I have told DH about compression leaks with wool... he didn't listen!

DH had bub all day, and had her in the hugabub for a few hours... he also had her in a woollen cover.

The result was a very wet baby, daddy and hugabub :laughing:

So, just giving y'all the heads up - do not put bub in a woollen cover when they will be in the sling!

At least he remembered a cover - I have explained to my Dh a number of times the principles of wet bamboo without a cover.....and he still hasn't picked that one up!!

Ooo... I'm impressed that there are dads out there who not only get into MCN nappy changes, but love babywearing too!! I know they exist though!

Having said that, DH does manage Ronan's nappy changes fine. If there is a GK available. Or the BumGenius pocket (pre-stuffed of course) ;) :D So that's 4 nappies we own that he can put on. OK, now he's reminding me here that he managed disposables 'just fine for 2 years thank you very much' :rolleyes: :laughing:

He is a gem :yes: Although, he was telling me today, that it is all because of me - he thought I was crazy when I told him about cloth and babywearing! He just went with the flow though, and now tells everyone about how good mcn's are and how great it is having her in the sling :) I luff him :hugs:
He hates pockets - he will only use the fitteds or flats - I think he was scarred when an ill-fitting pocket exploded, lol.

Hehe!

Hubby doesn't seem worried. He wore bub this morning in a BBB and no cover (though it was just to the corner shop.)

We use wool full time and in sling also (change nappy when needed) and haven't had compression leaks. Only seems to happen when he wears jeans in the pram.

Well, DH is now saying it's cause I didn't lanolise the cover properly :laughing: I think it's cause he didn't change her enough! Full nappy+in the sling+woollen cover = leaking.
