From the moment I found out I was preggo I went out and started using:
Mornings: Palmers Pregnancy Massage Lotion (it's called something like that)
Nights: Bio-Oil
I use both because although the Bio Oil isnt too oily i cant imagine putting clothes on after using it so I only use it in the nights so I can get into bed and not worry about it getting on clothes. Not that it stains, my sheets seem to be ok (sometimes I wear a nightie but sometimes not!). I do put a towel under the sheet just incase as we have a very expensive mattress and I dont want oil to seep onto that!
Dont know if it will help, im pretty sure to that if your gonna get them you are gonna get them, im hoping its hereditary (as some say it is) as both my sister and my Mum got none!)
BUT I must say that the Bio Oil does help with scarring. Because I have PCOS i sometimes get cystic acne on my lower back which leaves scarring, i rub the bio oil in there to and i swear they have faded heaps!

I also used Palmers stretch mark lotion/cream all the way through my pregnancy and also Sanctuary Mom to be lotion...
I ended up have a couple of tiny lines on each hip after bub was born, not very noticeable at all...

I used normal Vitamin E cream on my tum all the way through my pregnancy with DS and I got not one stetch mark. This time I am using the Palmers Cocoa butter Stretch mark lotion - whatever it is called.

I used palmers for stretch marks and Bio Oil in the end BUT I ended up with a tummy full off stretch marks :( , I am still using the bio-oil to try and fade them and they look like they have, I suppose in a couple of years they will be better.

Hi,
I tried to use the Palmers cream, but can't squeeze the stuff out of the bottle, it's that thick!!
I use 'Tinderbox' pregnancy belly rub oil that was given to me as a gift. It's from a W.A (Balingup)company that specialises in pure plant blend essential oils. All of the oils used are safe for pregnancy and it smells REALLY nice. It's meant to be soothing on your bubby too.
So far so good, although my sister (who is 38 weeks atm) told me she just woke up one morning a few weeks ago, and bango, she had stretchmarks!! Has this happened to anyone else?
Thinking when the tinderbox runs out, I( might get some Bio-oil if I can't find another bottle of the Tinderbox somewhere.

I have heard heaps about this Bio Oil stuff, might have a look at the shops for it. Sounds like it is pretty popular.
i've decided i'm going to do the bio oil and palmers coca butter morning and evening, somewhere this week they have bio oil for only $20, so thats cheap
