I ordered them online from BABIES GALORE. I ordered them on Monday and they arrived at my doorstep this morning...Just like :wizard: !! LOL

There is a little pocket at the back that you could fit something small into. I don't think it's REALLY supposed to be used as a backpack although that's how they advertise it. You could probably fit a little toy or something in it..

I got the Unicorn one, but there is also MONKEY, COW, DONKEY and PUPPY.

ok...so maybe she is going through a chang .......up until a month ago she use to slepp through....then 2 teeth in 1 week threw that out the window......she only been waking once through the night devouring a bottle...so obviusly she is hungry!...thks

Hey girls, sorry I have been gone for sooooo many pages..LOL.. It just took me an hour to catch up on everything and now that I have read it all I cant remember most of it:eek: ..

I love those harnesses.. They are gorgeous.. I might have to look into getting one for a later date.. Aren't Babies Galore great.. We just ordered a new stroller (Yay so much easier than the big pram) from them on Saturday night and it was on my front door step yesterday morning.. And thats going from Sydney to country SA.. Pretty damn good if you ask me..

Oh I have missed you girls the last couple of days.. I have just been too busy to catch up with you.. By the time night time has been coming around I have been crashing:sleeping: on the lounge and DP has to wake me to send me to bed..LOL.

Milly I am still breast feeding also.. Although she does not eat as much from me as she used to as she absolutely loves her solids too.. She just loves any food full stop.. What exactly are your troubles.. Was it that she only goes to sleep off the boob.. Or that she wakes every time you take the boob away?? Jazzy used to always fall asleep off the boob.. But I find these days she prefers to have her dinner, have a play, have one boob, have a bit of more play, have the other boob and maybe a bit more play otherwise she likes to be put into bed now and cuddle with her blankie and then go to sleep.. Do you have a dummy for milly? I had to get one so that Jazzy could use this for a comforter instead of my boobs.. She also loves having something soft to cuddle up to.. Anyway PM me if you want any support...

Hey Charlen, Jasmine also just cut her teeth and for three days before we found them she started waking at 3am whereas she normally always sleeps through the night.. I fed her the first time and then just rocked her for 20 minutes the other times.. She has still done it this week but we just pop her dummy in now and she goes back to sleep.. yeh..same..was just giving water and a rock..but the other night she was screaming the house down...so gave in and gave a bottle after 1/2 an hour of this...and she gulped in down..so must of been hungry...last night..i couldnt be bothered ..gave her a bottle...drank it and went strait back to slepp till 8.30 this morn......shes off her food at the moment....seem to be pushing it in and does drink huge bottles...though she luvs water for some reason.
Sheridan; i remember seeing those thingys on babies galore online now......BGalore are very good...i ordered something on a sunday it was here early monday morn......we have a shop here in newy.......but not much chop!

My clinic nurse was right!! It is impossible for me to settle Amelia now without boobies!! Someone else will have to step in as I really tried last night but just upset the apple cart by trying to soothe her otherwise. She has been awake from 2-3.30am then up at 5am.....and that was it! She also didn`t settle until 10pm.

Boobies win until someone else steps in or she weans off!

Going to be a zombie day today!

Snap...Jack is also addicted to the boob and has become a little monster of a night to get his booby comfort...5 times last night and every half hour the night before...I went at saw a clinic nurse today about it and have to try a few things...he doesn't appear to be liking them so far...:banghead:

BM don`t tell me there are more changes in sleep patterns and sorry Charllie but I did tell you it all changed for us at 5 mths. She slept like a dream before that!:eek: Not more change!

Mellyg we had a dummy yes and for a while she loved it. Got some lovely ones too! Then that went, and bottles were a non starter. Bought quite a few and tried with all family members but...no! Well yes she falls asleep on the boob and as I pull out she clings on for dear life and wakes or fishes with an open mouth for nipple with eyes shut(hilariously cute tho!!). This goes on for a while and when she is fully asleep she drops off or I pull out (tentatively) and she leaves it. Then in the night I end up with her and she helps herself and I think I don`t even feel it sometimes. Got that idea off the pro breast feeding site. Not sure it was a good idea now!

I am of the mindset it will be all good in the end tonight...must have been that sleep.

He had a bottle this morning and one tonight and seems to be doing okay. I just hate it when they disturb in the night because of teething and want a booby to make it better and to go back to sleep.

Isaac 1st tooth has only appeared and ds 1 1st tooth fell out tonight he is 7 1/2 about time it fell out.

Dr said I need more protein so I bought a protein drink I have once a day and yay I feel soooo much better.

What an evening...

Jack went to bed @ 6pm, up again @ 7pm screaming...so I tried what the clinic nurse suggested however it backfired and he pretty much screamed for an hour...then worked himself up and threw up all over me and him...not pretty...

so, after calming him down, changing him and lots of cuddles, he played around till 10.15pm then came to let me know he had a whoppingly nasty nappy to be changed then fed and is now safe and sound in bed...for who knows how long...:fingerscrossed: am hoping longer then an hour...

am off for a quick bath (which I ran about 3 hours ago...grrrr) and some much needed sleep before trying to feed my baby water instead of boobie when he wakes up in the night...wish me luck girls...

my night wasnt as bad as it looks( touch wood).....jaime woke at 3.45..got up rewrapped her gave her a drink of water( because i thought she had plenty during day and i'd try the water again) and then instead of rocking her back to sleep i shoved her straight back into the cot and tucked her in....i decided to stay up till i was sure she went back off....she grumbled twice and then didnt hear her. So i decided to have a quick quiz on the hub...i knew u gals would notice the time;) ...but the problem was i went back to bed at 4.15....then couldnt sleep could i ..last time i looked at clock it was 5am....jaimee yelled for me at 7.45....so unfortunately i cant blame the baby for this one:laughing: .......Bm......sorry to hear Brady was unsettled for u last night! hope today/tonight is better 4 u:hugs:

I went to bed at 11pm...she woke at 11.45 so i fed her, fell asleep with her and CHris woke me at 6am to take him to work so not too bad,no effort to get her back in to her cot but hey I slept better and we had a nice cuddle!

Well jack wasn't too fussed on the whole water instead of boobie milk during the night and screamed the house down every time I tried...then had a hissy fit when I tried again and cried some more when I put him back into his cot with the bottle of water/ dummy and toys...OMgoodness my child has very good lungs and vocal cords...he certainly used them quite a bit last night till I gave in and boobie fed him...little toad...

Hi everyone, thanks for the very warm welcome,I have a lot of parents ask for advice on different issues i try to help if i can, but its true when people say that all kids are different i know first hand that that is true. My kids are aged from 17yrs down to 9wks, and to kangaskippy
most babies dont like overstimulation if they are tired ,so you have to get rid of everyone who is fussing over bubs:yes:and try to find somewhere quiet possibly with a dummy, and some soothing music:D.Anyway enjoy your families everyone.

Just had an email from an agency in Sydney who want to see her, the big ones did but want alot of $`s and got back to me too quick with a sales pitch. This one took weeks to decide and are sending me a brochure and no charges. Will wait and see tho as very sceptical of any rip off merchants!!

thanks for the advice, I am going to try some soft music tonight before bed time and see if that makes any difference...I usually turn the lights down after dinner and the Tv gets put on low to try and bring the excitement level down before bed..which seems to work but then he wakes up after 1 hour and is a nightmare from then on...

We found a really soft relaxing version of Twinkle Twinkle and downloaded it onto disc over and over...the same one. It does make her very sleepy. We also massage, bath and dim lights. Some nights are better than others though.It`s not the getting to sleep but the feeds in the night. Good luck hun!!

we have had it for 5 years that's a record for my Dh as he upgrades everything ,

My mum and dad owned a timber yard and I still remember when dad donated this huge box/cubby to the kinder I went to and we all had to paint it. So much fun and everyone thought I had the best dad. Which I did.:thumbsup:

Dh put the shower cap on Isaac and thought it was so funny we just had to take some pics.

Isaac so love that word you aren't allowed to say to he can be happy as pie sitting there with his dad and a soon as I walk in the room its like he thinks its food time and he starts to sook so I just have to not make eye contact 1/2 the time and he doesn't sook. :confused:
He's a crazy little man.

Mellyg - my ds has just started auskick this year and is totally obsessed with it now. It's so funny last year he wasn't interested at all and now bam he is so into footy. He also loves trying and I say trying to shoot hoops with dad he isn't quite there yet.

dh has his assesment and medical next Wednesday to get into the Army. He had a phone interview today and went pretty well so hr is gettin nervous as he studies up some more.

If he gets in he will have to go up to wagga wagga and do the basic training for 80 days. Don't know how we will go without him here???

Then they do their employment training which his is in Bandiana a bit closer to our home but still far away. for 60days.

He would be home in between them two. then I suppose he would be posted some where for his job could be anywhere Darwin, sydney, townsville, brisbane. who knows So yes we would be moving big time.

But all is good he so wants a good steady job to support us and give us a secure future so I am 100% behind him.:thumbsup:

I have my ME time in the Shower!!:o :D It's not as bad as it sounds but it's the only place that I can be ALONE!!! I know we should be conserving water, but GODDAMMIT Mumma needs some time to herself. RS I have just had a look at yr link. You both look lovely in the piccie. You must also be very proud of yr DD this week. We are having problems with DD2 now in high school. She was always fabulous in Primary. I blame the hormones! DD1 is doing great in yr 10 now and very focused so that is gr8

Water/comfort/cuddles: 2.30am - 3.30am... less screaming then the night before but still not happy...
sooooo, boobie fed till 3.45am...then just cuddles till 4.10am and sound alseep!!

Just a quick Hi just before we have lunch ,
my Dh was mucking around as he always does and we are having potato wedges and he came up to me with a BIG potato wedge

and said i will give you a wedgie LOL, so i took one and put it in the middle of us and said we have a wedge between us

well the house was **** it had no gate for out the backyard i have two dogs and children

Water/comfort/cuddles: 2.30am - 3.30am... less screaming then the night before but still not happy...
sooooo, boobie fed till 3.45am...then just cuddles till 4.10am and sound alseep!!

Awake: 9.30am....Yeah...

so technically only 1 wake up, just took a long time to get him back to sleep....:rolleyes:

DH has the day off today so we went shopping. I bought Brady some singlets and socks because he is out growing them fast. Whike we were having lunch Brady was drinking his drink and going "ahhhhh:D " after each sip and I looked in his mouth and say a molar coming out. I think that explains why he is not being himself the last few nights. I feel dumb for not realising but I couldnt see the tooth before today. Had a dumb mummy moment! Poor baby, must be so sore for him.

Poor Brady ...ouchies!..i was like that with jaimees first 2 teeth....didnt relise till i put finger in mouth..lol wont do that again. My girl has gone to her Nan's tonight. My big boy is home and actually sleeping alone tonight. He usually sleeps with his sis in her bed but now he is in his own bed but in her room. :)
Took some clothes to the laundromat dryers and came back and my big boy put them all on the clothes airer - no room to dry as its in a heap pretty much :laughing: my boys are so sweet when they try to help.
