I was 18 when i got pregnant, turned 19 a few weeks before he was born.

I was 20 when I had my first - he's seven now and he has a 9 month old brother.

My first born was not a planned pregnancy but it was definitely meant to be. I love being a mum, nothing is more rewarding and it has made me strive to be the best I can be for my darlings.

Having said that, when I saw a comment someone had written earlier about the fact that they're 19 and trying to conceive I had to wonder - is that really the right decision to be making? I don't know you and don't want to judge you at all but I am left wondering if you trying to fill a hole that should perhaps be filled by something else.

I never had an adult life without children and sometimes feel a slight tug of regret when I hear stories from my friends and people I meet. Don't misunderstand me, I'm not saying I regret my children - not one bit - but it does sadden me somewhat to think I will never have that life experience.

Hold on to your youth!! There are so many years ahead of you... Enjoy them.
