Which base has been your worst posting and which was your favourite?

Our worst posting was to Richmond in NSW. I'd go back but would be much fussier on where we lived, lol. Our best has been Amberley & Edinburgh.

Best was Cerberus, but we didn't live onboard, lived in a married quarter a couple of suburbs away, and ended up buying the house from the owner. All the guys told us to avoid living on the patch if at all possible, so we did.
Worst was last sea posting before this one as the only place we could get a big enough married quarter was Kellyville, hence we fell under DHA Richmond, and they are worse than useless...also Kellyville to Wooloomooloo every day is a long painful trip...though not as long as Greta to Wooloomooloo, lol.

I have loved our 2 postings. We were in Cairns (loved it) and now Sydney (love it)!! We luckily have been in the same place since Sept 2000!
Lets hope no one from Defence postings reads this or we may be off to the *** end of god knows where :D
