Has this happened to anyone and if so did it turn out to be an allergy to wheat?

Mine isn't with Wheat. Im not sure excatly what it is yet.. Mikayla had a drink from a barbie drink thing you buy from the supermarket, within 30mins, her face was all rashy and legs and body. I took to the chemist and they said its a allergy to something and asked what did she have different, the only thing was the drink, so there is something in there that she can't have.. To scare to try it again.. I will wait until she is older!

Hi Jtk'sMum,

This is exactly what happens to ME. If he is allergic to wheat watch him with everything else. I thought i was just allergic to wheat but it turned out I am Celiac which means im Gluten and wheat intolerant. As we know there in everything so pretty much can't eat anything unless its free of these products. Some Celiac people are Lactose intolerant as well but only about 50% are.

Go and get him allergy tested to see what comes up...

Also a tell tail sign is cramping in the stomach and tiredness...

Need anything else just PM me...

Yes, that's exactly what happened to my son. He's 21 months old now and I have only just managed to get him tested last week (you wouldn't believe the number of doctors who say allergy testing can't be done until they are 3 years old!!)

The advice is keep him off wheat until the age of 3 when he can be tested for an intolerance.

To my surprise he turns out to be allergic to eggs too.
