My 2 week old baby girl is having both breast milk and formula. Just today she is suffering from wind and I have tried to bring it up with no luck. Has antone tried coloxyl drops and can a newborn take them?

Thanx

Coloxyl is generally for constipation. Try something like Infacol.

That is what I thought but someone told me that it also helped with wind. Did you have any luck with Infacol or what about Infants Friend?

I agree Infacol or Infant's friend much better idea. Coloxyl is for backed up bums.
I've used both Infacol and IF with my babies from newborn and they're fine. Worked very well (I have very windy babies too).

I would try something like Brauers Colic relief.

But I do have Troy on Coloxyl drops ATM and you can use them for newborns as it all passes through their system, there is nothing left in their systems.

My DS1 paed said that Coloxyl drops can cause tummy cramps and spasms, so probably not good to use if bub already has wind. He didn't like them at all and would not recommend them to parents.
