Help me make a training pant/ swimpant...

Hello :wave:

I need some ideas on how to make a pattern and nappy... Im making my nefhew a training pant.. I want it to be a pull up with no snaps or velrco...

I havent seen one IRL, or a pattern, so i need some help to get my head around it, and what the difference would be from my normal pocket nappies?

I plan to use a PUL hidden layer and either microfleece or sherpa as a liner.

Any help would be TOPS!

I read this yesterday but obviously I'd be no help - I'm having trouble just adapting the Wee Weka pattern to what I want :laughing:

Maybe have a look at the training pants at Best and Less. They're only $2.50, so you could pull one apart just to look at how they do the stitching etc.

Not real happy with it yet, but getting there... The tummy elastic was nasty to do, and i really wasnt thinking with some.. Oh well :)

I have about 10-12 nappies to make up at the moment as a gift collection (belated 3rd and 1st b'day gifts!) so i better get into gear and get them done...

Ill have some excess to sell in swap and shop after :)
