hello everyone...
so the story is....i have endometriosis, the beginnings of fibroids & polycystic ovaries. My periods are extremely irregular & since having my daughter 9 months ago i have only had my period once.

so for the last week i have been feeling really sick & dizzy:barf:
i thought that i might be pregnant as me & my DH have been trying to concieve now for 5 months. i went along to the doctor & had a blood test......unfortunately the test results came back negative.:(

about a month ago i started bleeding really badly & had so much pain in my back & stomach....i figured that it was just my period but the doctor now thinks that it may have been a miscarraige, but he can't understand why i would still be feeling ill from it?
he has told me to come back & have another pregnancy test in 3 weeks just to be sure. But i am so confused. would it have been my period or a miscarraige? how can i tell?
i would desperately love to be pregnant again but i really don't know what to think if i have miscarried!
how early can you get a positive result for pregnancy?

i'm sorry if i'm not making any sense or just rambling on but i'm trying to get everything out of my head & onto the page.
at the moment i just feel so numb.....

I don't really have any advice but just wanted to give you a couple of these :hugs: .

The earliest that I have tested accurately is the day that AF was due. Someone else must have some advice here though....

:hugs:

I was 6.5 weeks a long when I found out I was pregnant. 8 weeks late though.

The period I had before finding out was the worst, most painful and most irregular.
I thought I was going to die it was that painful. :(

Good luck though, I will cross my fingers for you.

:fingerscrossed:

Wow, it sounds like you have been on an emotional roller-coaster. Is it your GP that you are seeing or a specialist? I had a miscarriage in Dec last year and still have not had AF return - I was seeing my GP who put me on the pill for 3 months. Nothing was happening so I went back to the specialist that performed the D&C and he is taking some action - blood tests, ultra-sound to see what is going on in there, testing my hormones, etc. Now it looks like it might be ashermans syndrome, which can effect my ability to carry a baby, especially the longer you leave it the worse it gets. That is the worst case scenario, but it is still a possibility that they need to rule out ASAP. I guess what I am trying to say is that in my experience a 'wait and see' approach with things that are out of the ordinary is not the best thing.

I'm sorry to hear you are having such a hard time - I hope you get some answers soon. Good luck to you and DH.
