hi girls,
please, please help me. i have finished my soaker (knitted- proud me) and onto my 2. now.
so all i need to do is soak them in the lanolin thingy, but WHERE do i get lanolin??
can you help me?
(pharmacy? health food store? macro? ....)

FAULDING LANOLIN 75G
General
Faulding lanolin is a rich emollient which soothes and protects dry skin providing long lasting protection and relief.
Indications
It is ideal for use on cracked sore lips, rough chapped skin and calluses, nappy rash, dry irritated nasal tissue during colds and dry irritated skin after shaving. Manufactured from pure lanolin.
Dosage
Gently rub into the affected area. Reapply every 3-4 hours or as required.
Warnings
Contains: Lanolin, wool fat, purified water, paraffin liquid, beeswax white, quatermium-15 and fragrance.

you want something that is 100% lanolin, I think. I just use Lansinoh that I got from the chemist. hth

Yep, lansinoh for breastfeeding is perfect.

If you want to buy online there are plenty of stores that sell solid, liquid and/or spray lanolin.

so i will go and try for my chemists first...but maybe need to fall back onto the internet option anyway....

cover no.1 is soaking in lanolin :) :smiliedance:

For each cover use a pea sized amount dissolved in hot water. Put soaker in lukewarm water and pour dissolved lanolin over the top. Some ppl also add a bit of soap/detergent to disperse the solid lanolin better. I've never done this before so I'm not sure how well it goes.

I used to use Lansinoh but a couple of mths ago got some liquid lanolin. There's no way I'll use anything else anymore - it's just too good!

It's definitely a MUST on my list!
Sustainable Hemp Products is where I got mine - $10 for a bottle which lasts forever:yes: . You only need to use such a small amount.
There's a few other places that sell the liquid but can't remember off the top of my head. I think The Wee Wuns might, and possibly Baby Soft Landings.
