New PUL and Suedecloth Coop - who's in?

[Two Little Buggalugs]

OK ladies, next on my wishlist is PUL and suedecloth, so I'm doing another bulk order and invite you all to share with me!

2mil PUL - $12.50 per metre
100% polyester knit, 150cm wide. One metre is apx 6 nappy cuts. Commonly available for $3.50/$4 per nappy cut. 2 colours will be available (see below).

White Suedecloth - $11.50 per metre
100% polyester, 150cm wide, with provides a wicking/stay dry lining to fitted, pockets or AIO/AI2 nappies or lining for boosters and cloth pads. Suedecloth is stain resistant and durable for frequent washes. Commonly available for $3.50/$4.50 per nappy cut.

POLL - I will buy 2 colours of PUL, use the poll to vote for your two preferences, the two most popular are the ones I'll buy.

POSTAGE - is additional and can be via Australia Post or Fastway Couriers. Eg. small orders will fit in a $5.10 satchel and larger ones will fit in a $9 satchel. Up to 5kg can be sent using Fastway.

NOTE - if you live in Melbourne, you can arrange to pick up from me instead of paying postage.

TO ORDER - reply on this thread with the amount you are after and colour preference for the PUL.

ONE LAST THING - pls include your state and postcode with your reply. I suggest that if you want to save on courier costs, those in the same state may want to get their orders sent to one person in your state and you can pick it up from them. Good excuse for a bubhub meet :thumbsup: !

Hi ladies,

Sorry, baby brain! There's been no word about the fabric being in Aust yet, so I'll leave this open until I get word for delivery. She was thinking it would arrive early this week, so I can't imagine it will be much longer.

We need a min of 30m for the prices listed. We're at about 25m of PUL so that's fine, I don't mind getting a bit extra if there are no more takers. So PUL will go ahead no matter what.

But we're only on about 15m suedecloth. If there aren't anymore for suede, I can still do it, but we miss that better price bracket. If it comes to it, I'll let you all know the new price and you can choose whether or not to keep your quantities.

Presuming the fabric is available next week, it would probably be with me by the end of next week, so everyone could start making their payments then ready for cutting and sending over the weekend.

I'll try and get an update on the fabric tomorrow and let you all know.

We are a go! I have enough numbers of PUL now so anyway else wanting to order or increase their qty, pls let me know asap as I'll need to add your numbers.

With the suedecloth, I'm going to order the extra to get the better price break and I'm sure I'll be able to sell it over time. But I'll put a post in the cloth discussion section anyway to see if there are any extra's lurking around.

So, basically the prices stay the same and I'm just waiting on confirmation that the fabric has arrived :smiliedance:.

Oh cr@p!!!! I've just gone to order and they've loaded pics of the actual fabric colours on site - the butter is a darker yellow than I imagined while the green is quite pale and might be a better option for those wanting to use it as hidden.

I'm sorry to do this to you all, but if you think that this might affect you - could you pls check the tiny toosh website and look in the bulk orders section, click on pul and enlarge the pic that does with any of them and you'll see what I mean.

Please let me know asap if you want to change your colour. The lady knows I want to do this big order so there's no drama about missing out. I'd rather everyone was happy with their order. :wave:

Hi Nay! The thumbnail image I see has three rolls of fabric yellow on the left (previously called butter), blue in the middle and green on the right. It is quite pale, hence I thought some people might prefer it. I was after white originally so I'm changing to the green rather than butter/yellow.


Did she say how long it would take to get white?

I believe that she won't order again until the first lot has sold, but I've emailled to check if there's any chance the white will come in on backorder or something. Will update as soon as I know.

There isn't a fault allowance with these fabrics, so I haven't done extras for dirty marks like I did with the hemp and bamboo as I've been told they will wash out.

If your fabric has marks that don't wash out or you find a fault that I didn't see, just pm me.

I think it's the plastic laminate stuff? I've never bought PUL before though, so i can't say for sure!

The last stuff I bought didn't smell, it was from greenbeans though so maybe this stuff smells because it's newer? It should go in the first wash :fingerscrossed:
