Get Together In The New Year No2

Afternoon ladies, since we're in the New Year I thought i'd post this thread about get togethers in the new year. First article of interest

1) Play group meeting at Kimmaree's place at Murrumba Downs on the 18 January at 10am

2)Morayfield shopping centre lunch with the kids next week

3)A swim at one of the swimming pools up on Northside of Brisbane

4) Another ladies night out(some of us mums couldn't make the last one and we missed out on all the fun

5)Something we can all do together for Australia Day

6) Picnic for us mums and kids who haven't met each other yet

7) Play group at Kims will start on the 8th of Febuary Kim is first contact person and i'm second contact person

I would welcome any other ideas you lovely ladies have to offer. Thank

I don't have a babe in arms yet which is why I didn't reply but thought I would say hi after seeing your other post!

As you can see I don't live in Brisbane but I am there fairly regularly over weekends every few weeks or so (or will be until travel becomes impossible). Northside is great for me if I'm welcome to attend but I don't know dates so I can't say one way or the other!

Hi Alison,

I work casual so don't know my hours from week to week, however if I'm not working I'm interested in whatever is going on.

I just noticed we've got a new member with a newborn (5 weeks) that lives in Northlakes (her name is Gabrielle). So keep an eye out for her, she's interested in meeting new friends too.

Keep me updated on what is happening and when, is it okay to bring my older girls (8 and 11) with me (provided they're not at school?).

Afternoon ladies,thanks for the replys. Shelly i'll keep you posted on what we decide. I'm trying to organise a meet up at Morayfield shopping centre next week for lunch with the kids. Hi Nickster,no i'm planning on having a get together at south bank this month too. Let me know who can make it. When i get more mums,mums to be and dad's interested then i'll work out the days,times ect.
On the 18th of this month if anyones interested in comming to Kimmaree place for our play group meeting let me know. thanks

Absolutely interested in the playgroup meet, and picnic for mum's who haven't met eachother yet. Great suggestions. Will keep checking for updates. Look forward to meeting you all.
