Silly question but is it ok to still give MJ a sleep feed at night when i'm going to bed? We co-sleep so she feeds when she wants to anyway, but i was thinking of maybe giving her a little top up before I go to sleep anyway.

Thoughts?

Up to you! If you find it lengthens the time till she wants her next feed then maybe it's good for you. Elizabeth Pantley suggests it in NCSS. It didn't make much difference to me but if it's working for you and MJ, you go for it!
:)
You know what to do, don't you?!

i do this as i work late shift and get home after 11pm. I wake bubba up and give her a feed before i go to bed ( she usually has a EBM bott about 7pm and wakes up again around 2am) and she will sleep through until about 5/6am which is a blessing for her poor tired mum.:)

Hey RB, I used to do a late feed too, it is recommended in lots of books. I noticed though that it actually disturbed little dudes sleep pattern, and he sleeps through longer if I don't wake him at night to feed.

So perhaps you could try it for a while and observe what happens with your bubba. If it lengthens her sleep time then great.

Hi RB
I could never wake my babies sufficiently for a sleep feed, but if it works for you both - go for it :D .

Cheers

I give Rebecca a bottle between 11pm-12am before I go to bed then she won't wake up until at least 8am next morning.

Pure bliss.

I am though deciding whether I will continue with the last feed as I am going back to work very soon and don't think I can cope going to bed at 12.30am then waking at 7am (selfish I know).
