Hi all

Well it's pouring down with rain here so we are stuck at home.

I NEED to get little miss doing something active so she'll have a rest after lunch and therefore be able to get her off to bed in the evening with no hassles.... you know what I mean......

Anyhooo, anyone got any ideas?
I need to wear her out!

how about, put some couch cushions on the floor, and get her to jump from one to the other, and the rules are not to touch the floor or a shark will get her! The jumping to and from should get her heart pumping, and if u want, you could build little castles at each end of the room/house, and she has to make it from one to the other, carrying something to the other or something like that :fingerscrossed: Good luk
(ps - miss ya)

Hehe, rhythmic gymnastics! Make ribbons and hoops etc.

Does she like dancing? Dance together for a bit to some funky tunes - good exercise for you too!!

Ok, so for about 2 hours we danced to...... the Tin Lids  :o
It was the only kid's type CD I could find! (Must buy some more!!!)
Thoroughly wore her out, although she wouldn't have a nap after lunch she did have a rest and should be well and truly ready for bed at a decent time :smiliedance:
Geez it was hard work tho

To wear DD out before bed we play a game of 'ready set go' and she runs around the lounge, then stops and waits for me to say it again. I don't have to do a thing, except say 'ready set go.'
