Sorry, not sure what else to call it but MJ's been doing it heaps lately. She try's to rub her ear on her shoulder  Could it be teething? Or maybe an ear infection?

Hey RB
My son Jayden was doing that and well actually still does. I went and saw the doctor and he said it was an ear ache caused from teething.

Thanks for that. I'm thinking that her teeth might be on the move. Fun times ahead

She could just be trying to rub her ear on her shoulder because it feels good and it makes mummy react :) Babies are mostly healthy, RB ;)

That too, its just soo cute :p I just worry, cant help it :)
RB
Sick babies are pretty obvious. Let go of the worry, it doesn't actually make her healthier, stop her getting sick or enhance your life. Just relax and marvel at how beautifully she's growing on your milk and in your bed *hugs* Try assuming the best ;)

Hmmm RB I would like to sit down and be paranoid with you.
Luka has started scrabbling and clawing at his ears, he seems pretty happy but I do wonder why he is doing it.
O, at 17 months, still does weird stuff with his ears. And trust me there's nothing wrong with them.
Try not to worry too much, kids do funny things.;)

YAY< I have company :p
I've heard its a developmental thing, & can be from teething.
Let me know when the paranoia starts preventing illness ;)

Trust me it doesnt. I actually got a "talking to" off the Drs because I took MJ there twice to get a diagnosis on a bad rash she had & she was really unsettled. Way to make me feel like a bad parent :(
RB
You poor love. Wildly inappropriate of that doctor! When there's something obviously wrong that's a good response to seek help. And they wonder why we don't go to them  For future rashes, try the Sears site. It's great :)

I usually find bubs does this when he is teething but when he first started it seemed to be not long after he found the wonders of his hands & feet ! So obviously ears were awesome & the next greatest faze heheheh now he just thinks its great to sit in his highchair sucking on his big toe
Dont worry i got paranoid about him grabbing his ears because ive had bad ear infections before & dont want him getting one. So now i just keep an eye on him, if he keeps doing it with the same ear or was getting extremely cranky/sooky & a temp id take him straight to the doctors cause really you want to get it sorted straight away if it is an infection not much fun for them.
Thats us caring mums for you just wanting to make sure our bubs are well so we turn all paranoid & over protective hehehe.
