Another foreign newbie here :)

Hi everyone,

My name is Alison, I'm 32, originally from the USA. My DH is Mac, from Sweden, and he is 31. We are expecting our first child, a GIRL (yay!) in May.

We currently live in Bondi, Sydney, and as we are both from overseas and have no family here, am finding the process of being a first time mum a bit scary without a support network.

I would love to hear from anyone nearby interested in catching up! I have noticed there are a few others from overseas without family here, so perhaps we could all form our own family!

Also, if anyone knows of any groups etc that would be great!

Perfect timing.. we are having dinner this Saturday night in Surry Hills if you would like to come along and join us. There are a few of us preggy chicks and lots of mummies. Check the thread 'Sydney Girls Night Out' for details.. otherwise keep an eye out for the next one. We are trying to get together reasonably regularly. :)
