I had the same prob with my bub so I gradually stopped wrapping her. One arm out for a couple of days, then both arms out for a couple of days and then loosely (sp?) wrapped for a couple of nights and then nothing. I found that once she could lift herself with her arm a little to get her head in a comfy position she was fine.

Just keep thinking about how good your butt will look after a week or so of climbing the stairs repeatedly every night ;) :p :D

hope this helps...

you CAN buy a product that is supposed to stop them from rolling - I got one from Big W (cost about 24 dollars??) it is basically two cylinders (foam) with flat fabric between them - looks kinda like this ( ) __ ( ) from the end.. basically bubs lies between cylinders... it works a treat with Jack...

there are at least two brands though I bought the safe and sound one - basically you can adapt the size (velcro) - I use it so that Jack can have a sleep on his side during the day (resting on a different part of his head... dont want any flat spots)

I cant remember what it is called - sorry - but it is in the baby section...

veve - They are great arent they !!! My sis gave me one & it was a god send especially since bubs wouldnt sleep on his back when very little !
Not sure if this would work for you now Amy as bubs is a little older so can wiggle out of it but you can try it dont go buy one though a friend "made" hers by rolling up two towels with a piece of fabric the towels then go either side of bubs so they cant roll.
Otherwise i think schmell is right with trying to stop wrapping bubs up as this is a little dangerous now bubs can roll without getting his arms free. Try as schmell suggested taking one arm out at a time to get him used to it. You should find bubs can get himself more comfy once he is no longer wrapped. He may also be at a stage where he is just making sure mum comes to check on him when he cries. They like to be reassured that mum is never too far away & remember that wont last for long soon enough he wont even want kisses from mum as it will be too embarassing hehehe :p
