Hi All,

My name is Leanne and I am seeking mothers groups on the coast as I would love to meet some other mothers out there to walk and talk with! Most of my friends are not mothers yet so I dont want to bore them with baby chat and I cant ask them for advice either!

If there is anyone out there that wants to meet up or even just let me know of any groups I would be very appreciative!

Thanks,

Leanne

Hi ladies

I am not in Qld but there are heaps of ladies from qld and some of them may be from your areas.

Check out the Brisbane threads and others - they all sound friendly bunch of ladies.

Hi Leanne,

I am looking to meet other mums on the coast as well. I live in Runaway Bay with my partner and our 3 year old son. I have found it really hard to meet other mums so would be more than happy to arrange to meet up.

I am also trying to meet other mums so I can bring my partners sister along as she is newly single and was due to have her little girl yesterday but no news of her arrival yet.

I am 26 and my partners sister will be 21 this year.

Hope to hear from you.

Jess :)

Hi there, I have a nine year old boy and a 16month old girl and would like to know if there are any mums in the Northern Gold Coast area that may know of any mothers groups/playgroups that are friendly and fun? I'm finding that alot of the mums are stuck in there own little groups and aren't really interested in making conversation with a "outsider"? I find it very disheartning and frustrating. So I'm putting it out there and hoping someone will rescue me with some exciting news!
Thanks heaps
Alison

I don't know of any mother groups really at all (I'm in Southport). If anyone wants to start one though I'd be in for sure. My s are at school everyday but my little man (3yrs old) is home with me most of the time still, and he loves playing with other kids (whether they're 5mths old or 5yrs old!). Let me know if you come across any, or if anyone wants to start a regular one let me know! I'm gonna try and make it to a meet soon, but a regular catch up time would be pretty cool too :)
