Car Booster Seat

I'm going to start searching for a booster seat for my DS - can anyone recommend a very good booster seat? (No limit on spending has long as he is safe)

At what age did you put your darling in a booster seat?

They should stay in a baby/toddler car seat for at least 3 yrs/14 kilos (having said that, don't go putting your 15 month old in one cos she's 14 kgs already...lol)

I recommend the maxi rider or the pegasas. they are both great, and high backs.

i can recommend the maxi rider as well my son is 4 and a half and his a big boy, tall and quiet stocky and still has quiet alot of room there :) I think it was about $300 but that was 12 months ago

I would recommend the Safe n Sound Maxi-Rider or Explorer. Or there is a brand new model just like the Maxi-Rider that has been bought out by Infa (the company that makes the "Turn a Tot" car seat) :thumbsup:

:thumbsup: Another Maxi Rider user here too.

They are from 8 - 26kg where as normal boosters are generally from 14- 26kg. They also are just like a car seat, more protection than a normal booster and they have the 5 point safety harness.

We put DD into her maxi-rider at 2.5 only because DS came along and we used her car seat for him, otherwise she would still be in it.

Another vote for the maxirider 3 of mine are in it, only one thats not is Alex and hes just in a normal booster as I really cant decide whether or not to get a maxi for him too being too big for the 5point harness already

Yes I too would say a MAXI RIDER II ...

5pt harness until 18kg and then they are used as a booster seat preferably with a PROTECTA HARNESS until 26kg...
Have a anti-submarine clip, great Side Impact Protection...

I heard the maxi rider was a good booster seat, I might have a look at them when I go to a baby store.

My DS is 18 months and he is a big boy - just got weighed at 14.6kg, but I will put him in the booster seat at the end of the year, I want to go out and start looking, and start saving!!
