Hi all, I know at the age of 3 months there isnt much development but want to check with everyone. With your bub what he/she doing at three months?
My DS currently babbles, smiles, laughs, lift his head, roll onto side, holds things (when placed in hand), looks around at everything.
Also does anyone have any ideas for playtime for a baby. I'm running out of different ideas to enterain him. He loves to lie on his play mat for ages but I like to play with him so I can interact with him.
Any suggestions would be great. Thanks.

hi lucas was doing all those at 3 months except he can roll over fully but chooses not to... and he sits up. I've never met a more talkative baby too... But i dont have much of an idea for playtime because my son and i just play with his toys or peekaboo or just talking to him and i teach him how to do stuff.. hope that helps
Hi
My DS is 3 months too!!! He is doing all the same thing your bubs are doing, but hasn't quite rolled over yet. He is getting there though, just hasn't figured out what to do with his arms ;) .
I am sure he could talk under wet cement at this stage, and he thinks he is sooo clever when he does it.
DS loves horsey rides. We lie on our back and sit him on our tummies and bounce him up an down. He laughs hysterically :D . I love it. As he is our first, and my parents first grandchild, he has lots of toys, and I just put differnt ones on a mat on the floor, put him on his tummy and we both sit and play with them. He loves the ones that make noise and move. His nanna for xmas bought him a chicken that dances and he loves watching it. He yells at me when it stops.
We also spend lots of time lying on our bed just talking, or reading books. He seems to like to look at the pictures, and apparently this is supposed to help with literacy later in life.
I also find sitting outside with him, entertains him. Watching the washing on the line, the trees, or event he traffic keeps his amused.
Finsher price has a website that has some good age appropriate play ideas on it. Have a look www.fisher-price.com
Hope this has given you some ideas.
Good luck
Belinda
