Hey ladies,

well my question is to everyone using OPK's
when u got ur positive did it last more then 3 days or just the one day and then the next it was back to a lighter line??

Ive also just read on a site that using clomid can effect the outcome of a opk??

It has been a couple of months since I've used an OPK, but the lines usually stayed strong for at least another day and then gradually tapered off.

The surge can stick around for a couple of days, so it would not be unusual for it to stay more than 3 days (or leave after 1 or 2 days) - just depends on the individual, I'm afraid.

As far as OPK's and Clomid goes, if the opk is taken too early in the clomid cycle it can cause a false positive. I think the recommended time to wait is 2-3 days after your last clomid to avoid a false positive, but check with your FS.

the last 3 days OPK's have all been positive and i took my last clomid tablet 9 days ago so i didnt think it would be that.
It just had me thinking as the last 3 months i only got one strong OPK each month, wheres this month ive had 3 well more as ive been testing twice a day but yeah 3 days worth lol

Sounds like a very strong surge to me! :thumbsup: Is this your first month of Clomid? If so, it is probably that causing the longer, stronger surge. Good luck and :fingerscrossed: for this month!
