Hi, i am in my 3rd month TTC 1.
I know i haven't been trying as long as some of you, but i feel so scrared that i will never be able to conceive the natural way.
Two of my close friends, my two cousins and sister-in-law all conceived pretty much right away (1-2 months) and i am begining to wonder will i be the one with problems?
When my Dh was a teen, something happen with his testies (twisted during sport, or something like that) and he has some sort of metal plate inside. At the time the doc's didn't say it would effect his sperm or fert.
When will the doc's bother testing his sperm?
I would like to hear from others who are TTC and feel like it will never happen...

Hi singa, :hugs: Sorry u r feeling this way but hang in there i tried for over a year and finally got BFP after two M/C. It's very hard when AF turns up and u think u where in with a chance. I too felt like it would never happen. When i got my BFP last month we had stopped trying and decided to have fun and Bingo a very unexpected BFP.

For some of us it doesnt happen straight away. I suggest with ur DH go to your doctor and ask for a Sperm Analysis this will tell u if there is a problem or not.

I hope that you get your BFP soon, try not to stress it will happen

All the best

Hi

I am in the same boat sorta, except it is on my side.
My family has a history of taking it time or having problems, cancer etc.

But try and stay positive and it may all b fine.

Best of Luck

I was TTC for over a year before the doc finally sent me to a fertility specialist. Turns out I have PCOS and I needed Clomid to make me ovulate. But since your partner has an old injury maybe the doc's will do something for you guys sooner... If I was you I would just go to the doc and ask him.
I am not going to say to "Just Relax" coz I know when I was TTC I felt like punching anybody who said that! But I will say try to have "Fun" with your TTC journey. I know its stressful and I really feel for you. I was TTC for 16 months before we finally got our BFP. It was a long, stressful journey but we made it in the end. And so will you!
GOOD LUCK!!
:hugs:

Hi there singa!

I know the worst, most patronising thing you can hear from people when you are TTC and it's taking longer than you'd hoped, is "Don't stress. It'll happen when the time is right" etc. etc. etc. BUT, that is honestly what I'd love to say to you, and mean it!! :hugs:

I believe the average length of time for successful conception with a normal, healthy couple having intercourse at the right times etc is something like 6 months. Most Dr's won't even bother seeing you before then (and often before 12 months!) unless there is a strong indication there could be an issue.

We had "unexplained infertility" while TTC #1 and it took us 26 months of actively trying. Then totally out of the blue, it happened!! I found out we were expecting on my 29th birthday - best present ever!!

With #2, we didn't know how long it'd take so didn't bother with contraception and we fell PG almost immediately!

So what I'm saying is, even though you are concerned, try not to be. It can happen. It will happen! :D

I wish you all the very best!!
