Well, this week we have passed a milestone of sorts. DD2 is now pretty much TT, which means that I am no longer shackled to my nappy bag.

Hooray :smiliedance:

I have really missed my handbags and am so looking forward to leaving the nappy bag behind for good. Yes, I may still need to carry snacks, drinks and wipes - but no change mat, nappies, lotion, hand sanitiser.

It is a little bittersweet (my baby is a baby no more), but - ahh - the freedom (and colour co-ordinatedness :D).

It is sooooo much easier to just take your handbag (and you're right - sSOoooo much nicer)....

I am eyeing off a nice red Hobo bag atm....Wanna come shopping?:D

Don't get me wrong, I've also chosen a lovely funky OiOi nappy bag for if/when we are lucky enough to use it :o

I would love to :smiliedance:. I haven't bought a handbag in over 6 years (with just one exception, it was on sale :D).

my mum bought my a lovely green one for christmas
considering i had DS christmas eve i still havent got to use it!

You've got about 3 years left before you do too :laughing:. (Unless you get one of those cute baby change wallets that I couldn't be bothered with).

Actually shopping the other day I saw a gorgeous handbag & was more than ready to part with the $ for it & then I went "Oh like when am I ever going to use that in the near future" lol. Although I do have to say we have graduated from the nappy bag to a small princess backpack :laughing:
