nappy paste is cream that you put on bubs bum after each change to prevent nappy rash or treat it. i use it for each change
Ah ok! Just a different term - I've only ever heard it called nappy cream!

I've never used it much, but when I did I used Bepanthen.

i thought that was the case you would have just used a different name lol
I rarely ever use anything - just fresh air. The only time dd2's ever had a rash is if she's done a poo overnight and hasn't woken up! A bit of Pawpaw salve (simmon's oil based, not Lucas' petrochemical based) clears it up within the day.

we use sudocreme...tried a few others and didnt like them.
the pastes i find are a bit different to the creams and much more effective....they pretty much clear up the start of any rash over night...the one i use is one made up by PMH here in perth and sold in varoius chemists..i think its called babysafe or something nappymate or i cant remember as i need some more...
Paw Paw Cream is often good. Otherwise just plain zinc and castor oil is fantastic.

We either use cornflour or Brauers Nappy Rash Cream. Its great being natural its not gunky like most nappy creams so rubs in & clears up an rash in hours !
But air is the best

I too was intrigued by the thread title so am having a snoop in case some new fandangled stuff to do with new fandangled clothies. I feel so old and out of touch sometimes reading these threads.
I too used cornflour instead of commercial talc (used an old spice bottle with shaker lid) and another Sudocrem enthusiast.
when my DS had real bad nappy rash i found sudocreme and bepanthen to be absolute rubbish....his rash was so bad it started to weep and bleed and those two nappy rash creams wouldnt even stick to the rash so if i couldnt apply it its not gonna work right.....
the only thing i found that is tried and true to work is the lucas paw paw ointment. it takes only overnight to start clearing up....and it works because it actually sticks to the rash...iykwim
will never go back to using sudocreme or bepanthen ever ever again
