AF came back tonight :gloomy:  :( :banghead: very sad indeed! I was 4 days off my 2 years without AF anniversary.
All day Liam has been boobie obsessed...yanking down my top and wanted to feed non stop. It is driving me completely insane. Is this normal behaviour? Does AF affect the quality or quantity?
Yes, some mums find their supply dips while they are menstruating, and that can elict a feeding frenzy, or disinterest from a child..
Can we swap? I am desperately seeking my fertility!! :)

Be my guest :D
Actually its very weird. Pre-pregnancy I had really awful periods - very heavy and painful. This is breezy man...no cramps and so light. I can live with it. :fingerscrossed: it stays like that!
And thanks...it looks like my supply has dipped. Normally Liam has 3 feeds a day but today he had 14. bleh! I better bake up some of my lactation cookies tomorrow.
I had exactly the same thing! Painful periods before having kids, now (when they do happen to appear:rolleyes: ) they are much easier, probably the same amount of flow though..great, isn't it? :)
Ahhh I got a dreaded visit from AF this morning also, and that would explain why i've been sitting on the couch all day with my boobs out
Well I was thrilled at her return for myself, but yeah the BF became nuts!

All I can say now is ow :(. These cramps are so painful.
I'm going to eat oats this morning, and tonight will buy some more brewers yeast and green leafy vegies.

Aww did the cramps come after all CK?
Nearly 2 years without AF.. your so lucky! Mine came back straight away both times :(
Mine returned last month. DS is nearly 6 months now so AF arrived a bit earlier than I would have liked, but no pain and a lot heavier than they used to be......2 years would have been better.
How do you know if your supply drops while having AF ?
I didn't notice if DS was feeding more or not, I can't remember, but is that usually the sign of low milk, when bubs wants to feed more, or is there another way to tell ?

bambino, I had to deal with constant feeding. He latched on for hours. We had 4 wakeful nights.
AF is over and it was so different. This is TMI but it used to have so heavy with clots...and nothing like that this time. Barely any blood at all  - still very crampy though!
