I just had a beautiful brooch that was my Great Aunty's (who passed away quite some time ago). That was my 'something old'. I had the hairdresser put it in my hair. I had my hair down and curled, with some of the front side bits pulled back to the centre of the back loosely. The brooch was on one side. Looked quite nice, if i say so myself :D

BTW, it was not planned that way at all. i was just going to have my hair curled and down, but the night before my wedding i stayed at my sisters house and she pulled all her jewellery out and found this lovely ivory brooch. She had it because she was named after Great Aunt.

I had both the veil and tiara because really how many times can you wear a tiara and not be looked at weirdly for it. :laughing:

none.... only because the strap over my shoulder went down to my bum... so in the breeze it flew around, and i didnt want it hidden.

(but did see a nice head piece veil, that was strips of the chiffon or the netting stuff..... would have LOVED it... but couldnt have both :()

I wore a really long viel that was my mum's, and a little tiara. My hair was really long at the time, and in big curls and just the front was pulled back. I loved it, it was just how I wanted. Unfortunately it was really windy and the vial ended up driving me crazy LOL But I wouldn't have changed it

I wore both.
Here is a pic showing my Tiara but you can't really see my veil though.
My veil was at the back under my hair & had the same black embroidery on it as my dress.

I had a beautiful Amethyst beaded necklace woven through the back of my hair. Unfortunantly no photos were taken of it:(

Im just wearing a viel.It sits at the back of my head and cascades down to my bum
I was considering a tiara but with a viel,necklace and earrings I thought it would just be too much.

i wore both...was the best i definately loved the tiarra and though it made my hairstyle really special!!:yes: only thing i would have done different would be not to take my veil off for the reception...i dont know why i did it looked so beautifull...but it was good in some ways too cause u could see my hair really well!

your bouquet is amazing. i'm so jealous. because i skimped on the bouquet and its so obvious, and now i'm kicking myself.....but, hey...what can i do.

I wore a tiara with small rosebud flowers in my hair.
It wasn't too formal so a veil would of been OTT.
