Bad Taste

Hi just wondering if any one else has had a bad taste in the mouth during pregnancy Im 14 weeks and have consantly had this metal taste in mouth, its not heartburn, is it just hormones? will it go away? Does anyone know, cant find any information. HELP

i have a taste of detergent with certain things i eat and its like a after taste, the best way to explain it is its like i havent rinsed my dishes properly....its more so like a fragrant perfume though...apparently it passes, wish it would now!! considering i can stomach food again it would be nice to enjoy it

Yep....tastes like you have a tiny piece of tin foil in there somewhere?

Chewing gum helped me a little....and yes it eventually does go away.

I have no idea what causes it either.

I would have a Dental checkup as woman suffer teeth probs when pregnant and a metallc taste can mean something up in this area.

Otherwise as said prob hormonal, ask GP etc if persists or really worrying you.

Yep ive had it both times now yuck !

Seems to be some days are worse than others so maybe it is hormonal not sure !

A check up with your dentist & g.p like Punky Diva suggested wouldnt hurt !
