Hello Ladies! Well, Elle began a thread about 6 weeks ago about us Young Sydney Mums meeting up! Whats the latest? From what I can see the following lovely ladies have all put their hands up to come out!

If you wanna come out - just let us know. When are you girls free? I was thinking of Saturday the 14th of Jan. I cant do the 21st or 28th (sorry), but could go for Sat 4th Feb too.

Any suggestions? I think someone suggested Luna Park - but I think there are a few girls on the Western side - maybe we could meet somewhere more central?

City is a hassle for me, especially public transport lol (i'm enough of a klutz without a pram tyvm!)

Any date is good except possibly the 26th jan as it's my dads birthday... 4th feb is my sisters but she'll be on the p*ss :p just thought I'd mention it lol

I suppose location would depend on what people like doing?

I like the beach!! I am in the parramatta area if it is over towards town maybe us girls from the west can car pool or catch public transport together (I am pretty good at that). To be quite honest I am happy to go anywhere as long as I am out of the house!!

Im still up for it...i think beach would be good too, i love the southern beaches like Austinmeer etc...That beach is great as it has a food shop across the road, a grassy shady area for us to sit and lots of baby places for them to go in the water!:p
The 14th would suit me perfectly!!!

It sounds as though the 14th is the best date in general... Except Schmell (Kelly) cant make that date... What about if we left it til the 4th of Feb? Gives us all a bit more time up our sleeves.

The beach sounds a fab idea. Which beach did you girls have in mind? With all this hot weather, a nice glass of iced chocolate will go down well!

it seems that all these meet ups it is always me who can't make the date of the masses!! I feel so unco :rolleyes: !! But seriously, if you guys can all make the 14th then go for it and maybe I will be able to get there if our house moving goes quickly - I am happy to leave the boys lugging & unpacking boxes while I take the girls to the beach.....hehehehehe

I am still not sure if we are moving this weekend or the next, damn real estate agents can't give a straight answer!!

Gotta love real estates hey. I have just got off the phone to mine. I want to get a cat (need someone to hug while DH is away!) to request permission to have a cat. Thought we would do the right thing. He just gave me a big fat NO WAY!

We have been there for almost a year now and they have never done a single inspection... I dont really understand how a cat is going to change anything... Oh well.

I will be so glad when we finally buy our own place, it got put on hold when DD2 came along as I wanted to take a full year off this time because I couldn't when I had DD1 and I wanted to spend the time with both girls. Anyway, now we have to rent for another year at least and deal with painful real estates - the silliest thing is that it is the same real estate we rent through now and they are rushing us to be out of here so demolition can begin and yet won't give us an answer on what date the other property will be ready :rolleyes:

Maybe we should try to organise a weekly or fortnightly meet up all around different areas so eventually we can all make it at the same time and eventually we will have all met!! Just a thought....

I think that just to start the 14th of Jan seems to suit the most amount of people (sorry Kelly!) Which beach did you girls have in mind? I'm on the Eastern side so I'm not too familiar with beaches past Coogee... It seems that most of you ladies are on the Western side of town... Any suggestions?

North Bondi is always a good place as it has a grassed area with BBQ's and it is close to the water and the actual beach - I hate sand!! Love the beach, hate the sand - go figure.

But as I MIGHT be coming, I really don't have a say....hhhmmmm ;)

There isn't ANY beaches on the Eastern side that are easy to get to with a bub on public transport... Are there any elsewhere?

And I totally understand. I love the beach and hate the sand too. Actually, I dont hate the sand, I just hate that it can wind up in all sorts of cracks and crannys!!!

Hello Ladies!

Well, after an awesome night out with some other Sydney ladies last night (who are also MORE than welcome to come this weekend ;) ) I am all revved up and keen to organise this Saturday.
