I have had 3 terminations... All of my children have been conceived using contraception methods, the pill, IUD, depo provera, but I have a condition which makes my hormone imbalance perfect for conception when I use hormonal intervention. I am aparently infertile too!
I want to say that I do regret the terminations now that i've had them, I want to tell you why but I can't. Not on here. I felt alone when I went in for each of them, and even more alone now i've had them.
The nursing staff were great, the atmosphere was excellent and I never felt judged by anyone there. The first termination took 6 hours to complete as it was at a hospital, but the 2 times after that I went to a private clinic and I paid for it to be done.
I had counselling before and after, but I only wish I was more informed on the whole procedure. It's a case of dont ask and we won't tell you... Now I know, and I am glad I was able to move on with my life at the time after the procedures, but hoping for a more informative future for those who make a decision to have them done for whatever reason.
It takes a great deal of inner strength to terminate and not everyone has that. Don't let anyone judge who you are by your decision to not keep your baby.
