I was thinking about stages of development and I was wondering how old everyones babies where when they did the following things:

1. Smiled?
2. Laughed?
3. Rolled over?
4. Sat supported?
5. Sat unsupported?
6. Crawled?
7. Started solids?
8. Stood holding on?
9. Walked holding on?
10. Walked by them selves?

And anything else I couldnt think of that you'd like to add.

My dd is only 3 mths so I can answer:

Smiled at 1 mth, Laughed at 2mth.

He just cut his first two teeth this morning..YAY!

Elysha is 7 weeks at pres..

Smile/Grin - 4 weeks did smaller ones earlier
Laugh - 5 weeks though not a noise really except once, more is a grin and wiggle at the same time
Rolled - 6 weeks from stomach to back - not sure if was on purpose
Not really standing but Stands supported in a way at 6 weeks leaning against chest but with some weight on feet (on my knee)
Can move herself forward a few inches when attempting to crawl during tummy time

How many of these bubs have older siblings?... Do you find that they progress quicker with the older siblings around.

sats unassisted 5.3 mnths for a short time, but his feet are more interesting so he ends up looking at them at lose range...LOL iykwim But we have nearly got the idea.
My DS is 6 mnths and 10.5 kgs so probably takes him a little longer to do thing.HA!:D

Schmell i swear EJ says yeah also, also OK - i spose i do use them a bit when talking to her - shes done it since about 2 weeks (maybe is just me thinking has said but others have heard her also...)

I was showing her pics of her tonight and said this is elysha and she like "yeah" LOL I also showed her a pic of her and her froggie and when I said the word froggie - eyes which had partially been closed came wide open she looked at the pic and reached out to it :)

DD could hold her head up from birth quite well. I could hold her against my shoulder & she would hold her head up briefly & look around. She's been able to hold her head up completely since about 11 weeks.

She has been able to bear her weight on her legs since 3 weeks. She has been able to pull herself up to standing from lying flat on her back & holding my hands for about 3 weeks now, so from just after she was 3 months old. She was breach, so I'm not sure whether this has anything to do with the head control/early standing thing?????
