sleep attire for tonight

If you are in sydney - you will know that it is still DAMN hot! We are one of the poor unfortunates that do not have air con - so have been sitting infront of fans.

Have put DS to bed in his 0.5 tog sleeping bag with just a nappy on and his little floor fan whirling around on low .

What are your bubs going to sleep in tonight?

It was 30-0dd last night at bedtime and Conor wore a nappy and a singlet to bed. We have a ceiling fan.

I'm on the central coast & MJ's in nappy & singlet but still boiling. She's refusing to sleep :(

My bub has slept in a nappy, singlet and a loose no-sleeve jumpsuit for the last few nights and she has been fine with just the ceiling fan on.

I just heard on the news how hot sydney was today... YUCK:eek: !! I hope that heat wave doesn't head up here....

I have ds in nappy & singlet... dd will probably go to bed in a short sleeve romper...
It's probably not as hot as sydney here but definately muggy!!

tilly is in a nappy and pyjama shorts, no top, and she has a little desk fan on a chair next to her cot blowing on her. the boys have no tops on either and a fan on and i have just opened their windows for awhile to let in the lovely southerly that has started to come through :)

i can't believe how hot it is here.. Tonight my girls are wearing singlet pj tops and boxers, with a pan directly over there beds.. I was in Townsville for 2 weeks and they had a temp of 42 when i arrived, i thought that was hot, but i feel today is hotter than that.. Especially when the breeze is hot!

My bubs usually sleeps in a singlet & shorts over his nappy otherwise he pulls it off hehehe :rolleyes: but i also have the singlet all in ones which i use as it stops this also as well as being a cooler option & i use a little desk fan which blows directly onto his cot.
What happened to that lovely southerly ?!?!?!?!?!?!?!? :mad:

oh that southerly hit... extremely windy... didn't help much though.

I have an aircon (sooorrrryyyy), but don't have it on much (just a quick cool down). I usually put DD in something light, tonight shes in a very thin cotton singlet suit, and wrapped up in muslin...

She was quite good today, even before cooling. I was sweating like a pig just lying in bed, and she was sound asleep and not even heating up! good thing, but I'm jealous :p

my two are in light cotton pj shirts and their nappies. we also only have pedestal fans but unfortunately my little man has my lungs .... takes sick as soon as there is a draft so I'm in for yet another lovely restless sleep as he can't get the full blow of the fan. There is nothing worse than having a chest infection in a heat wave ..... poor bugger!!

We have air con but only downstairs & OMG does it hurt to go upstairs on a day like today !!!!! :eek:
We kept bubs downstairs until the southerly hit so it was cooler for him up there finally but it just got really windy & then went whats with that ?!?!?!??!!?
I just want it to rain for a week im not asking too much am i :rolleyes:


eleanor - Poor bubby !!!!!! Hopefully this heat settles soon (wishful thinking right) & bubs gets over his infection even sooner !

Last night was murder. Our room was like an oven & MJ refused to settle. I eventually got her to sleep at 11pm in just a nappy.

Today's better, but i realy miss winter :(
