Hi everyone,
My nine month old son has always been a good night sleeper but on and off since three months old he has struggled with day sleeps. Because of this i have crept around the house all the time when he is asleep. However now he is nine months old and seems to be a bit better i would really like to loosen up as i feel frustrated when people visit etc. Just a little nervous though as i dont want all the hard work to go too waste. Does anyone else do this or any i being parinoid!

I have always been told not to be quit when they are sleep just go about what you usually do other wise they wont be good sleepers.
Well this worked for Jakob i could do anything when he was sleeping.
But with Chloe is was a different story she was never a good sleeper the only thing i could get away with when she was asleep was the vacuuming & as a result to that one she is terrified of the vacuum cleaner now lol.
Have you tried playing some music when he is asleep some times this helps them sleep better.

Hi Kimmy,
I have the same thing with my 3 month old. Great sleeper during the night but not during the day so I too try to keep quiet during her nap time. Mind you nap time during the day lasts for about an hour. So it would be great to hear some opinions on this topic.

I've never crept around while Andrew slept. I was given the great advice while I was pregnant to let the baby get used to 'normal' house noise so they could fall asleep no matter what, no matter where.

I do try to keep away from Andrews end of the house while he is sleeping, but I certainly don't tip-toe around!

Yesterday a mirror fell in our bathroom, right next to Andrews room and made a HUGE crashing noise and I jumped out of my skin at the other end of the house...Andrew just kept on sleeping. lol. nothing wakes him up if he's not ready to wake up! just like his dad :D

Yep i too was told about not making things to quiet but that being said if he is having a bad day i will just sit & watch t.v while he naps that way he will sleep but my bubs goes to sleep when i vacuum or use my hair dryer hehehe tis great means i get bubs off to sleep as well as a bit of cleaning !! Of course this then means more time on bubhub :p
