I had a hens night. I went with the girls out to dinner then for a night on the town doing a bit of bar hopping. We all pitched in and rented an apartment in the city and crashed there overnight. Was a fantastic night:D

I had one about three weeks before my wedding.
We had dinner at a Tepanaki (Sp) bar, and then went out to a bar. And well after all the shots, champers and god knows what else, I chucky chundered :barf: in the sink in the ladies and was home in bed by 10pm. MIL holding my hair back while I vomitted and BM using her hand to get the chunks out of the drain so it would unblock. My mum thought it was very amusing. I actually got asked to leave the premises.:o It was def a night to remember. But I can laugh about it now. The good thing was that I wasn't even hungover the next day, cause I threw up so much and was home so early.

I did, it was one of the best nights out I have ever had.

It wasn't that we did anything different or unique it was just a really fun night with all of my girlfriends.

We went for dinner at a mexican restaurant and then went out on the town.

My friends had made me a colourful veil so everyone knew it was a hens night.

I had specifically said I don't want it to be obvious I was a hen as I hate being the centre of attention but in hidnsight it was great as everyone was saying congratulations and stuff. (except one person who told me not to do it, it will be a mistake!!!)

Mine was probably 3 to 4 weeks before our wedding.

Yes I had one - You have to!

We went to the races for the day & then went to the Valley & city (well a few of us - most went home after the races) to watch River Fire under the Story Bridge where one of the girls' family had saved a great spot. Her dad also worked at the fire station in the Valley just up the hill from where we were & took us on a tour of the station so that was different - my sis & I got pics donning the (very heavy) fireman's jacket & helmet & sitting in the driver's seat (with our good dresses underneath & our frangipani lays lol). They then got a call out so we had to go (after having a sit down in the recliners in the (big screen) tv room room!).

We then went to a couple of bars, no one wanted to go to the clubs ot go dancing as I seem to be the only one who likes doing that :( ... some weird guy was freaking us out while waiting for my dad to collect my sis & friend and me waiting for dh to collect me so that sort of ruined it ...

Home & in bed before midnight though. I was very pi$$ed at the races as one of my friends asked ifI drank champers & bought a big bottle then said she DIDN't drink it!!! Some guys chatted us up & bought us champers too & did a toast! My mum thought it was so funny & he gave her a kiss! HAHA. I was sober before we hit the bars. Didn't spew either :)

my hens night.. LOL

was SUPPOSED TO BE out to dinner, then onto the town..

Well.. ended up only about 8 ppl turned up.. all older women with teenage kids, or babies who didnt wanna do anything after 7pm.. my matron of honor or best friend didnt even turn up..

I got lugged with my baby sister (which I dont normally mind but COME ON lol)

I had to get up and get all my own drinks, PAY FOR THEM MYSELF, get my own MEAL.. NOONE TALKED TO ME..

then after dinner my baby sister wasnt well so I sat outside in the car with her for 45 minutes before anyone even came out to see where I was!!! NOONE EVEN NOTICED I WAS GONE ............... :crying:

THEN I GOT TAKEN HOME :|

ALL BEFORE 9PM!!

I got home.. and I cried, and cried, and cried and cried. If Id known it was going to be like that I would have just gone out on my own one night and not even bothered..

Oh and I had to send out the invites myself..

Goodluck with your hens night :) lol Im sure it will be fantastic!

ETA: I appologise for that turning into abit of a vent lol

My sister (matron of honour), organised it. We went out for dinner at Hogs Breath. Then went "Disco Bowling", which was 10 Pin bowling with great music and alcholic drinks. We had games at the bowling alley, so everyone won a prize my sister had organised, they were a little 'naughty' but nothing really offensive. They gave you a pin, where everyone could sign. Some left when we went on to a bar, which was understandable as they travelled a fair way or didn't drink. I had to wear devils horns, that was a compromise for the novelty veil. Got home about 2am.

It was 2 weeks before the wedding. Hubby had his bucks day/night the week before the wedding.

I did - it was a blast!
We first went out for dinner in Lygon St and because our 'Girls night afloat' was cancelled the night before my hen's night :banghead: my Dad organised for us to go to Crystal T's  (his friend owns it) at the last minute.
We had such a great time - there were both male and female strippers and we found ourselves applauding the girls moreso than the guys - those girls can work it!
At one stage I was dragged up and the male stripper said to me, "I'm going to pick you up and spin around"
I replied, "Ok...it's your Workcover claim buddy!"
We then went to Bridie O'Reilly's.
This was about a week or so before the wedding.
Fantastic night - oh my giddy aunt did we laugh...and drink...and laugh...and drink!

We all had these fluffy pink halos to wear out and my sister had a whistle and when ever she blew it when we were out we had to all jump to the floor :o if you didnt you had to have a slammer!!! No I really couldn't be bothered with one, much to my best friends' disappointed. They were shattered but I'm just not into the whole drinking thing anymore. I was pregnant anyway so couldn't have.

We did end up going out for dinner...my two besties, one of my bestie's hubby and my DH. A nice quiet dinner that was actually an engagement present from one of my best friends that we hadn't been able to organise due to my m/s.

Mine was a dinner at a beautiful pasta restaurant with my bridal party, my girlfriends, my mum and aunties and cousins and my MIL, SIL and some of our female family friends.

It was just a quiet thing because I was 6 months preg and couldnt party but I really enjoyed myself.

What did you do?? I had a pub crawl. We hired a big coach bus....I work at a medical centre so had a medical theme. We had it on a Friday night so all the pubs around here were a little quieter and the pubs got the shock of there lives seeing us all walk in as we did not tell any of them that we were coming.

Did you enjoy yourself? Oh yes, I had the best night of my life.....everyone said it was the best hens night

When was it.. how long before the wedding 1 week before the wedding

I had a hens night. My Bm organised for us to start at coffee club for tea in Brisbane city and go clubbing. The same nighy my hubby has his bucks night and went clubbing too .We agreed to stay apart till 11pm and met at a bar at 11. We even went home together. We both dont really drink so I drove home afterwards.
we had it 2 weeks before the wedding.
