makes the heart grow fonder and all that! :p
Taryn, great ideas for the time capsule! I might do that for Kes too, maybe buy a bottle of red wine for it as a bit of an investment too. Sorry to hear about the rough night, let's hope it was a one off hey!
...perfect for some piccies BUT noooooo its pouring!!!
Gin~ congrats on the apple p&t hun, its a fab pram to push and very durable perfect for the next lil bubba;) hahahah
BTW i keep meaning to say how different Kes looks in your new ava! His changed heaps as his grown! gorgeous:kiss:
Thanks mate, he seems to change every day! Getting very brown too, I guess his skin is maturing to its natural colour, when he is feeding and is next to my pale pink boozies he looks like he has been playing in the fake tan, LOL
With the rain, it could be cute to have some pics of O in the rain under an umbrella maybe? Standing on the bridge in the rain could look pretty possibly?
The pram is awesome, though DH gets nervous looking whenever the 'next' baby is mentioned, still a one baby man for the moment, hehe
Gemma- maybe it was a full moon as you both had trouble with your normally good sleepers?
DH tells me Kes was having a cry overnight when I fed him... have to take his word for it, I don't even remember waking up, I do it on auto pilot these days! LOL
Off for a walk to the shops with my shiny new pram!

Lol thanks! My hair was a goldy brown colour when i was Amity's age. I think she is finally starting to look more and more like me (thank god!)
I had a little laugh when you said you'd just realised you needed to do another half of the teddy body... but only because I've just done the same thing with his long pants! LOL, took me ages to finish, was all excited, then realised I'd only done 1 leg :o
 Glad im not the only one then!!! I know, postage was sooo cheap! I was very surprised! At least now i know that for something weighing 11kg it only costs $30 to post to NSW!!!
Sarah - Lol i was going to say that it might stop raining for a little bit but then read your post saying that she had just left! Im glad you were able to get a few in outside. Did u get a photo of O in the mud?? That will look awesome!
Gemma + Taryn - Hopefully your girls' will sleep better for you tonight and it was just a one off!
Amity has started her second day of day care per week today! Its nice, because i dont start work until next week i have all of today with Griffin and unlike my normal day care day, i have NOTHING planned!! YAY!! :banghead: kill me, kill me now
Had the worst hour, both kids tired and crying. Logan has started teething the past two days and boy you can tell in his attitude!! Gosh it is hard going back and fourth from room to room trying to settle. Jacey was OK but Logan....well what a to do!! Only took an hour to get him to sleep and in the end I had to rock him. Anyway peace at last.....
I'm so wishing Luke didnt do an extra shift today!! lucky he didnt have his phone either cause I would've rang him in tears!!!
LOL Sarah, O sure is a monkey! Great that is stopped raining long enough (shots in wet weather are awesome I think, as everything in a garden looks so vibrant!). Lots of fun with the pram, my little sling-lover enjoyed looking around, and slept most of the way! He started crying at the checkout, but when the woman came out to see him from behind the counter (she has been dying to meet him!) and smiled he stopped crying and smiled at her :o what a little showoff I have here!
Lana-let me know if you want a link to an awesome and easy video of casting off, it's how I learned to do it. Though it may be fun visiting your MIL anyway, she sounds great.
It's cool that Amity is starting to look like you, clever little chicken ;)
Shezi- no idea with the popping, though maybe the hole you made (though tiny) would let in more germs? And by the way, there isn't a person on this forum who would acuse YOU of whingeing, I'm sure of that! :hugs:

sharon i think it was seat belt extension.. i didnt end up getting one at the time but i've tracked the guy down so just waiting for a reply. as far as i know he only sold 3 of the 7 he has. i really need one now too coz M definitely needs a H harness.. her shoulders are getting too high for the straps & shes 18kg. i will pass on info as soon as i hear back.
lana which days does amity go to daycare?
also that was really good postage.. was that through a courier?
love all the pics girls.
Are the seat belt extensions you girls are talking about the ones you get that attach to the H harness and then hook onto the anchor point??
Amity is in day care Tuesdays and Fridays now. Nup, no courier, it was just through Australia Post. Cheaper than any courier.

LT- not sure if I posted yesterday (I intended to, but can't remember, LOL) but I got the pattern in the mail! Yay!!! Thanks heaps for that, I have some fleece and bamboo so it's awesome to have the pattern too!
Blugin, I use that pattern for my night nappies cause you can fit lots of stuffing in them. If you want it to be a one size fits all just make the rise slightly longer, but as it is it should last a normal sized baby (unlike a fat toadlet) up to a year old. Have fun!
Also I've allowed 1.5cm seam allowance too.
You and I both have a apple P&T's!! Get the rain cover too!
LOL, the raincover is my fave accessory LT! He looks sooo cosy! I had a nice comment and lots of looks at the colour too, I am such a showoff :o
As for the nappy... my little fatty would prob grow out of it too! But then I get the fun of making more, hehe, that's half the fun!
Have you started on his next size yet, or are you waiting till he is bigger?

Lana-let me know if you want a link to an awesome and easy video of casting off, it's how I learned to do it. Though it may be fun visiting your MIL anyway, she sounds great.
It's cool that Amity is starting to look like you, clever little chicken ;)
Oh that would be GREAT!! I rang my MIL but they are off to their mandurah holiday house for the weekend (their 11yr old is at school camp lol). I thought i was going to have to wait until sunday cos i only bought one set of knitting needles!
Shez - I wouldnt pop them babe!! It would be like popping a blister, not only would they become really sore (if they arent already), they would also be very vulnerable to more infection. I think maybe you should make another appt to see your doc.
Sarah - Yep im going to do one day of work per week. The in-laws have a building company and MIL has asked me to do the paperwork/accounts side of things so that she has some spare time etc. Thats why Amity is in day care on fridays now.
ETA: Gin - i just realised that even though our original dates were only 11 days apart, Griffin is like 1 month and 11 days older than Kes! I saw your Avatar and thought "huh!? Only 7 weeks!?" Hehehe
Are the seat belt extensions you girls are talking about the ones you get that attach to the H harness and then hook onto the anchor point??
nope.. it clips into the seatbelt buckle.. im getting one so it'll be easier to strap mikaelah in coz our back seat is full  too hard to get my hand between the seats to do up the buckle..
thanx bluegin you're a sweetie:hugs: i must make myself out to be better on here than i am in person
yous girls are getting me thinking of the p&t again! eek i must be good.. i must be good..
lana is there any chance we could do the meet a day that amity is home? even a weekend is fine by me if it suits everyone else.. also thats so good about aus post. not like them to send big items.. p&t must be fairly compact.

Hello!
E has finally gone down for a sleep - she had a bottle an hour ago & has been so overtired but was fighting it as per usual but I just gave her another bottle & she drank only 40ml then passed out! That would be the beauty of breastfeeding - knowing they always get what they want (most of the time) & you don't have to make a whole bottle for them to only want 40ml.
Thanks for all the hugs girls - you always make me feel better!
Sarah - O sounds adorable! I agree with Gin & think the outdoor pics will look fab in the rain!
Shezi - E is the same as A & thinks as soon as the sun comes up it's party time! Lol. I just take her back to bed & she sleeps but the overcast & rainy weather has been great as she stays asleep in her cot for longer.
Gemma & (I forget who else had a bad night last night?) - well E was the same lol. What is in the air? I took her into bed with me at some stage cos I was so sick of walking into the next room every 2 secs to put in dummy!!! She has taken to having her good night time sleep from about 6 to 11pm. Grr.
LT - I might try water instead of dummy ... hope it works!
Lana & LL - Great photos! They're gonna be good mates!
Emma - Cooper is such a beautiful Chubba Bubba! Can't wait to meet him!
Sharon - We didn't have the meet.
I saw your post so what about Thursday 31 May? I will pm you, Emma, Nic, Kirsty, Jaimie after this.
Tazzy I will pm you my email address too. We want to have it down at the Point in the big park there (on the water) - wuold we have to ask the Council too? For the cake I want to have a fruit cake with the white fondent icing in a square with rounded corners with a pink & a yellow frangipani (of course!) & Ella Rose written in pale pink running writing. I'll have to ask a bakery or something about prices.
I love the time capsule Idea & will prob steal it!
How did you write in the invitations about doing that? I made up a poem on our wedding invites about ppl paying for themselves to come up ... it's quite good if I do say so myself!
Also, do you think Woollies platters are cheaper than putting a bbq on?
Some girls are having a BH meet at the Point for morning tea this coming Wednesday at 11am. If anyone from Brisbane is interested in coming with me it'd be good to see you? Let me know.
Have a good day!

Shez - Yeah we can make the meet when Amity is home, so either a Monday (after 10 cos of dancing) or a Thursday. Im just worried about her stepping on the babies lol! Maybe we can just open the back door and let the bigger kiddies play outside (although i dont have any grass!)
Those Seat belt things sound like a good idea. Bet a mum thought of that!

LOL, I almost bought another pair in a size I've already got too... but it's because I'm sick of working in the grey wool and want to start on my awesome rainbow wool :o but I'm being good now and I'll finish the grey first... otherwise he'll never get his pants!
Here's the link http://www.knittinghelp.com/knitting/basic_techniques/bind-off.php
It is the site where I've learned everything I know about knitting, I use the blue videos as that's basic knitting, the pink one is for Continental/European style
I was thinking the same thing too about Kes's age, he seems so young sometimes compared to all your babies, but wasn't due late at all (I never thought he'd be the last one!!)
thanx bluegin you're a sweetie i must make myself out to be better on here than i am in person

Hehehe, yeah, it's an attractive pram, I just discovered there is an elasticised bit in the basket for your wallet, awesome! But it didn't work well for Lana, so maybe she can help discourage you! LOL
Oh, and I'll bet you're really a super meany Mum aren't you! LOL, I highly doubt it with those 3 smiling cherubs of yours :p
That would be the beauty of breastfeeding - knowing they always get what they want (most of the time) & you don't have to make a whole bottle for them to only want 40ml.
I freely admit that I breastfeed because I'm lazy, and use cloth nappies because I'm cheap! ;)
That cake idea sounds lovely by the way, it should be a beautiful day.
I freely admit that I breastfeed because I'm lazy, and use cloth nappies because I'm cheap! ;)
  i was getting frustrated yesterday coz A was feeding every hour all day long! chris said why dont you just put her on a bottle.. so i said when he is prepared to get out of bed two or three times a night to make her bottle then spend how ever long it takes to feed her the bottle THEN i will bottle feed her. lol. i breastfeed coz its easy(well its not for everyone but it has been for me) & convenient.. i am WAY too lazy to bottle feed! i am thinking of expressing one feed before bed but with the way she feeds lately my boobs are never full enough to get a bottles worth out.. not unless i expressed during night feeds but i would rather sleep

i just went up to my work to show off Harper and drop off my overdue (oops!) books. all the ladies just loved him :)
What does you DH do? Is he away a lot? Sorry you have probably said before but I have forgotten. My hubby is away for days at a time and whlie he has been home for the last two months :smiliedance: it is also kinda good to see him go again after so long at home. Still looking forward to him being home on Tuesday though.
he's a metallurgist on a mine up north. he does one week on and one week off but he's just resigned from there, last day is june 5th. he had a phone interview last week and going for a site visit next thurs for a new job! but he's told them he will start in july coz he wants to have time off to spend with us and my 30th, sister's 18th and dad's 60th are all within 17 days! (my brother's girlfriends bday is in there too, he will be broke next month lol)

I know! You were due right in the middle of everyone... and you poor thing, you had to sit there while everybody over took you!
 I too breastfeed because im lazy! After bottle feeding Amity i know only too well how much is involved with it! I use sposies cos im lazy too though! I told Sam that if he wants to clean the poo off the cloth nappies and wash t hem etc THEN i will use them but not before... Needless to say, he was more than happy with me using sposies hehehe!

 No worries! My old fridge used to be like that... Is it on too cold maybe?? Otherwise, i know you're not meant to BUT i quite often leave mine out on the sink for a bit until it is about half unfrozen, then i will put it in the slow cooker like that. You need to leave it in there for longer though. OR you can run some hot water in the sink and sit it in there to help defrost it...

Hey Ladies,
I am trying to upload some pics of Madi, but it's not happening. Don't know why I can't do it. I did manage to put a pic of her in my avator thingy if you can see it.
Carrie, I got your post. Would love to meet up next week. I want to do some scrapbooking too. I have a new book for Madi that I want to start. Everyone can come to my house, although it's far away, if not I am willing to come to your house Carrie? I need to get out, I am going bonkers at home.
Yummo, Lana your dinner sounds lush! Can you cook a roast in the slow cooker? How long for? I wanna give that a go, I love my slow cooker.

You sure can!! Just put it in (i spray a little bit of oil spray on the base of the slow cooker to stop it from sticking). I usually put mine on for around 8 hours on low. It really depends on the weight of it though. You can always put it on for around 6 - 8 hours on auto. (im guessing yours would be roughly the same size as ours - for 2 people)
ETA: Sheree - Im happy to go where-ever. If we do have it at your house we are able to consider the Tuesday as well. (you wanted to have Amity there if it was at someone elses house yeah?)

I think he is finally down now though I don't know for how long. This last feed was a little better so hopefully the next one will good and then he will be so tired he will sleep till morning???

Thanks Lana, when I go shopping this week I will get a nice roast and give it a go! mmmmm
Well I wish I could have stuck with bf, I would have loved to have continued with it. Making bottles is easy for me it's just the sterilizing part that takes forever oh and the formula sticking to you when you try to scoop it out of the tin. Next time I will be trying really hard to prepare myself to bf and stick with it!
Carrie, yeah that sounds good to me, sounds like you have heaps of stuff maybe we should come to your house if that's ok with you. Then we can get crafty and if no one wants to do scrapbooking we can still all chat too! Maybe we bring something over and have morning tea?
Madi has been playing up so bad the last couple of days, she is continually screaming and refuses to be put down she wants to sleep on me during the day. I hope it's just a growth spurt and not a new habit, I am getting really tired and a sore back from swaying her and patting her to sleep all day. Are they meant to be awake for most of the day? I am so looking forward to her sleeping all night, just to prepare me for the day time with her.
Well I better get some sleep now while she is even though DH is looking after her tonight, every Fri and Sat night's he does the night shift with her and feeds her and puts her back to sleep....bliss!
R&MM - oh that does sounds so cute, smiling at you! Nice shower will do the trick, I just had one and it was sooo good!
Just a quick one- sorry I wasn't online when you asked about the final stitch Lana, but you're right anyway! LOL, that's how I finish it too.
And Nic, Madi is adorable! Can't wait for you to be able to post more, been waiting for ages! hehe

If its any consolation, i found it MUCH easier to breastfeed second time round. I only breastfed Amity for 2.5 weeks before it got too much for me. But i am thoroughly enjoying it with Griffin! There is hope!
Gin - No worries hun! I thought thats what you did but wanted to make sure, I ended up ringing my mum to double check lol.
Picked Amity up from day care and she was so knackered! She was throwing a tantrum because she wanted more milk. I told her that she could have some milk BUT she had to stop crying first. When she finally realised that i wasnt going to back down she stopped. She is now in bed. Aaaahhhh

Christening Of
Anais Vivienne Romeo
3rd June 2007
"Let the little children come to me, and do not hinder them, for the kingdom of heaven belongs to such as these".
Then he took the children in his arms, placed his hands on each of them, and blessed them... Let us pray.
Dear Lord, as we gather here , may your Holy Spirit surround us and rejuvenate us. We pray that out of your glorious riches, you may strengthen this child with your Spirit, so that Christ may dwell in his heart though faith. And we pray that this child, being rooted and established in love, may know the love of God that surpasses all knowledge, so that he may be filled to the measure with the fullness of God. Amen.
Introduction and welcome - Father Tony Banks
Naming of the child - Anais Vivienne Romeo
We give our child the middle name of someone who has supported, loved and cared for us both, and all of those around us, unconditionally.
We hope that Anais is a gentle loving soul like her Grandma.
Blessing the waters of baptism
Prayer - Don Walker - Grandfather
Heavenly Father, we praise you for this childs birth - surround her with your blessings that she may know your love, be protected from evil, and know your goodness all her days. May she learn to love all that is true, grow in wisdom and strength and, come through faith to the fullness of your Grace.
May God the Father of all bless these parents and godparents and give them grace to love and care for their child. May God give them wisdom, patience and faith, and help them to provide for this beloved childs needs.
Eternal Father, we thank you for the rich variety of the families you have created for us, and for the relationships which we see and enjoy within them. Help us to respect and learn from each other.
We thank you too for love that binds the families that are here today, and ask your blessing on them. Heavenly Father, bless the home of this child, may it provide shelter, warmth and security to the family and to all those who visit.
All this we ask in Jesus's name, Amen.
Baptisimal Promises
Prayer - Frank Romeo
For the gift of a child, Anais Vivienne whose innocence and laughter keep the world young, we rejoice and give thanks.
May this new life, which we have accepted into our community of ideals and friendship, receive abundantly the blessings of health, love, knowledge, and wisdom, and in her turn give back richly to the common heritage that endures from generation to generation.
And for the gift of parenthood made to Mark and Catherine we also give our thanks.
May they and all parents everywhere give their children security, freedom and love, and may they be blessed with much joy, much laughter and much patience in the divine task of nurture.
Amen

Zara White – Godmother
Greatest Gift
I awake to my beating heart
You save my soul from falling apart
Say goodbye I'm leaving the race
How I long for your embrace
How long did it take me to find?
So close I won't be left behind
I believe and to you I confess I gave up on me
But you showed me happiness
Your love is the greatest gift I could hope to receive
I'm on my way to being so complete
I'd make no change to a perfect idea
Your love is the greatest gift I have ever seen
I found was missing inside
No longer does this girl need to hide
Lay me down that I may be strong
'Cause together is surely where we belong
Nightly I pray, no harm befalls you
Needless to say, it's all I can do
Your every desire I promise no less
It's true I can say, because of you I've found happiness
Prayer

Mark's Gospel (Mark 10:13-15)
They brought children for Jesus to touch. The disciples rebuked them, but when Jesus saw them he was indignant and said to them, "Let the children come to me; do not try to stop them; for the kingdom of God belongs to such as these. I tell you, whoever does not accept the kingdom of God like a child will never enter it." And he put his arms round them, and blessed them.
Blessing of the mouth and ears of Anais Vivienne.

Boy, Im so happy
We have been heaven blessed
I cant believe what God has done
Through us hes given life to one
But isnt she lovely made from love
Isnt she lovely
Life and love are the same
Anais is flowers
The meaning of her name
Mark and Caithi, it could have not been done
Without you who conceived the one
Thats so very lovely made from love

Wow Caithi !!! Just love the charm.
BlueGin - you are very observant. I was thinking just how pretty Anais name looked expecially with the little kiss (x) at the end. I had to go back to see the double dots..... love them!
I haven't seen them before. How big is it? I am assuming probably 2cm or so given the size of the print?
OMG - look at the time. I've got to feed Matthew and get off to bed. Got stuck into the banking on the computer and lost track of time. Oops!
width - 2.2 cms - at widest point
length 2.6 cm
By the way.....
Marks family thinks the double dots look pretentious (sp?) so Im putting them on absolutely everything! lol:laughing:

Pretentious?? WTF... Yeah YOU GO GIRL! (Love the prints and the two dots! )
Oh and hi everyone :D.
I can't remember who mentioned the trials and tribulations (sp??) of formula prep, but yes MY god its annoying how it sticks to your fingers! The bench, oh and you know what else gets to me.. say you need 75mls of formula.. where is the half measure?? Hmmmm come on formula companies...LOL I also agree the washing and sterilising is getting boring.. damn my boobies!:ecomcity: Oooops *gets off sarcastic soap box*
Forgot to say that my bleeding has definately Gone. WOOOO HOOOZ but now i have thrush thanks to two diff types of Antibiotics.. and i gave Dp jock itch... ROFL suffer! This is when we BD before i discovered i had thrush. Oooops. I like to share LOL.:devil6:
Antonio is growing eating, farting, pooing and smiling well, he tried to laugh yesterday or giggle i suppose.. now that was hilarious. His sleeping is still needing a fine tune but he isn't as bad as he used to be.
He slept with me the other night and slept thru til 9am from about 10pm is h (best yet).. and i got woken uo by him punching me in the face - charming! LOL

carrie hehe bambaloo.(im usually stuck with the ba ba ba bambaloo theme song in my head for hours! lol) cant wait to see the pages.
my parents have a slowcooker.. really really nice beef stews yum!
Hehe me too! No-one believes Ella likes Bambaloo but when it was on (fairies took it's place!) she'd always turn straight to the tv when the song came on & smiled when I sang it (constantly!) throughout the day!
You know how on Legally Blonde they do the "bend & snap"? Well on the Fairies the other day (i don't watch I was listening while doing housework!) they did the "bend & stretch" with the same rythem - beeend & stretch! OMG that is so bad!

Morning!
Ok that sounded cheerier than what I really am ...
WTF is with Ella this week just refusing to sleep all day & all night??? I can even handle her waking up every 3 hours during the night & going straight back to sleep after a dummy or a pat or whatever but all this week she has just kept winging for me to go back in as she is so tired & jerky she keeps dropping her dummy & pulling it out by accident! She gets jerky when she's overtired ...
Everytime I lie down again she cries out 'naaahh naaahh' (prob why my SIL & niece ended up calling her dummy her NahNah) which is for her dummy.
Oh & I hear ya re the bottles although i find they don't take that long to prepare. I pour the boiled water in them, add the Infacol drops & let them stand at room temp & now microwave them (heaps quicker!) when I want them & I have 2 formula containers which i just pour into the bottle - gr8 when she is screaming for it :)
Anyway I think she has been wanting more than the 180ml plus formula cos last night i made an extra bottle when she had one at 8pm cos she was looking for more. She only drank another 30ml or something but it made her sleep. She woke exactly 3 hours later at 11pm & thought I'd try her on another bottle so she sleeps & she drank only about 60ml or something like that & was awake from about 1am to 4am!!!!!!! I didn't take her into bed with me cos I'm sick of waking with a dead arm & didn't wanna kick DH out of bed.
So anyway I went & made her another bottle at 2am hoping it'd settle her & make her sleep & went to get her & she'd fallen asleep! I got her up to have it but then she sat there talking & smiling to her friend - the ceiling fan,lol - then giving me cheeky looks then doing poohs then I had to change her & she still didn't want the rest - she'd act as if she wanted it, I'd put it in her mouth, she'd smile then spit it at me!!! Grr .... Don't you HATE that they're too cute!!!
So I thought well at least she'll prob want another bottle before I get up at 5am to take DH to work so I can have the car today but no, she decided to sleep soundly then & didn't wake til I got her out of the car when we got home! She seems happy I stayed up though - still sitting in her bouncer talking to the toys & computer screen & wasn't even crying for a bottle when we got home.
I really don't know how she has been surviving on less than 6 hours sleep a day!
Somehow we manage ... In the old days - BC (Before Child) - even when she slept from 8.30 to 5.30 wouldn't have been enough sleep for me lol.
Nic you are lucky your DH does Friday & sat nights - when my dh says he will I still have to wake him up then half the time he says he is 'too tired(!)' so I do it anyway & i get so mad then he doesn't even remember the nxt day!
CAITHI - Gorgeous ceremony!!!
BRISBANE - I have pm'd you back. Looks like next Thurs 31 May it is. Waiting on final details from Emma :)
Look fwd to it.
SORRY FOR THE LONG 'ME' POST. Needed to vent ...

Very cute small print!!
CarrieB, I have some info coming in the post about the smallprint franchise - will let you know the cost OK!! I'm still looking into the InkyFeet franchise and have infor coming for that too. I ahve been emailing Brenda with lots of questions too. I just feel like a franchise would be so much easier than starting a business from scratch - I just dont have the time to do all of that research!
Grrr bloody motorbikes - hate them with a passion!! Some idiot was riding one (sounded like a dirt bike) - full throttle at midnight and woke both the kids. I was SOOO cranky, if I knew who it was I would've went knocking at their door. Anyway I will put a whinge in the local paper about it. No respect I tell you!! I dont mind when they gently ride past streets but when they hoon it!! And our dogs hate them too which makes it worse. Plus the block we are looking at building on has one next door - not fun!!! Sorry for my whinge! So after sticking Jacey's dummy in she woke at 3am and I was too tired to do the dummy thing so just fed her and she woke at 7am - still dont know what has gotten into my sleeping angel!! Maybe a growth spurt :fingerscrossed:

those damn fairies:laughing: its amazing how becoming a mum you actually realise what goes on on those shows.. after 3&1/2yrs of kids shows i am WAY over them.. not that i have a choice.. if the tv is on at any point the kids want hi5 or boobah(so flippin annoying! dont even buy the dvd! lol) oh and this is when the kids arent even in the room. they need to know its on then theyll go play out the back. needless to say i have the tv off heaps..
gorgeous print caithi.. love the two dots. it looks classy i reckon. stuff marks family.. how can they be so rude & about everything.:shame: damn picky people!!
love the idea for your mum too.. my mum would love that! very thoughtful gift.
well antibiotics are officially over today. looks like im back to the drs i think coz it hasnt cleared up but i do feel better.. might get them to pop it and bandage it or something.. and the marks up my arm have faded to bruises.. some from what M2B was saying i think thats a good sign

Caithi- awesome sleep! You must have some sleep credits owing to you from her earlier weeks ;)
Carrie-sorry to hear Ella is unsettled, but she's always been a good sleeper so let's hope it's just a growth spurt eh? :fingerscrossed: Same to you Taryn, I'm sure Jacey will go back to sleeping well.
Kes slept well, but had a horrid screeching morning, I thought at first I'd broken something while dressing him, or caught him in a zipper, but he simply wanted his dummy... once he got that he was out like a light, phew! He is getting better at keeping it in too, once he is in deep sleep, but still spits it out constantly then cries for it during the day. But I do love it when it falls out because he is grinning at me, that's classic :p

we got 59 pics of the kids for $60 on a cd
then we went to rabbit photo and got 150 pics developed almost three sets of all the pics for $28
and the canvas is 12x18 and is going to cost $59 coz im a gold member so pretty cheap
and yeah iris has HUGE footsies, i think she'll need size 11 high heels ahahahahaha poor gal!
sarah they are gorgeous pics! i wish my girls had that much hair at Iris's age!! beautiful! that last one of orlando looks very cheeky hehe.
who ended up doing them? i can never find photographers that let me get prints done through rabbit.. its always so expensive to go through the actual people.. very annoying..
once the girls are at school i think im going to do a photography class at tafe. it'd be great i reckon
well my kids are being monsters today.. M emptied a j&j baby powder bottle all over my rocking chair in D's room while i was feeding bub in the lounge.. nice eh. im sick of the attention seeking behavior.. thought she wouldve been over it by now. obviously not. i think A has a cold.. very snotty.. and D is extremely clingy.. she has been the last few days.. i think its just the age tho. i always have atleast one of them in my arms.
gotta go.. sooking has started..
Orlando and Iris are both SO gorgeous! i love the dark dark eyes and Iris' hair is just lovely. beautiful kids...
NAMING DAYS - for the non-religious, any ideas of what to call the "god parent"? i've heard: mentor, guardian, guide but i'd like something better! might look on the net at pagan type ceremonies...

Carrie and Brissy Girls, for me to get to the North side it's going to take over an hour to drive even on the gateway as my friend lives near there. I will have to play it by ear and see how Madi is going that day as I am thinking she will not last in the car that long. Even if I can't come I will try and make the next meet for sure!
Caithi, I love the smallprint charm, it is soooo cute! And your service is just lovely!
Tazzy, not sure if I already thanked you, but thanks so much for emailing me your service it is such a great help, and a lovely service too! I am going to look for dresses at pumpkin patch this week too!

WARNING VENT AHEAD!
Well my Dp can go get ****** he basically just admitted he doesn't want Antonio, and that he hates kids WTF?(apparently that is how i interpreted his comment " i do love him but i never liked kids" sorry but is there any other way to interpret this? (Before we had Antonio he was all for it, i even gave him plenty of time to see if it was what he really wanted, i also offered in may ocassions if it wasn't he is free to leave - im not holding him here... yet he claims he loves us, and doesn't want to leave).
How it started:
I told him its Mum's 50th this coming Wednesday, so myself , her sis and her mum are all going out for dinner, and a limo ride, and after dinner staying at a hotel overnight, i said i would be home early Thursday morning.
What do i get:
"What your leaving a newborn alone already"?
"No he is not a newborn he is almost 3 months old, and im going out for mums birthday, not a **** up with the girls at a sleazy nightclub!"(for example)
Then it progressed into me telling him that he never looks after his son when im here anyway it's always an effort with him...so what a surprise that he cant be ****** looking after him for 1 measly night.
Then i get after i said you don't spend much time with him or play with him either... i get "well i hate kids, my mum left my brother alone at his age, mums are the ones to entertain babies" etc etc... EXCUUUUUUUSE ME?
Ok so i get that he has "issues" relating to his mum when he was younger.. but HOW DARE HE accuse me of abandoning OUR son? It's my mums birthday ffs, its her 50th , its nothing huge she doesn't like a lot of fuss. He doesn't like family gatherings , (mine or his) so the only option was for me to go out. Or am i wrong?
What now im sposed to tell mum , sorry but Pete cant be fkd looking after HIS son, nor can he bothered doing anything with us, nor can he allow me to go out. So i cant come, sorry!
:gloomy:
Then he is all grumpy and sulky and in bed now, and states carry on, i'll leave... insert more arguing... so i said fine leave your just a waste of fn space anyway. (Which when i really think about it, he is).
So you dont want your son , its too much like hard work is it.. FINE **** OFF THEN see i if care.
Im so sick of meeting d!ckheads, am i cursed coz my dad was one of the aforementioned ****** a'hole types? I really though Dp was the one, but lately his just getting on my nerves and really ****ing me off! Apparently he is depressed? Ummm why? Ok so if he is, get help, dont take it out on me.
I know a lot of it stems from his past, he does need some kind of help to sort out these issues, but if he keeps on like this and he doesn't leave like he just threatened to do, then i dunno what to do.
All this because i love my mum and want to help her celebrate her 50th as well as have 1 measly ****** night off!
Oh Aqua, :hugs: i'm so sorry, I dont know what to say about your dp, but you are certainly entitled to a night off. And that is not classed as abandoning your son. I was invited to go to Byron Bay this weekend with my sisters but I couldn't go only cos Dh had to work tonight and tomorrow and his foster mum was away.
Is there anyway you could take Antonio with you? I know Pete should be the one steping up and giving you a night off but if you could take Antonio with you at least you could still go. Or other relos might be able to look after him?
AD :hugs: :hugs:
sorry to hear your dp is acting like that. if he is depressed or needs to sort out his issues, he should see a counsellor or doctor, not be nasty to you! i hope you can still celebrate with your mum. remember we are all here for you. hopefully he wakes up tomorrow and apologises!
(ps - my DH is still in the bad books over my cr&ppy mothers day lol...)

awww AD im sorry your going through this!
At least his admitting his depressed and has issues, thats a big step in the right direction.
I know when i suffered from pnd I would sway from ranting and raving at dh to crying over nothing then back to ranting lol
poor dh had no idea what to do, must have been very hard on him BUT in my darkness i was oblivious to everyone else
I hope you get through this hun and it makes your r'ship stronger:hugs:
AD - how was Pete this morning? i hope he apologised... :(
sigghhhh, went to a party last night, got home about 10.30 but the little man was all awake and didnt go to bed til midnight! slept til 6 which was nice and then i gave him the dummy and got another 45 minutes. was hoping he'd go back down straight away but no such luck... so i've put the heater on, H playing on his mat (laughing to the toys, so cute). he usually has a 30-50 minute nap soon so i am looking forward to another quick snooze!
today is Isabel's christening (one of my best friends bub, 6 weeks older than Harps). i'll take some photos to show you all. bet she has a gorgeous little dress! i have a cute top for H to wear, was given to me by my stepmum when we found out H was a boy (in Oct!), havent had a chance to put it on him yet. its a little collared PP shirt, so sweet :D (i think i will put another top on him til we get to the church and then quickly stick this one on so there's less chance of it getting puked on!)

:hugs: AD, really hope he realises what he has said and appologises to you. I dont really know what else to say but if he had such a bad relationship with his mum you would think he would want more for his son. As my DH always says "he wants to be the father that his father never was" - even though he has GREAT relationship with his dad he just thinks that there are things that his dad did or acted that he would never do. I think that is a great approach.
My SIL's husband left her when their bub was 6 weeks old cause he just wasnt ready - even though it was very much planned. He also told her that he wasnt attracted to her anymore  now that was a mistake to your wife who had not long given birth to your child!! He did realise what he wanted but it was too late - she had moved on! And that was 2.5 yrs ago and he still would love his fmaily back but she could never forgive him for walking out on them! I dont really understand what he thought parenthood/marriage was going to be like!! But I do know that his mum is a weirdo and his parents divorced when he was young!
You dont have to put up with it - you deserve better and a lot more appreciation and support for being a good mother. If it was me I wouldnt bother him again about the night off - I would just take your son along and not even tell him you are going or anything. See how lonely he feels without you both there!
I just hope he was in a bad mood and makes up for it today. :hugs:

AD, that sucks big time.
You should give him a slap around the face and tell him how damn lucky he is to have a perfect little baby and a wife that loves him. If he doesnt start to appreciate what he has the he can go grow up somewhere else.
My DP isn't crazy about babies either but still looks after the rodent as much as I do on the weekends and on week days when I want to go climbing. He's fantastic with Monty and does just about as much house work as I do.
It's unhealthy I think for both the mum and baby to be together ALL the time, both of you need a break from each other too. You aren't JUST as mum now that Antonio is here.
Do you have a friend that can take care of Antonio for your mums 50th? Or a teenage relative that can watch him if you take him to your mums?
Has Jaimie been online lately? She appears missing in action.
M2B, Madi is looking very cute and cuddly.
Caithi.. how are you feelig now? Any better?
Sarah. O looks adorable.. and mischeivious. Iris and him are very similar.
Bluegin, I'll make some more nappies in about 2 months I think. I need to concentrate on my business , very busy at the moment. Got to finish and item for the MCN swap.. it's taken about 15 hours so far. Still about 3 hours of hand sewing to go still.. by tomorrow!
Does anyone elses baby get very hpt? Toadlet is always really warm, yesterday he was soaked through just wearing a t shirt while sleeping. It's hard to judge if he's going to be too hot or cold.
He upped his sleeping record last night to 8 hours!! YEAH! The did another 3 hours ten minutes.
Heaps of work to do today , DP is doing lots of toadlet shifts so I can get it done. Then we have our first Rodent free date together (mothers day pressy for me).

Frog has taken the toadlet out in the pouch (facing forward) to do the grocvery shopping while I work.
I told him to be prepared for lots of smiles!
Amazing how many people smile at you when the baby is facing forward.
AD.. Has your DP looked after Antonia at all by himself? Frog said he may be scared if it is his first time. Especially overnight. Perhaps give him a practice run for a couple of hours.

Good morning.
Guess what? After Ella screaming all day again yesterday, not drinking her bottle during the day (at Carindale again - how embarrassing - what is it with Carindale?) she slept all night anyway .I have never seen a baby with bags under their eyes! I was so tired I could barely walk last night. When E woke at midnight (went to bed around 7.30pm) I put her dummy in, made a bottle, came back & she was out of it again! So i put the bottle in the fridge. She woke up about every couple of hours & when I put dummy in she'd fall asleep again!!! :yelclap:
I got her some gorgeous things on sale at Carindale yesterday (woops ...) :shame: 3 pairs of tights, some long rainbow socks, a floral baby doll dress/top with matching pants & hat (wearing pants & dress today), 2 pairs of leggings, denim dress with long sleeve cream shirt, (both dresses were $10 + off) and a bath toy which she played with in the bath for an hour yesterday!
It lasts from birth to toddler  . It's amobile thing with a mirror in the middle & detachable toys too but doesn't clip on our stupid bath cos of the rail for the sliding shower door! So needless to say I had a sore arm ... She loved it though & had to top up the bath 3 times with warm water! She has a big bath now & lies on a towel.
Also got her a purple & pink Bonds hoodie, pink Bonds pants and wanted the matching purple trackies & purple, pink & grey striped beannie but they didn't have the set in B&L so went to Big W & they didn't have it either so bought the jumper & went back for the beannie at B&L and they'd sold out!!! Will have to get one next time!
Thats an excellent idea. If you ned a silent financial partner i would def be interested!
Where did you get the ella personalised rhymes book?
Congrats NaiNai for sleeping til 9.30am!!!
I'd luv to do the franchise but I have 0 dollars!!!
It is a personalised nursery rhymes CD and my aunty apparently bought it from the newsage nt (Nextra). When i go home later (at mum's now) I could look up the company & give the name to you & you could enquire with them?
I could never get stuff with my name on it, still can't, but when we went o/s to the USA when I was about 2 yrs old (had my 2nd b'day in DisneyLand!) I got things over there like stickers cos it is an American name.
those damn fairies its amazing how becoming a mum you actually realise what goes on on those shows.. after 3&1/2yrs of kids shows i am WAY over them.. not that i have a choice.. if the tv is on at any point the kids want hi5 or boobah(so flippin annoying! dont even buy the dvd! lol) oh and this is when the kids arent even in the room. they need to know its on then theyll go play out the back. needless to say i have the tv off heaps..
Lol mum said Boobah's terrible!!! I luv Bambaloo!
sarah they are gorgeous pics! i wish my girls had that much hair at Iris's age!! beautiful! that last one of orlando looks very cheeky hehe.
once the girls are at school i think im going to do a photography class at tafe. it'd be great i reckon
Yes Sarah the pics are fantastic (!!!) & they were so cheap t get developed! I spent $194 on developing 240 photos (doubles) at HN & I bought a $15 discount card as it worked out cheaper lol. I want the canvas done too, the small one with one of our 'trixie fotos' we took. With the discount card it lasts 12 months i think & get discount on all photo lab stuff & it is 30 or 50% off the canvas's! To start with tho the smallest is still $99 ...
NAMING DAYS - for the non-religious, any ideas of what to call the "god parent"? i've heard: mentor, guardian, guide but i'd like something better! might look on the net at pagan type ceremonies...
We are still having godparents. I think I may incorporate some religious stuff? Not sure.
I am going to look for dresses at pumpkin patch this week too!
I like the idea of franchises, given me an idea to look into it now so I don't have to go back to work in August. I am excited about the idea! Maybe we should - Tazzy, Carrie and I open a QLD branch! hehe
That's ok. Doesn't Madi sleep in the car? Ella loves it & slept the whole 3 & 1/2 hours to Kingaroy then the same on the way back! It also takes abiout 45 mins to get to northside. I always just leave after E's bottle or before she's due for the next one
I looked in PP yesterday for dresses after seeing Jacey's! I am obsessed with bum covers lol. They had NO dresses with bum covers tho! I have asked mum to look thru her patterns to make me some as I only have pink & her rainbow socks just don't go! Lol. I want some red ones, green blue purple & yellow ones.
Yay she found some. Size 1 but I bought some 00's she wears now to try.Lol 0.35 of a meter material! haha.
Would luv to do the franchise nic but no money lol.
SORRY FOR THE MAMMOTH POST!!!
Hope everyone has a Beautiful Sunday!

Iris finally fits into her Tippy toe socks the ones that look like shes wearing Mary Janes...will post a pic soon.
Just logged onto brewtopia and designed a champagne label with a pic of Iris on it for her christening, was going to just buy one each for the god parents BUT found out you have to buy a case so looks like the immediate family will get one also
They are soooooo cute!!!!
Will post a pic later lol

Nemosmum - love the pics! Especially the last two of O in the first lot you showed us (the dirty hand and the cheeky sideways grin from O).
Shezi - THanks for the link to the seat belt thingy - I too have ordered one. Can't wait for it to arrive. Have just put a rubber band around them for now to hopefully keep Ryan's in place so we can find it more easily. Hope that M starts to settle down for you - Ryan was a right little sh1t but only for the first few weeks, nothing like what M is doing. Good luck there.
Caithi - congrats on nai nai's sleep. Sooooo jealous!
M2B - If you like you could aim to stop at my place (At Edenbrooke, just off the centenary highway) if you would like a half-way point. You might be surprised though. We have done a trip out to my parents at Chinchilla (nearly 4 hrs away) and I find little Matthew travels really well. I just aim to leave straight after a feed and try to get a good burp so little chance of wind. Then I just get prepared with some loud music to drown out the yelling if it comes to the worst. ;) Anyway - the offer is there if you want to take it.
AD :hugs:. I don't really know what to say that could help but my thoughts are with you. Big hugs girl.
LT - supermum. :D Great to hear your business is doing so well and that your DH is so supportive.
Re toadlet getting hot - do you have him on a waterproof underlay? Matthew does seem to get quite hot and I know it depends what kind of surface he is sleeping on. Recently we stayed at my brothers place and Matthew slept in their cot.... it had a waterproof underlay under the sheet and the poor little guy ended up drenched in sweat. I had to put a towel under the sheet which seemed to help a bit. At home I have him sleeping on a nice fluffy woollen underaly in his cot with just a sheet on top of it (ie no protector on top of the wool). To bad if it gets messy I'll just throw it in the wash. At least he doesn't seem to end up too hot.
Well me and the kids are off to a tupperware part this arvo at BILs place. :fingerscrossed: they behave.

AD - :hugs: I hope you guys are able to talk it through. I agree with LT's Frog though, if he hasnt looked after Antonio on his own before maybe he is scared but doesnt want to say it. :fingerscrossed: it all gets sorted out.
For you gals with little girls, I know what you mean about loving bum covers!! I have the cutest outfit from when Amity was little. My MIL bought it for her but she only got to wear it a couple of times, its practically still new lol. Too bad i cant pass Griffin off as a girl to get some more wear out of it!!
Sharon - Enjoy your Tupperware party!
Carrie - Yay for Ella sleeping!!
Sarah - The champagne label is such a great idea!!
Amity is being horrible today. She isnt well (had a slight fever last night) so i know i should be more sympathetic but OMG she is just driving me nuts! All i want to do is lay on the couch but she refuses to let me! :banghead: I've tried getting her to lay with me but she cant just sit still for 5 mins...
She has a cough that she has had since she was 6 months old and ALL the doctors tell me its nothing. I think its Asthma though cos i had it really bad as a kid and her 'donor' still has it really bad. It is always there and flares up when she runs around or gets sick. I might take her to my new doctor and ask for a referral to a paed.

Mum2R&M... ou could be right actually.
BOth his basinet and cot have a waterproof sheet on, his matress also has a waterproof side and a non waterproof side.
I just took off the sheet and flipped it to the non waterproof side.
He does always seam to be sweaty on his back.
He kicks and cries and just makes himself hotter.
Lets see how this goes!
Thanks R&MM, I will see what kind of mood Madi is in this week and let you know the day before if we can make it, it's a lovely offer. Carrie, I have never driven over an hour with Madi in the car so don't know how she will go, all I know is the last few car rides she has started cracking it big time and it's a really long drive from the Gold Coast to the otherside of Brissy - with my 4WD it will cost a fair bit in petrol too. But I will see how things go this week, I am sure there is always a next time for us to meet everyone if we can't make it.
I have started doing some research into franchises with DH and we are all for it, except all the good baby business are already taken in my area. There is a shopping centre opening down the road and DH suggest we open a cafe or take away shop, so we are going to have a look into that idea too. I really want to get into something to do with babies/kids though!
AD - huge :hugs: for you! I hope you guys can sort something out, it sounds like a very hard situation to be in. Thinking of you and Antonio!
Carrie, that's great news that E slept through the whole night, she must of been so tired! All the clothes sounds so cute too! I went into PP today and tried to find some nice dresses but there were none :(
LT, wow that is very brave of your DH to take toadlet out shopping! I bet they have heaps of fun together - so sweet to see! I bet all the ladies will be smiling at them too! hehe
Lana, poor Amity she probably does have asthma, good idea to go see a paed - mum's instincts are usually right! Hope she is feeling better soon.
Yeah Jaimie and Firsttime have been MIA for a little bit now, hope they are doing ok? Maybe just very busy or away for a while!

Hi All!!!
Im still here but have been lurking and i feel a bit overwhelmed at the thought of catching up so maybe i can start afresh?!!
Will quickly send some big fat :hugs:  ADs way....I hope things improve. If not **** him off. You need a partner that wants both you and Antonio. Hopefully he was just in a crappy mood and feeling insecure about fatherhood.
Oh and Carrie i got your PM but i cant make it that Thurs unfortunately. Hopefully next time.:)
Both girls are doing well. Not much is new here..Got my tattoo on friday! Sat for 3hrs and will go for another 4hrs in two weeks when this part has healed. Will post a pic then.
Hope all the babies (and mummies!) are doing well.:hugs:

Ooh i love that pop up porta cot! I like it with the dots for a girl, but do they have other colours for the boys??
Emma - The one at BG looks good too. Bit more within a reasonable price range for something that just pops up. I wouldnt imagine it would last very long in my house lol!
Jaimie - cant wait to see your tatt!! Im still trying to decide what picture i want for me next one, I will be having Amity Griffin's names put under/near it too.
Man my right eye is really annoying me. It has been twitching all bloody day! Anyone know WHY they do this sometimes (other than just a nerve twitch) and maybe how to get rid of it!?
Griffin must be going through a growth spurt again because all he has done for the past 2 days is feed like mad! And yet my boobs havent really filled up much more. Im starting to think that maybe he isnt getting enough from me...
M2B - I agree with you, kids/baby shops (businesses) are definitely the way to go. I was only saying to my mum the other day that if i had the money set one up from scratch i would because there is a HUGE market for it! Everybody needs to buy baby stuff!

Toooooooooo sweet! Little angel chops.
and this is my fave pick of my little bro....he looks like he belongs in the godfather movies in this pic
He looks like orlando! ( or is it just me ) - he must be over the moon
You should give him a slap around the face and tell him how damn lucky he is to have a perfect little baby and a wife that loves him.
Caithi.. how are you feelig now? Any better?

Morning All (me thinks Antonio is having another growth spurt, i fed him at 10:45, and he woke again at 1:45,, arrrghhhh i still haven't caught up on 2 nights sleep - little bugger, i gave him more this time, see if he sleep thru now :fingerscrossed:) Usually he sleeps at least 6hrs between feeds. Little porky.
Thanks everyone for your hugs and advice, LT i think you/frog are right. Dp has apoligised for his outburst and said i can go. I think he is/was scared and i understand that, as he hasn't looked after a baby by himself before. He does love his son (which i knew) but he i guess like frog isn't /hasn't been "into" babies before. Which i also understand, but he also is carrying some baggage in regards to his mum. I made the comment that maybe he doesn't have much confidence with Antonio due to how he was treated by his mum, and he just froze and said you don't understand. I said nicely, how can i understand if you don't tell me. So i left it at that. I figure he will tell me when he is ready.
I know Dp isn't very confident with bubs, he has said that he can't handle the crying as he never knows what is wrong(so i said you think i did/do sometimes) hehe. He is great with him when he does feed/change/cuddle him, but HE doesn't see it. ? Even though i always praise him.
Anyway i'm hoping that maybe me not being here Wed night will help them bond a bit, like i said to Dp should the situation get totally unbearable all he has to do is call me and i'll come home asap.
Myself and Dp he with his mum and me with my dad have similar crappy childhood upbringings, and yes we do both agree that we want to do things better/different than what our 'bad' parents did to us as kids, he knows all about my dad, but he wont budge with something with his mum. So until he does i cant help him with it.
Oh and the other thing that got him ****ed off at me was "my sister and my dad's GF never did anything where they could'nt take bubs with them for the first year". So i simply said again that it was mums birthday, and that im not his sister nor his dads gf. Anyway he seem to realise he shouldn't have said what he did after that.
So :yelclap: i get to have a night out Wed, and i cant wait. I think i really need a break from it all, i have been pretty much tired/stressed out since Antonio came home. It'll be good for me to refresh and have a good laugh, and for Dp to bond with bubs.. well that part may need a bit more work hehee.

Ad, glad things have calmed down with DP.
If he hates babies crying, get him to do what DP used to do. Put in little ear plugs then put his music ear phones on, then all he can see is toadlet making cryign actions and no sound!!
Write down a check list for DP too for him to go through if Antonio is crying.
Hungry
Burp
Wet Nappy
Tired,
Hot/cold
Then if everything is ok in the check list ad he's still crying, then Antonio is just being a turd!
Turn up the music and chill out!
Or for an extreme solution, put in a sound proof door like Frog did.
Hope you have a great night out.
Caithin.. those toys are lovely. I have a glow light already which I haven't used yet.
Back to sleep, toadlet did 7 hours just then and I just made DP's lunch and did bottles and nappies so I can have a sleep in if toadlet does.

It looks a bit small though for it to last as long as a normal portacot iykwim, the other one looks bigger height and length wise, so will last up to bubs is a toddler etc me thinks anyhoo:detective:
Ooh i love that pop up porta cot! I like it with the dots for a girl, but do they have other colours for the boys??
!
See I would have said the dots one looks boyish coz of the darker coloured dots etc BUT hey it mustnt be masculine enough for lil Griff LOL hahaha maybe one with a stubbie holder  JJ
AD~ glad he apologised hun
Oh and Lana, def. go with your mumma instincts in re: to Amity's asthma as I know when the docs diagnosed O with asthma I just knew it wasnt (as I had chronic asthma as a kid)
I knew it was only allergy related asthma symptoms and am glad i perserved with different pead.s etc as now O is just on claratyne instead of all those heavy steroids and his fine.
Gd luck with Amity its a horrible thing to have BUT very manageable thankgoodness!
Thanks Emma

Yeah i just know that Amity's cough isnt just a cough, not when it has been around for so long. Plus she has that asthma couhg that i had when i was little. I used to cough so much it would make me vomit, stupid asthma! :banghead:
AD - Glad to hear that you and your DP have sorted things out a bit. I agree with LT (again), write up a list for him cos it might give him a bit more confidence too. You might even find that once he realises he can do it on his own he will want to do it more often.
Griffin slept 8.5 hours last night which was nice. I managed to get 7 hours which isnt too bad either. I have figured out why Amity was playing up once we put her to bed too, she is scared of the dark!! Now i leave the light outside her room on and she is fine (we tell her its her special light lol).
Well we are off to dancing today so hopefully all that dancing around and waking up so early will make her need a sleep during the day. Its even harder to get a sleep out of her now that she can open her door!

Hello!
Ok Ella slept thru again! WT? Lol :) Just have to stop her waking up in the early hours of the morning to put her dummy in now! I didn't think she'd go down well last night as went to BIL for dinner & she was wide awake when we got home aruond 10 ish. We put her down, gave her the dummy, she watched her mobile, had a winge, put her dummy back in, went to bed & didn't hear a peep til 3.45am! Dummy in, a few times til she was awake properly at 6am! Lots of sleep = happy baby! (& happy mummy - happier if she stops the dummy calls!).
Welcome back Jaimie!
Nic - Cute pics of Madi! Can't wait to catch up again. Would you like to come to the meet at Wellington Point on Wednesday instead as not so far for you to go? It's at 11am i think. Plus only 45 mins for you then? Lol i just wanna cuddle Madi again! Hehe.
Emma - Cooper has been in my dreams 2 nights in a row! Weird ... must be cos i was looking at his pics the other day? We were at your house & Ella & Cooper were playing ...

Sarah - Ella has a box of those socks! How cute are they?! With the wine, Ella's prince charming - Mason - got a bottle of port with his pic & stuff on the label from his aunty/godmother & I think it's a fab idea!
Lana - Poor Amity! I was always scared of the dark - still am lol. I was lucky at home as we had dimmer lights we used & I gradually turned it down to the darkest then started sleeping in the dark. I have a little WTP nightlight (Big W has them) in Ella's room which just plugs into the power point. It's really good as not heaps of light but enough.
Lana - what do you mean Amity's 'donor?' Did you have trouble conveiving her or something? Sorry if this is too personal - don't answer if it is! I don't want to intrude!
I love the Pop-up cot! So cute!!!
i have the WTP one from Target which is wonderful & E loves it. It has the newborn mattress, flip up changetable & a bar over the top with the WTP characters dangling off it. (She thinks they are hilarious!).
Target are having a Fisher Price sale this week - buy 2 & get third for 1c!
http://www.target.com.au/html/catalogue/catindex.htm
Guess what?! DH's SIL is pregnant with #2!!! She's about 2 months - due in January! I wrote her a text as didn't get to speak to her on phone & said "Ha! I KNEW it!!!" Lol. I've been on at her for ages lol. So knew she was! Except she doesn't get sick so hard to tell when she is! DH's other SIL/my bf and I are having lunch over Prg SIL's tomoz & kids can play.
Man I am clucky again now! Always said I'd want to try later, maybe when E's around 2 cos I want to spend that time concentrating on her & not spend all day so sick & run down again & not being able to give her the attention she needs but I figure like the sleep thing (BC - before child - i couldn't survive on less than 10 hours sleep per night & never ever even did an all nighter out drinking!) you will get used to it & manage cos you have no choice.
What do you buy someone who has already had a baby so has most things? Do you give them fresh clothes, wraps & bed linen? I have no idea. Everyone is starting on their 2nd now! See if I can convince DH to let us try again in December!
I bought some cute material for bum covers at Spotlight to go with the long rainbow socks as sick of pastels & pink & white everything. We got dark purple & bought a fluffy red ladybug iron-on to go on the butt, bright red (very nice red!) & a bee to go on the bum and fluffy pale purple with a butterfly iron-on. There was some gorgeous material. If these ones turn out I can pick more for mum to make. Ella needs some shirts to go with as all her shirts are pink & white too! She has one pale white but I want green or red or yellow!
This morning after a play on the floor & in her bouncer E went to sleep & was due for a bottle at 9am so I did washing (to hang inside as actually cool & cloudy & spitting!) & I did house work, had a shower, had brekky, did bottles, been on here & she is still asleep! She needs a bath but she'll be so desparate for a bottle I'll have to wait til maybe 1/2 hour after her bottle. I should buy a heater from groceries this week as feel sorry for her lol.
SORRY FOR YET ANOTHER LONG POST!!!
Oh & the meaning of Ella is German for All in naming books but then I found out (I prefer this one!) that it also means Beautiful Fairy Woman in Old English! How nice is that? Her book suits her even more now - Ella the Rose Fairy! Oh I said they'd be out in Sept 07 as that's what the books say but I have already seen them and bought one for my 'goddaughter' o/s - Tia the Tulip Fairy.

Try this "ring test" -
To do it you get a ring that’s special to you that you’ve had for awhile (I used my wedding ring) and put it either on a chain that you wear a lot or on a long strand of hair and relax and hang it over your wrist (either one, it gave me the same answer on each wrist) and just let it move itself. For a boy it goes back and forth and for a girl it sort of goes in a circular motion. It’s so freaky as it seems to have worked for MtM plus July 06 mummies plus she did it on her mum & it worked on her as well & said what she had had & the gap etc! Don't take it too seriously though lol.
she is scared of the dark!! Now i leave the light outside her room on and she is fine (we tell her its her special light lol).
I'm still scared of the dark, I keep the kitchen light on all night lol. :o
Just found this meaning of Iris and its beautiful.......
Iris was a messenger goddess who rode rainbows between heaven and earth to deliver messengers to Olympus Love that!
Orlando just means Land of Gold:sleeping: boring hahahahaha
Cooper means Barrel Maker LOL
Emma - Cooper has been in my dreams 2 nights in a row! Weird ... must be cos i was looking at his pics the other day? We were at your house & Ella & Cooper were playing ...
Oh might be Ella's future boyfriend Hehe  .
Congratulations for you SIL too :smiliedance: .
I'm a bit worried for when I hopefully get preg again and trying to look after Cooper. As I was basically bedridden with morning sickness. If the same thing happens I have to try and con foster MIL to take her long service leave and look after us lol.
Bum covers sounds like they will look great Carie you'll have to take some pics once they are finished.
I got my Impressionable Kids thingy back the other day.

Caithi I would be giving the hands and feet people a call.
Beautiful photos too. I Love the letter above her cot.
Hey girls,
Skimmed the last few pages but haven't really caught up.
Lifes been a bit tough at the moment. Long stories but everything just piling up and becoming a bit overwhelming. Too much at once and Im physically and emotionally exhausted. Need to catch my breath.
Nothing much to report really. Sam is sick and waking min 3 times a night and now I feel like Im coming down with his flu. Leah's sleep is still **** and her night sleep is going down the gurgler too - waking 2-3 times a night and not going back to sleep for 1.3-2 hrs each time. Her feeding is also a bit odd, keeps pulling off the breast and crying or going at it frantic but just wont stay on. Its a bit odd. Hope she grows out of that as quickly as she grew into it.
Anyway, might go and try to put my head down for an hour till my kids wake up. Leah is currently asleep (small wonder) and sam was put to bed early after he emptied the DVD case and refused to put them back again.:banghead:
Hope everyone is well.
Caithi- Gorgeous pics! i love Nai Nais room...very peaceful looking! That cot is beautiful.
Carrie- You lucky thing!! Thats great the Ella can sleep thru like that. Cant even remember what somuch sleep feels like!!
Anna- :hugs: To you. Really hope things sort themsleves out for you soon. Hope you ggot your nap in too!
Ok better run.Sorry for missing a few but I have to run around like a crazy woman today cleaning the house while Jazz is at Daycare!!
Oh and Roxy is having her first day sleep in her cot for aaaages! Has been sleeping in her swing as she kept waking Jazz(rooms are right next to each other) but finally decided it was time for her to do all her sleeping in her cot.

Hugo is also in line! Take a number! (& watch our for her daddy!)
Jaimie - 2 posts in 1 day! Wow. I hope ella sleeps again tonight cos the last 2 days she's done it she hasn't slept during the day but she slept all morning - about 5 hours - & went 3 hours past her bottle(!) then she had a bottle & bath & is asleep again!

Thanks LT, i love how your straight to the point... LOL @ Turd
AD - Glad to hear that you and your DP have sorted things out a bit. I agree with LT (again), write up a list for him cos it might give him a bit more confidence too. You might even find that once he realises he can do it on his own he will want to do it more often.
Thanks :hugs:
I'm still scared of the dark, I keep the kitchen light on all night lol.
SNAP! Im scared of the dark too, so i either leave kitchen or dining area light on.
:hugs:'s Annsam, hope you got your nap.. and that things improve - boy it can be tough can't it.. why i cant wait for my night out. A night with no Dp and bubs = bliss!!
Shezi, Glad you are feeling better now.
ETA: Holy **** just got the biggest clap of thunder... scared the **** outta me!!

i'm glad your feeling better Shezi,
Um with his feet, by the time I got around to ringing up, (as I kept forgetting)he was 4weeks but then they didn't have an appointment for about 3weeks so he was 7weeks then the cast thingy didnt work so the lady had to do them again and I couldn't get to her store so she came to me, and that was when he was 9weeks. So better late then never lol.
too cute! he looks like a boxer
Haha yeah I was tossing up wheather to say Rocky or superman.

Hi Girls,
I got stuck in an elevator with the toadlet! Fun.. luckily he had just had his feed and we were only in there for 15 minutes.
Frog and I had our first toadlet free date last night, Yummy dinner (mother day pressy).
We had our first photo taken as a family other than day one. Pic here (http://www.bizztools.net/misc/family_photo_may.jpg)
Monty means mountain.
Caithi, lovely photos.
Annsam.. I feel for you, nothing worse than sleep debrevation. Hurry up Sam. get beter!!
Emma & Cooper - sorry - E has an arranged marriage to Mason lol.
I think Monty and Orlando are hooking up too.
Emma, Cooper is looking fantastic.
Minor vent.. ok. BIG vent..
I sent a bubhubber an item I made (no one from this thread .. caithi or scoob or annsam)
I didn't get any acknowledgment, even sent her an pm asking if she received it. I have since had another very short pm in regards to something else, still no thank you or anything.
How rude is that! I hate it when people don't say thank you.
Workies time!
LT - I know how you feel. Twice now, I've sent off original cross stitch designs to a couple of members on this board (no-one that we know here) and I haven't even recieved any form of thanks in return.
It's quite rude isn't it?
AD - i'm really happy to hear that your dp apologised. i think they do feel like they can't cope with bub sometimes. my DH has been known to swear at poor Harps a number of times. i tell him that getting narky will just upset H more! i guess its true that some things just 'come naturally' for us mums. i just hold H really tight, pat his bum and "shh shh shh" in his ear and he calms down quick-smart!
Sarah - we had personalised champagne bottles for our wedding, everyone loved them. will prob get them for H's naming day too...
love the meaning of Iris. Harper means: musician, minstrel, harp-maker, harp-player. he has lovely long fingers so maybe he will be a musician (not if he has Mummy's flat voice tho! LOL)
Caithi - beautiful photos, makes me want a girl!
Anna - sorry to hear Leah's still not sleeping, poor kid and poor MUM!!
Emma - love your little boxer, lol
LT - no excuse for people being rude like that! only takes a minute to write a quick thank you!!
knew i forgot one...
Shezi - the online legwarmer shops are Babylegs and ********* (spelling?). Target has great, cheap ones. but only girly ones at my target :(

i am going to be in so much trouble when DH sees the visa statement - i have developed a MCN addiction... i just look on my fave sites all the time and find such cute ones! ordering one size fits all now tho, so i can say "but they will last til toilet training and for the next kid" HAHAHA...
also i want to wash every 2nd day, not every day. once the orders come, i will have enough :)

God yes! I don't know how people can be so incosiderate.
Today I told a guy off, a lady infront of himn at the post office has a baby in a front carrier ad she dropped an envelope. He saw it dro but didn't pick it up, I said quite loudly "Don't you have any manners?", pushed past him and picked it up.
Bluegin.. are you going to enter the next MCN Nappy swap?? It's been heaps of fun Sent my item off today, I hope my recipient likes it.
BTW .. Hi ICUGAL!! nice of you to pop in.

LL.. pm me your address and I'll post you off a pocket nappy I made, a print one. It will only have been used once or twice, plus the toadlet is nearly growing out of them.
It should last till he's about 9 months old,
Good for day time use, print nappies look cool, but the cotton tends to wick if they are big wetters,
I use my prints during feed and awake times (or for showing off) and plain PUL at night time.

Proud Mummy - Antonio can actually hold things now... and he loves bath time. He smiles heaps now and is trying to giggle, instead he gets all excited his arms/legs flail wildly
Just having probs with the transfer to his Cot, he is fine when awake, and when i put him in there when sleepy, he falls asleep on his own.. but when he wakes up all hell breaks loose! Any tips? I do my stroking of the head which he loves, but even then he still grumbles for a bit.
 As LT would say.. Little turd!
Evening all, Jaimie- lovely to hear from you! I figured you probably only had time to lurk, it does get a tad overwhelming once you miss a few pages! Nice to hear that Roxy is going well with her cot-sleeping, what a good little girl!
AD-Sorry I wasn't here when you were having those troubles with your fella, but oh so glad it is worked out :hugs:. I'm sure he'll do an amazing job, and feel like a duffer for being so worried about it, LOL. I hope it's an awesome night out for you!
Emma- that is the sweetest ever pic! Just love your little boxing/flying man :p
Sarah-gorgeous invites, I wouldn't bother paying good money when something that good is free! After all, you can tell your DH how frugal you're being... and maybe get that popup bassinet sooner ;) Hehe, I showed it to DH and he just said "hmmm"... not a big baby-stuff buyer!
Finally (after seeing them 2 days in a row) convinced him to buy Kes some wrist rattles (gorgeous little multi-coloured caterpillars!) and they look so adorable on him.
LT- Beautiful family pic! You make a handsome trio, and great to hear about your night out going well, a great Mother's Day gift for you.
I would love to enter the MCN super swap (have been eagerly awaiting the picks of the swapped ones!) but I'm not overly confident that anyone would want one of the soakers I make. I'm also not very adept at customising so worried it wouldn't even fit the recipient :o
Not nice that you haven't had a thankyou! I'm frequently very late in writing to people, but think it's important you do thank them, as that is what makes this such a lovely friendly place!
Anna- I hope you've had a nice nap, so tough when it all builds up and catches up with you! Fingers crossed that Sam gets better soon.
Kes too went through a difficult to feed stage recently (of course he did, they're twins! LOL) where I had to hold him on to me the whole feed (usually can relax once he is attached) as he kept slipping off! I found he wasn't bothering to take enough in to his mouth, probably a side effect of using a dummy! I just hold him there now, he can't slip off. As for the screaming, I ended up just giving him the dummy when he screamed and that was usually what he was after. However, the times that he didn't want the dummy I realised he was actually getting frustrated awaiting the second let-down! Maybe a growth spurt? Maybe offer other side in case she is after a different consistancy of milk? I hope there is some way of her going back to normal feeding, it must be very rough on you!
Very excited today... we bought dinnerware!!!
When we first moved out together 5 years ago freinds were going to buy a nice white set I liked, but bought us a hideous blue and yellow one instead (icky!)... it took me 3 years to 'accidentally' smash all of that, LOL, but then we couldn't afford the ones I liked.
Well- Myer has a sale, and my gran wanted to give us some money as a belated wedding gift, so we just bought a beautiful 10 place settings with 3 serving bowls and 2 platters, in a simple cream design where the edge of the plates is kind of like petals around the centre. Awesome.
Kes was great too, I fed him in the parents room (which was lovely, big enough for a kids bedroom behind the curtain!) and he spent the rest of the time looking up at his Dad as he wheeled him round.
Wow, sorry for the mammoth post, got a bit excited about my crockery, LOL

If i can get a goodish pic will post it :D

Believe it or not, I actually forgot a couple of things in that massive post, LOL
1.The eye twitch thingy for me was a pregnancy symptom! SO watch out girlies! Hehe, I'm sure it's nothing ;)
2. Kes has been out in the pram a few times now, and gets all quiet and excited when I take him out, as he has realised it means he will get a hug! :o so cute! And when I put him in the carseat his eyes go all wide and he scrunches up his nose waiting for his tickle time! I can never resist so it takes quite a while to get him in and out, LOL

OMG  we just bought another house :smiliedance: I cant believe it! Had a look this arv and decided to buy it. Not our dream home nor as good as what we were going to build but a great price, 4 bedrooms plus a study nook - perfect plan for my Inky Feet - should I go ahead with it!!! As soon as we signed she had another call from other people that wanted it!! When we drove past the place the people were there and looked very angry!! We got in first!! So we would just have to build a shed on the property and thats it. Settlement is on 20 June  Cant believe I will have to pack up and move  It is subject to finance though but I dont think we will have a problem with that as we are just waiting for our house to be valued. We are going to keep this one and rent it out!
Just in shock as it all happened so quick - no time for thinking up here, property goes so fast. It was onyl on the market for 4 days!
Hey Tazzy, I was interested in Twinkle Toes, but I might look at Inky Feet and see what it's all about. Are you still looking into this too?
Yep - talked to Brenda again today about it. I'm very interested and am going to the next step - financial side of things.
Anyway havent had time to read posts so will later

LL. I have to buy 0's for him to wear at night or don't bother putting anything on his legs at all.
Now that it's cold I have a dressing gown he wears and I have poppered the end closed.
One BIG advantage to massive cloth butts is that it makes it easier to hold your baby, you can proptheir bum on your arm when they are over your shoulder, when I went to Adelaide and had to use disgustables, toadlet kept slipping down my arm.
Bluegin, I had the twitchy eye thing too!
Your knitting is fantastic, you'll be great in the MCN swap.
Wel done on the house Tazzy, we don't even have one yet. Doubt we will buy for a while.

i love bonds! have heaps of bonds clothes/daks myself. most of H's clothes are from k-mart (25% off kids clothes this week, i was there on friday). or from op shops - MIL loves them and she trawls through finding stuff that is practically new! H has more clothes than me now!!
aww, gorgeous pics AD, he looks so huggable!
Congrats Taryn, very fast deal!
Thanks LT, interested to hear you had twitchy eye too...:detective:

1.The eye twitch thingy for me was a pregnancy symptom! SO watch out girlies! Hehe, I'm sure it's nothing ;)
OMG soooo not funny!!!
Taryn - congrats on the house!
LOVE all the pics - very cute! God we have gorgeous babies in here!
Anna - hope you are all feeling better soon.
Carrie - sorry lol i should have explained that properly, Amity has a different biological father. He is an a$$hole and doesnt see her so i refer to him as her 'donor'
Shez - this is that letters site http://www.groovygoodies.com.au/index.php
Will post more later, just feeding Griff!
Yep - talked to Brenda again today about it. I'm very interested and am going to the next step - financial side of things.
Oh wow that sounds exciting! I talked to DH about it and checked out the website etc. I am going to now send an email off as instructed on their website and start the conversations to see what happens. I am very interested too and if it's what we want then we will go ahead with it too. We will have to keep each other up to date with what's happening as if we do go ahead we will both have a QLD branch. Congrats on the house too that's awesome news!
LL - ouchie, that would have hurt on your foot! I have one tatt but it is on the left side under my tummy, it bloody stretched whilst preggers but slowly going back into shape. I go the latin version of my birthsign - Scoprio it's a M with a celtic design around it - now I can also say M for Madi - hehe. I want another one but will be careful where I get it done.
Carrie, the meet near your house sounds good, I will see what happens tomorrow and then if I know I am free on Wednesday I will come.
Caithi, the nursery is goregous, very pretty - I agree it looks like a pic out of a mag!
Emma, Cooper is so cute! AD, Antonio is very cute too!
NM, I love your invites they look fantastic for home made, you did a beautiful job!
LT, I love your family pic, it's gorgeous. You look so well and fit - looks like you never were preggers!
Anna, I hope you get some rest soon and the kids sleep a bit more for you - even just for one night. Thinking of you :hugs:
BG - the dinnerset sounds very lush! It's a great pressie too, something you guys can cherish for years to come - that's hoping Kes doesn't break it! He sounds so cute BG!
OH I can't remember any other posts, sorry if I have forgotten anyone!
Madi was such a good girl last night, went to bed at 8pm and woke up only once durinig the night at 2:45am only 'cause she was freezing, poor bub. I brought her into our bed to try and warm her up them went and dressed her in extra clothes - she was sleeping while I was dressing her. She woke up at 5:15am and was sick, poor bub! She has slept all day and is still asleep now so I hope she isn't too awake tonight.

Just a quickie as Mum will be here soon (Dad is in hospy tonight ready for his operation tomoz) and I have heaps of cleaning up to do - house is a pigsty!
Anna - :hugs: to you. Matthew is also going thru some horrible feading times doing exactlyt eh same thing. I generally find that it is worse when he is overdue for a poop! ie at the 7 day mark roughly. I tend to just feed as much as I can and once he gets fussy like that I try a little bit more then give up. Was worried that he wasn't getting enough but then he continues will wet nappies so I figure all is okay. Hope it gets easier for you soon.
M2B - well done Madi!!!! Keep it up.
Good luck M2B and Taryn on your business forays. Sounds like fun!
Taryn - congrats on the new house. I just love it when things go quickly like that. We bought a block of land in Sydney much like that a few years ago and had the same with others upset they missed out. My best tip for moving - get the beds setup and made first-up ready for falling into at the end of the day.
Better go.. trying to watch the Baby Sleeping stuff on "whats good for you" at the same time as bubhubbing and cleaning up this house .

LL you made me laugh.....
M2B, yay that would be fun as we could do the expos together. Anyway I did tell Brenda that you were interested too! I am going to see an accountant this week to chat more about it plus about renting this out and our mortgages etc. Very confusing cause this house is in my name which doesnt make it ideal for a rental property seen as though I dont have any income at the moment!
Cute photos girls - they are all growing so fast - Jacey is 12 weeks today!! Anyway must go and have a shower.
:-)
Thanks guys - feel really chuffed about her room now! he he
still no thank you or anything.
Thats so rude! Especially sice 99% of the time you havent actually met these people and you are genuinely doing it out of the goodness of your heart!!!
Here is the christening invites for Iris, they are oversized postcards double sided
sooooooo pretty - love the iris on the front - your play with words will be limitless - and with such a beautiful flower!:yelclap:
I am very bored atm both kidlets and the house is sparkling a la stepford wives lol
MARK WILL LOVE YOU!! lol - you are most welcoe to come over here next time you feel bored lol - stepford wife = marks ideal woman lol

Very excited today... we bought dinnerware!!!
Hey me too - whats with that - but she just doesnt slip off she pulls off with nipple in mouth - still in mouth - f#ck that hurts - stretches lke a piece of gum arghhhhhh then does this crazy half laugh half cry thing lol
I feel your joy re the dinner set - very excited for you - matching and clean and new !!

Our investment is in my name ( it may be different because its commercial Im not sure , but we do rent them out) but im sure its good to have it in your name and divert some of your dhs income into your own ( and / or bubs ) as an off set against your tax.

Have you guys both made the decision to only have the one? or is it still up for debate:D
I know dh is keen and even though im cluckying like a mad chook  its still being debated:thumbsup:
Tazzy, thanks for telling Brenda I was interested, I sent off an email and just waiting for a reply. I was just thinking this morning at the baby expo's - that would be so much fun.
Caithi and Emma - you are both very keen! I wish you all the best and hope it doesn't take too long for you! I am waiting until Madi is around 2 or 3 before we start trying again.
Well as I suspect Madi didn't sleep too well last night, was up at 10:30am and 2:30am then awake for a play at 5am. Hopefully she sleeps better tonight.
LT, well done to Toadlet, great sleep! Does DP not want anymore bubs? My DH doesn't but I said we should just have another one and talk about it in the next few years.
Hope everyone is having a nice day! Madi is having a little nap so I better go do some housework!
Caithi and Emma, that's great news! I look forward to hearing when those gorgeous bubs of yours are due to become a big sister and brother!
I think we'll wait for a while, partly because DH is not keen to try for some time, but also because I'm a bit paranoid about the caesar scar holding!
Gemma- how long does your Ob recommend waiting? I ask because he sounds like a good caring man!
LT-splendid creation! I had a look at the thread where they are being 'shown off' and it seems to be a hit! Good job
It seeems the piglets had a good nights sleep, :fingerscrossed: Leah slept well for you Anna!
Kestrel was a little sooky when he fed overnight, like he had trouble finding where the milk came out... Oh and Sarah, you mentioned Iris just licking a few pages back, isn't that just the funniest thing! I am frequently telling him that "Mum isn't a lollipop!"
I just gave Cooper some pumpkin & sweetcorn baby food. He took it really well. The only bummer is he keeps putting his hands up near his mouth and gets it all over the place lol
Hi girls,
Thanks for all your warm wishes and thoughts :hugs: . Really appreciate it.
Still have too much going on to deal with but am in a better frame of mind today at least. Yesterday was just so crappy - probably the worst day Ive had yet with both kidlets.
Anyway.........
I am very bored atm both kidlets  and the house is sparkling a la stepford wives lol:D
How on EARTH did you manage that?! Very impressive none the less.
we just bought another house
Congratulations!!!!! I desperately want to move but DH wants to buy a business (though has spent the past two years trying to decide what business so it may never actually happen) so the whole moving thing looks out of the picture for the moment.
A lady called him a fatty yesterday! How rude is that.. well, not that rude cause it's true.
.
Did you repay the compliment? With the mood Im in I would have. I told a guy off the other day for parking askew because I couldn't get sam into the car without nearly ripping his arm off. Took him by suprise........ and me as Im not generally a confrontational person.
Caithi and Emma, good luck with your baby making! Very exciting.
Gin, yeah I think shes trying to get me to let-down when shes pulling as shes fine if I change sides.
Beautiful photos girls.
Congratulations on the sleeping.
As for madam Leah - her sleep is getting worse. Going to have to take some drastic action with her but dont have the energy to be consistant at the moment.
Ok, best be doing what I came on to do while both kids are asleep (rare occassion - they usually tag-team).

Emma and Caithi - Good luck with the ttc!!! Cant wait to hear your good news!

Sheree - i just realised how much its going to cost for you to do the girls middle names on their walls! Thank god its not their first names hey! I was going to do Amity Jayde but i think i will stick to just Amity now!

I read on here somewhere that women tend to get their emotional needs met from the new baby its hormones and stuff which makes total sense to me:D

I dont let DH near boobs! I already have to share them with Jacey so no one else can have them! Cant even stand him touching them slightly or anything. But he does get lucky a couple of times a week:D so he cant complain.
Annsam hope things get better! Jacey has been waking again at 3am each morning. guess I should not complain though as she goes to bed at 7pm so its still good.
Last night however, I couldnt sleep cause too excited, Logan woke on and off rfom 11.20pm to 1.10am - teething and then Jacey was moving at 1.45am so went it and stuck her dummy in and then she woke at 3am for feed and then Logan woke at 6.30am. I think I got 3 hrs at the MOST, but amazingly feel great today and both kids have been asleep since 12, I could've got 2 hours sleep but have made sooo many phone calls to do with this new house etc. About to go to council when mum gets here to organise shed.

 classic! I can understand the whole baby meeting the needs etc too. Im more interested in just cuddling up on the couch lol, although that will generally mean that Sam will fall asleep and drool on me!
Anna - i agree with Sarah, having a good sleeper makes the world of difference! Its hard to get anything done if bub is always wanting to be held. :fingerscrossed: Leah starts to sleep better for you soon.

LT - LOVE the dress!! Its adorable!! Re teething, generally they say that teething can start from as early as around 4 months (although some babies do start earlier)
Bit of a whinge ahead lol
I got home today and was putting the bins back and in the garden bed between my house and our neighbours house (there are 3 houses off the one driveway) i noticed what i thought was some junk mail BUT as i got closer (IN the bush) i noticed that it said ANZ bank on it. There were three envelopes sitting in the bush, half eaten by snails!! When i looked in the tier above that there was a massive bundle of mail there too!! The little sh!ts from the other side (not in our complex bit) were playing in there the other day and they have taken ALL the mail from the 4 letterboxes of our complex and opened it all! I took it all out and sorted it into piles and took it back to the different owners and explained what had happened. I then rang the landlord and asked them to fix my letterbox as mine is the only one with out a lid thing. They are going to fix it so at least i will be able to put a padlock on now. But get this, when i went to talk to the mum of the kid she took NO responsibility for it at all and actually got annoyed that i confronted her about it! How dare she get annoyed at me when it was HER kid that was going through all our mail! There were bank statements, child support info, hospital receipts etc! Thankfully they didnt take it on the day i received a cheque...
Grrr, vent over!

Hello
So many pages to read! Just skimmed quickly...
LT - teething - i thought e had started as has been extra wingy & crying heaps, not sleeping, clingy, HEAPS of dribble, eating her fists, bath toys, munching down hard on dummy, runny poohs & white bumps on her gums already! Aaagh... hope not! My cousin cut her first one at 4 months.
Congrats Taryn on your new house!
Yay Caithi! Wish we could try again now ... DH says no ... I am very clucky espesh being round DH's SIL today whose 8 weeks! Never thought I'd miss being prg so soon!
Had lunch at SIL's today & she gave me an outfit for e she bought before she was born - army print shorts (size 1 but adjustable & go so small so prob could wear now) and pink halter top with diamontes on chest! So cute!
Slept when we came home. E in my bed (in your rolly thing shezi!). So funny cos I closed my eyes & she kept tapping me, grabbing my finger & talking as if to say "wake up Mummy!" so cute ... she laughed everytime i opened an eye! She eventually went to sleep & poor dh was texting & ringing me to pick him up & didn't get the message til an hour later! Lol.
Ok off for a warm shower & watch Intruder Alert.
Hope E sleeps tonight - last night was cr@p!!! awake from 1-4am!!! Then we had to get up at 5am to take dh to work! So buggered ... She didn't wanna wake at 5pm for the bottle she was 2 hours overdue for but i made her wake up now she's had a shower & more bottle so hope she sleeps tonight!
Ciao for now!
very cute pics LT. as for teething.. really it can be any time. M started teething at 3months.. 1st tooth at 4months. D's first tooth came through at 6months but started teething around 5months. however my nephew had 2 teeth by 2months!
im quite happy for bub to take as long as she needs for teeth.. bubs gums chomping on nipples is one thing but teeth are a whole other story!!
lana that would have been SO annoying.. how rude of the mum to not even care. no wonder theres so many sh!thead kids out there!
re the lettering i know  i think im looking at $200 without postage. but it'll look so good!
Carrie- that sounds like a nice day, and I hear you about missing being preg, one thing for me is knowing that there really is a real baby inside the big bump, LOL, I guess that's obvious, but never seemed real until they held him up!
Lana- I'd be spitting chips, what an annoying woman, lucky you found it all!
Poor Kes very windy today, suddenly breaks in to hideous screeching, sounds so painful :crying: He does respond most of the time to a hug or a bounce on my chest, so sad to see his face crumple up though!
**EDIT: I caught the end-half of Kes smiling on camera today, still haven't managed to snap a full smile!

Bec graduation (http://i116.photobucket.com/albums/o37/library-laksa/061122GraduationBecM.jpg) (I'm about 5-6 months preg in this one)
and she looks even better in casual clothes!!
QUESTION - does your breast milk "smell different" when you get pregnant????
Ok......Nai has slept through 6 to 8 hrs then 3 to 4 hours straight after that with a really quick fed in between for the past say 2 weeks. She never even stirs at night now
Not sure if this helps but....
shes up all day and just before bed I give her two bottles of expressed milk - say at 9 then at 10:30 - around 150/170 mils each feed.
She was getting really ****ty at me for a while and my boobs used to feel half full at night and shes a big guts so I express during the day now, feed her for 10 mins until she gets ****ty with me during my last two feeds then do the bottle.
I just gave Cooper some pumpkin & sweetcorn baby food.
Oooooooh :yelclap: Can we start solids?
thanx for the links girls. caithi thanx for the offer of getting the letters.. do they come in any colour or only white?

Caithi - Love your idea of scaring the kids lol! I think the mum needs a bit of a scare too!!
Gin - Kes is absolutely adorable!! look at those big brown eyes, i bet they will capture all the girls' attention!
LL - Wow your stepsis is grogeous!!! You're right, she is a stunner hey!
Carrie - I hope Ella sleeps better for you tonight.
Emma - Yeah everyone has different opinions on when to start solids. I think you really just have to take cues from bub though. Some babies need the extra food a lot earlier than others and some just arent interested.
Well my lovely march mummies, im off to bed! Have a good night everyone! :hugs:

Yeah!! Monty improved his sleeping record for the third time this week. I just got 8 hours 40 out of him.
He also pigged down a record amount of 235 mls.
He actually only had 5 feeds yesterday!! Normally 6 or 7.
Hope all babies are sleeping well.
Bluegin : Kes has a beautiful mouth.

F'adoodledoo! Toadlet is STILL asleep.
He's been down for another 5 hours so far after his 4am feed.
So sleeping pretty much 14 hours with a 20 minute feed inbetween.
