Hi Girls,
i was jsut after some advice. I had some spotting on Friday so i went to the hospital and they did a scan and my bubba had a heart beat and all looked ok so they sent me home. Last night when i went to the toilet i had smears of red blood when i wiped but waiting the 8 hrs at the hospital it went again anyway i was finally seen and told i have a severe bladder infection this is all the bleeding it, im still a bit scared that it is more, i have had no cramps etc and the bleeding hasn't increased but there are more smears this arvo. Im really worried its more then the infection ?? What are your thoughts ?? They didnt do a scan last night so i cant say bubs is fine but the friday one was fine. :crying:

You're not cramping so that is good, but I would go back to either the hospital or your GP and get their opinion... Tell them you're worried and you want a scan done...

All the best and :fingerscrossed: everything is OK

i was thinking the same thing i just find it weird that i have no other symptoms other than the bleeding and i have had a few of them and by the time i am wiping blood im in so much pain etc. I might ring the doc's and see when i can get in. I would have thought though if it was a m/c it would increase it goes away and comes its not enough to put any thing on the pad. My DH just keeps getting mad and saying everything thing is fine stop making a fuss.

demand a scan. I hope everything is fine, did they give you meds for the infection?

i asked my GP to refer me when i was preg with DS as I had bad cramping and pains at 11 weeks, she sent me straight for a scan that afternoon.

I got Antibiotics and i have to go back to my doc in a week to get a pee test again as he said it was a quite rare and hard to treat infection and quite severe so i dunno. part of me thinks yep thats it the other half is in shear panic and my DH isnt helping if i mention a scan he goes off i told you its all fine, we only saw the doc last night blah blah typical MALE :gloomy:
