I have two pregnant friends who have shown interest in my MCNs so I have decided to get them both an MCN as a present.....but what to get?

I started using MCN when DS2 was 3 months old so didn't really need any newborn nappies....

What did you use on your newborn for a good fit? Pocket? AIO? Fitted? And what brands have small sizes?

i'm totally biased, but i liked fitted pockets with terry outer so they could be done up with a snappi - they dry fast, and are very adjustable with the snappi fastening. snappiable fitteds would be good too, but take longer to dry.

After a week with a nb in mcn, Id definately say pockets! Ive got all types, and love my pockets the best, in fact, its all Im using atm..

I hated pockets for a nb... they didn't seem to contain Olivia's breastfed pooslosions, however, I didn't have nb sized pockets, but I wouldn't trust a pocket to keep it all in. I loved my snappiable fitteds though - very easy to get a good fit. However, as a gift to get someone into MCN, I'd say a nb size fleece AIO would be a great present - for the cutsie factor :D

I was picking up a wholesale order from Darlings, and I had a look at all the different types she had. The kissaluvs looked DEVINE soft sherpa with a special dip were the buibs cord is, so they stay dry. and soooooooo cute...I need a newborn again lol.

i got the cutest little honeyboy for my DD when she is born. its an AIO. but i was thiking about buying some terry flats or prefolds and using covers til she is a bit older than go crazy buying lots of nappies. it seems hard to find nappies to ft newborns.

I have kissaluvs - yes cute as, but need extra boosting with my big weer!! BBB are great, but a little large for my teeny girl, but she is growing so fast they are starting to fit better, I have also found the natural are a smaller fit compared to the colours (has anyone else noticed this??)

I have found the sets from Ekinda on wahmania great, you get 3 nappies and a cover, so so cute and absorbent! I want more of these! Also touchin cloth has some cute newborn aio, and they work great too!

Oh, hope I am allowed to say the names of where I brought them ...... (sorry, if I'm not supposed to!!)
