How's this stash to start with?

Okay... so after reading all the websites and all the threads (okay not ALL the threads, but a lot of them) I've come up with a list which I think will be workable.

What to all you experienced clothies think? Am I missing something??

* 24 terry flats
* 10 Baby Beehinds Bamboo
* 6 BumGenius Pockets
* 4 bummis PUL covers
* 3 BabyBeehinds PUL covers
* 6 bamboo inserts/boosters
*6 microfibre inserts/boosters
* 2 wool soakers
* 1 BB wool cover
* 2 Tot Bots fleece covers


I'm also thinking about getting 2 or 3 AIO's but not sure on brand. Also.. what's your opinions on the Tot Bots fleece covers, or should I go with another brand.. I like the funky patterns in these though! Also, Im thinking of getting a couple of StarBunz for bubs to use as PJ's with a singlet in summer. Has any one else used these?

That looks like a really great stash. I'd wait on the starbunz until bubs is a little bigger, might be a bit uncomfy for nights too because they are so layered might be a bit bumpy. IYKWIM, plus why waste it for nights? they are so cute you'd want everyone to see it :D

one thing i would suggest though (unless you've already bought everything!) is that while some kinds of nappies are seen as "the best" by some, to others they dont fit their bubs well at all. so others opinions are a great thing, but before you spend lots of money on one kind of nappy i'd say just to trial one, and then buy more later.

obviously you can't try one of everything (well, you can if you dont need to eat i suppose!) but theres nothing worse than spending lots of cash on something and finding it doesnt work for you

The only thing about it that I'd do different is the inserts for pockets- I'd grab some hemp ones instead of bamboo- bamboo is lush when against bub's skin but very slow drying, so IMO hemp is good as it dries fast and is still very absorbant :yes:
My fav hemp insert are Hemparoo's from Green Kids. Although your terry/flannellette flats will do the job too! I wouldn't worry about havng something that will soak up wee for hours because those newborns poop all the time anyway! :D
