My daughter had 3 needles for her 2 and 4 month injections.

Surely you have a child health book, with all the information about vaccination? You wouldn't just rock up at the docs without reading what they're about to do, would you?

When you get there, ask them to explain each needle to you. I did some reading, but then asked when I got there too. The nurse was pretty nice and explained everything to me before she did anything.

Three needles. Two at once (each thigh) and then a third.

Hi Kerry76

My DS had 3 injections at his 4 mth vax - same as what he had at his 2 mth vax.
Good luck - it's always difficult to watch isn't it, but for us personally the decision to vaccinate is one we are very happy and comfortable with. I just hate needles myself so I empathise greatly when my DS has his!
