To tell the truth not really, sore breast a bit, but though maybe due for my period. The only thing was like feeling sick for not really any reason, found out morning sickness....... it's only early days for me (8weeks). so all freash in my brain. hope thats what your after. take care jo (new mum to be)

I knew I was pregnant by the feeling in my lower abdomen. I can feel my ligaments stretching and I was getting lower back pain. I suppose that having 4 children prior I can recognise the symptoms of pregnancy. I knew I was pregnant even before my period was due. Even though I tested 5 days before and I got a negative response I knew that I was pregnant. I did another pregnancy test a day before and it came back positive. I haven't had any morning sickness yet but it will probably come shortly. I am also getting tired more easily which is another sympton.

I'm 28 weeks pregnant with my first and i just knew from the day my period was due. Still can't believe it happened as quickly as it did.

Yep I could tell - first time I was about 4 weeks gone and had tender breasts and an awful feeling in my abdomen like I was being prodded from the inside with something sharp and pointy - that made me feel awful

Second time I had 2 beers at the pub and felt sick and knew straight away that must have been it - I even mentioned it to a friend there that night sort of half joking but I was right - that stage I was probably about 5 weeks.

I had never really kept track of my period so I hadn't noticed that I'd missed one but for some reason I knew in both cases as soon as I felt the above that I was pregnant

I went to the blood bank to donate plasma and had a reaction to the anticoagulant which I had had several times before. Then I noticed my cups to tea tasted funny.... then a week later I did the test and wala! i was pregnant (5 weeks!). :)

I knew I was pregnant only a couple of weeks into it. I was so tired and felt really sick all the time. My body was telling me that something was wrong. So i knew before my period was even due.

About a week after conceiving (a week before my period was due), I could tell I was pregnant. I woke up with my heart beating a lot faster or harder than normal, and it continued for days or even weeks. It has been like this each time for me, so I know the signs pretty well by now! Other friends have said that they can actually 'feel' the implantation, kind of like a digging, needling feeling in the lower tummy area. Good luck!!!

i am about 6 weeks now... the very first thing that i noticed was that i could not stop going to the toilet!...

i did so many tests, many of them came back negative, I got a positive result 1 week after my period was due.

i had a feeling in my stomach too... i still can't beleived it happened so quick...w ewere tyhinking 6 months at least... but i had only been off the pill 1 month

The first sign I noticed was my sore breasts at 3 - 4 weeks (felt like I had gone a few rounds with Mundine! ), I kinda dismissed them (thinking that my hormones had just changed after going off the pill)- we had only been TTC for four weeks!!

week 5 included lack of appetite (VERY weird for me) and (lots of) lack of sleep- I got up and cleaned the kitchen at two in the morning!

haven't had fully fledged morning sickness yet, just waves of all day nausea- yuck...

I posted the same sort of question as this last month (our first month of TTC No.3). I was getting very sore breasts, exhaustion, all the obvious signs. Then my period came and then I was diagnosed with mastitis, which has the same sort of signs as early pregnancy. So it just goes to show that what you think are definite signs might not be definite signs after all.

With No.1 I had the sore breasts and extreme exhaustion a few days before my period was due. It was unexpected and so I wasn't looking for the signs, but they were too obvious to ignore.

With my 2nd there were no obvious signs like with the first. However, I've just recollected that the reason I dared to test before my period was due was not because of any signs I might have, but because the signs I usually have pre-period were not there (ie: get cramping a few days beforehand, which being 12 d.p.o. is just a little late for implantation pains).

So perhaps stop looking for the obvious signs and start noticing what signs you are NOT getting. That's what I'm going to do.

i am so stressed n loosing my mind i have had preg symptoms for the last 3 and a half months, i have an 18 month old son. i have had 3 periods but they r not normal colour or consitency and i had a pos hpt but neg blood test and they found nuthing in ultrasound but just the other night i have started to feel movement wooshing and pushing into my skin in my lower abdomen. i feel like im going crazy n dont know what to think n did know were to write all this i might be in the wrong forum i just wish someone could help me understand what is going on n i swear the movement is not gas because it dont hurt n i dont need to pass wind. sorry this is so long

When did you get a positive HPT?
When did you have a blood test?
When did you have an US?

If they did an ultrasound and there was nothing there, I'd be surprised if you were pregnant.

It sounds as if this isn't normal for you, ruling out gas, etc. I'd consider going back to the doctors, it might be something else and should really be sorted out.

thanks kema i think i might see dr again im thinking what if it is possibly ectopic pregnancy or something n i had the ultrasound last week n the blood test n hpt were a fwe weeks ago, i just dont know whats going on :(

My first sign was the day my period was due and I noticed my heart was beating heaps faster. The next sign was sore breasts and no period.

Well I would get some period pain and buy pads...thinking 'yep my period's coming!!' But then I wouldn't be cranky like I normally am...and I wouldn't get a zit like a normally do, then by the time the day my period is due arrives...the period pain has gone!!! So then I'd do a test and I'd be pregnanct.

This time, however, was a little different, I'd been having irratic periods, sometimes they were up to 2 weeks late and I'd be testing and testing and I wouldnt' be pregnant. So when my period was late this time, I didn't do anything. I got some pains, like I normally would but there were a few other changes too...like I suddenly got tired and run down! And then I had diarreora and I though "Hey this feels like pregnancy" and did a test at the shopping centre. And was mighty surprised when it came up postitive. This was all about a week and a half after my due date.

With William i was on my way home from a trip to QLD and stopped at KFC for dinner. I thought i had food poisoning, but i didnt think FP lasts for over a week. DF kept telling me that i have the flu and there is no need to go to the doctors as there is nothing they could do for it. :laughing::laughing::laughing:

With Charlie, he was planned, so i did a test as soon as it was possible.

I always got indigestion within 3 days of getting DTD that made me pregnant IYKWIM.
