I have just submitted an expression of interest to become a kids dance instructor. I used to coach kids gymnastics but since having my own children I have not done anything similar. I am excited and scared at the same time. It is basically part time to start with if I get chosen for training and obviously with more experience with their programmes I may be given more hours. Part time suits me just fine at the moment as I also Work from Home and wth PT hours DP will be able to look after the girls while I work. No daycare for DD2 just yet hopefully. DD1 is at daycare Mon - Fri and loves it, I tried cutting her days back when I had DD2 and went on maternity leave and she went nutty (would spend all day asking - dare I say begging - me to take her to daycare) so back to five days it was!

Anyway, wish me luck that I at least get a call back for my application!! Fingers crossed!!

OH good luck with it. Scmell I have my fingers crossed for you to get the job.
It would be so much fun for you, the kind of job you wake up in the morning and don't dread going to!:p .
I used to be a ballet dancer and used to teach private lessons for eisttedfords
(just the littlies). I loved it sooo much and would love to get back into it too, but I haven't seen many positions going for teaching around my area *sobs*.

Best of luck:D

The company that I applied with has studios australia wide. They mainly do music and movement. I will PM you the website.

LOL - Hannah begged for the same thing this morning - in a cute sleepy voice she looked at me with puppy dog eyes and said"mumma can I go to school". She was ever so dissappointed when I said no not today.

NB (School is what we call daycare)

Enough about me - good luck with the job application - crossing everything for you :p :D

It is a little bit heart breaking when they don't want to stay at home with boring old mum isn't it? She sits at the front door with her backpack on (empty mind you) some mornings at the moment (daycare is closed until next week) waiting to go to 'school'. It is also heart breaking watching her little face fall when I tell her she can't go today because there is no-one there:(

She just doesn't like to be around her mum 24/7.

And she has "little boyfriends" at school  so why would she want to be here I wonder
