Stand Up OR Sit Down??

Hi There :p

I am starting to potty train my son, Jhonny ( Turning 3 next month ) and I am wondering if I should teach him to stand up or sit down when he is peeing :confused:
- Any tips on potty training little boys are welcome :D

Wow three boys :D you must be busy!

We have recently started toilet training orlando (17 months, he showed signs that he was ready) but Im afraid I cant really help with the standing/sitting thing as his too short yet to stand so we are using the potty. He does number 2's in the potty but we've stopped trying for number ones as by the time he tells me he is almost already doing it :p

I think if your little boy is tall enough to stand and wants to then go with the flow, perhaps daddy can help out too; although that said my DH is hopeless when it comes to tt LOL he has no idea and isnt very helpful :rolleyes:

Im sure there will be others on here with lots of advice for you.

Well i started with the sitting when i was potty training Jakob then when he moved on to the toilet i had to show him how to stand up & wee.
But at 3 you might be able to get away with skipping the sitting stage we could only hope hay.

We have just started tt with Rylen ( he is 2.4 yrs), we are sitting at the moment but in the last few days he's been standing over his potty or leaning himself on the toilet so he just reach over the bowl to do a wee lol.
So i think it's time for a wee-man or a step for him to reach the toilet :eek:
