New Playgroup-Logan area

Hi everyone,

Ive decided to start a playgroup at my house. Weekly on Wednesdays from 9.30-11.30am starting this week 2/5/07.

It will be REALLY informal LOL, just a casual chat for the mums and a backyard for the kids to play.

So far there is just my friend and her 10 month old son, her SIL with 14month old son and myself & 2yr old son. We would love some more people to join us !!!!!!:fingerscrossed:

I live near the new Ikea at Logan (PM me for the address). So really anyone in the area or if you live further away and dont mind a drive your more than welcome :)

I have registered with Playgroup Australia to cover me on the insurance side of things, their yearly membership is $28 per family or $20 for concessions. You get a Toy Library card which gives access to alot of toys for you to borrow at no extra cost. You dont have to pay straight away either so dont be worried about needing money, just come along and say HI!

Im ok darl, surgery booked for end May/start June so glad its finally happening - but not looking forward to 4-6 week recovery :( They have to do a c/sect type cut rather than a laparoscopy. Oh well time flies so hopefully not out of action for too long LOL. Feel free to come next week to playgroup if you want :)

I live not far from you as well - I have 2 little boys, one aged 23 months (turns 2 on 26th of this month) and a little (enormous) baby aged 4 months.

When my first son was born I joined a playgroup on the Gold Coast and I still see those guys but I would like to meet people in this neighbourhood.

I think I would be interested in your playgroup. I have a 2y.o and a 3month old - both girls.

My 2y.o is extremely active and social - a bit like her mum.
I wanna xtend my network of friends - ones with kids. !

I live in regents park so really not that far from you. (we used to live in springwood so know the area very well.)

Love to have you join us! Its going to be big LOL. There are now 7 mums from here and 3 of my friends plus me so 11 mums and all the kids - should be good, noisy but good LOL.
