When i was pregnant with my son my partner and i hadn't been together for long but i loved him and trusted him until one day when i went through his mobile phone and read a message from a girl calling him her sex kitten and telling him how good she was ra ra ra any way this was probley 9 months ago and i let it go til last night and i saw her at cricket she plays net ball but was all dressed up and was going to confront her about it but she left before i had a chance to, so today my DP gave me her number and said "Its about time you sort it out yourself" so i got the courage up and called her and mentioned this to her mind you they had been friends for years so they both tell me and she denied anything going on because she is married with kids and her partner has done this (cheated on her before) she told me that she is just a chatty person and i have nothing to worry about!!! And we should catch up fpr a coffee and a chat sometime what do you think???

Hmmm why did you go through his phone in the first place????? The reason I ask is because the only reason I go through DP's phone is to check up on him...as I know alot of others do too....

Its a hard one, a friend does not rant on like that knowing that his partner (meaning you) could possibly see it, and she would know that this would cause problems, so maybe she has a bigger plan and becoming friends with you is a scheme, or its all innocent....You wont know until you dig deeper, but be prepared to find out things about your dp that she may know but you dont....

Personally if they are really good friends and have been for ages, get to know her,see her side of things but never put your full trust in her....

my opinion anyway...

I do agree with you but i'd like to get to know her more and see if my gut feeling had anything to do with why i went through his phone i guess my ex played up and i was hoping this one wouldn't but i guess you never know:banghead: me and my partner have spoken about this several times but i was not happy about it and wanted to get to the bottom and thats why i called her....:o
