fenugreek dose - how much

I have been taking fenugreek for some time now - 1 table 2 times a day (and an extra dose when i feel rundown..) - i have read that you can take it 2 tabs four times a day ....

so i am wondering how much mummies actually take and how long for ie just when stressed or same dose everyday???

The ones I have are 1000mg and I usually take one capsule, three times a day if I feel my supply is a bit low or Toby's feeding alot.

I don't take it all the time. I usually find that my boobs feel really full after being on them for about 24 hours. So I usually only take them for a few days and then when the growth spurt's over or whatever I stop.

They work really well for me! :)

is there nobody else on fenugreek - ?? i was really after some thoughts on what everyone else takes and if it is working for them??

I was having twice the dose on the pack. So 2 tablets three times a day of the 1000mcg ones.

I think it worked, I mean I was able to express a little more, but I think my expressing problems are more to do with letdown than supply.

Your BO starts smelling like maple syrup when you take twice the dosage :D

I've been taking the Nature's own Fenugreek tablets and I believe they do the trick and boost your milk supply. But it does take a day or two. I've taken 2 tablets 3 times a day. I also drink fennel tea during the day. Cheers, Nele

I have been taking 2 tabs 3 times a day,...and think they have helped my supply.

Just wondering though,..has anyone noticed that they make bubby really gassy? Rafferty is chock full of wind,..and I think it may have something to do with the fenugreek,.. any thoughts???:confused:
