Well the title says it all really.
I got an awsome pair of longies and they only just fit over my DDs sandman. The rise is actually a tiny bit small. Can I somehow stretch or should I sell and get some different ones?

noooooooooooooooooooooo
This wool thing is all too hard.
I'm so tempted to just use disposables for night!

The problem is............
Well the problem is that disposables are just easier. I just chuck one on and put her flannalet PJs over the top.
With a cloth nappy I need to bulk her up until she waddles and then put a cover on. I thought longies were the go but I waited for ages to get these and they are the wrong size!
I got a soaker a few weeks back and didn't realise that you really need shorties to go over a night nappy. Now I have 2 woolen items that are useless because I only use AIOs and pockets during the day.
My DD is 12 kg. With the longies on she was almost being cut in half at her belly.
I tell you disposables are very easy!!!!

Oh well, if you want to use sposies go ahead.
It does take a bit of trial and error to get cloth working at night though.
It is a bother when you get something and it doesnt fit, what a shame.
At least the resale is really good. :D
Could you boost an AIO for night?
Or alternatively get a pair of longies which are bigger. Ask a WAHM to knit some for you.
I have a large Loveybums wool cover for sale...or check out ebay and buyforbaby.

I've sent a e-mail off to the supplier and hopefully she will be understanding and let me upsize.
For now though we are back to disposables.

Actually you can try blocking the longies if you can't swap....
check out here (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Blocking_%28knitting%29) and here (http://knitting.about.com/od/learntoknit/a/blocking_knits.htm)
Can I see a pic? It is possible to knit above the waist though it may not have the same look. Just depends on what waist it has.

I'd try and swap for a pair that fits  It's a shame with something is the wrong size, it's happened to me too.. But it takes trial and error to find a cloth system that works for each baby- but once you find it, everything is so easy- no more wet sheets and a comfy, dry bubby! Longies are lovely in winter. But if you are finding yourself a bit put off wool, there are some good PUL covers out there too, such as the Motherease Airflow. Wool is fantastic though! :D

I've just got an e-mail back from the supplier (Virgo knits). Sharyn was wonderful and said it was no problem if I wanted to upsize.
She asked if I could take measurements around my night nappies so the fit would be perfect.
She said she would knit me something up ASAP. Wow. I think that means I'm getting a custom pair.
WAHM are just so awsome.
