Oh No! Here it comes :( Starting to feel slight waves of nasea!

Done the cracker thing and am making sure my tummy isn't empty (as suggested in a book) I am currently drinking lemonade to increase my burp power! haha

But if this is as bad as it gets I can handle it!

I hope your nasea settles for you soon... I truly believe that keeping your tummy full will help, well it helped me... Thankfully I was never actually sick when pregnant..

I am trying to remember what I ate during the day to help with nasea, lots of crackers with vegemite, breaky muffins, fruit, nuts... actually I think I ate just about everything, except the skin on apples  ...

I hope you enjoy your pregnancy, and your morning sickness doesn't get any worse... I loved being pregnant and can't wait to do it again...

Oh you poor thing. It really is a horrible feeling. I hate the morning sickness.
My nausea was reeeeally bad with Vallerie (but then, I sat around on the couch, with the back of my hand at my forehead, basically crying "alas alack, oh woe is me, whatever is wrong with me, however will i cope, why is this happening to me" and didn't eat much at all because I felt sick  ) This time around, I have no choice but to find a way to deal with it, and the thing that has saved me is SEA BANDS
Click here for website (http://www.morningsicknesshelp.com/seabands.html)
They're accupressure bands you wear on your wrists, they push on a pressure point which stops the nauseous feeling.... not very scientific but they worked for me!! My DH said "it's all in your mind" and I was like "dude, I don't care!! Whatever stops me from feeling sick!!" :p
Also, I used to drink ginger beer/ginger ale..... it has the bubbles which helped my tummy settle, plus the ginger is a really good natural remedy for nausea. I took the Blackmores Morning Sickness Formula too, it has ginger and B6 in it. There were very reputable studies done regarding M/S recently, and they've concluded that while ginger is very effective, mixing it with B6 really helps. Or just spread some mashed banana on a ginger nut biscuit ;)

Think positively, too. Feeling sick means there's lots of baby-making hormones swimming around in your body!!

PS I have recommended Sea Bands every time someone on bubhub asks how to deal with m/s, so I just want to clarify: I do not work for the company :D

I found that the Martin and Pleasance Tissue Salts Comb S tablets for Stomach Upset crushed in warm water and drunk as per the directions on the jar gave me instant relief from morning sickness. They are homeopathic, and suitable for use during pregnancy.

Hi Scrapie, I can't remember where I posted this recently but you can find the pressure point yourself. About 2 inches (5cm) up your arm from your wrist, inbetween those two tendons that run up your arm.

I press quite firmly and it eases the wave of nausea almost immediately.

Tonight I cooked a beautiful bbq dinner after being inspired by fantastic chefs on foxtel cooking channel.

Then I sat down. Bleaugh. All I could stomach was one piece of grilled pineapple.

Boo hoo. I hate feeling like this. Hurry up morning sickness and rack off!!!!

Ok it seems to hit when I have eaten breakfast and have gone out in the car! If I don't drive anywhere I am fine, so that sucks as I usually eat breaky then drive to work :( .

It doesn't matter if I am driving or not, it seems to be the motion of the car, I used to suffer from bad motion sickness in the car as a kid.

Will have to work that one out!

well i didn't have any morning sickness thankfully. all i remember is feeling really tired in the 1st trimester. I remember nearly falling asleep at my computer a couple of times.

I know I wasn't supposed to eat prawns but my mum cooked my favourite asian spicy dish and it had prawns in it and I threw it all up after about 10 mins of eating it (TMI!). But what was hillarious is that I called out to my hubbie to get me a glass of water and in (at my parents place in their little tiny laundry that has a toilet attached) comes my mum, my dad, my dog and my hubbie to check on me. Another time we were at my friends place for dinner and I threw up there too after eating 1/2 a cooked prawn (stayed away from them after that).

Oops off the subject. I made sure I ate as soon as I got up otherwise i felt nauseas (didn't have morning sickness in the 1st trimester but had the last trimester). I had a piece of toast and glass of water with a bit of orange cordial in it and i was fine.
